Love Comes To Me
Chapter 1218: Get married as soon as possible

"I will get better with you by my side." The old lady held her hand back, her pale face smiling more and no longer looking so lifeless. "By the way, Grandma, I have something to tell you." Earlene wiped the tears from her eyes and smiled.

"Have you found a boyfriend?" The old lady looked at her with a smile.

Earlene bowed her head shyly, "Well, I found one."

The old lady asked casually, but was delighted to replace out that it was true, "Really? Bring him to me."

"He's right outside, I'll get him in."

Earlene walked quickly out of the ward.

Hector, who was sitting outside, saw her come out and immediately stood up, asking with concern, "How is Grandma?"

Earlene straightened his clothes and raised her eyes, "She wants to see you."

"You're crying." He frowned, his gaze locking on her red eyes.

"Why aren't you on the same page as me?" Earlene laughed helplessly.

When Hector heard that, he hastened to collect himself and said seriously, "I was listening when you said Grandma wanted to see me." "Yeah." Earlene nodded in satisfaction, "Would you like to go in and see her?"

"Of course I would."

It was her grandmother, which made her his grandmother, and there was no reason why a junior couldn't see an elder.

"Then let's go in."

Earlene dragged him into the ward and to the old lady's bed.

"Grandma, this is my boyfriend, Hector."

Hector called out affectionately, "Grandma."

As soon as he entered, the old lady's inquisitive gaze remained fixed on him.

When he and her granddaughter stood in front of her, the old lady finally knew what a match made in heaven meant.

The man was handsome and the woman was beautiful.

It was a match made in heaven.

The old lady smiled with satisfaction, "This young man, grandma likes him very much."

Earlene nudged the man beside her who was a little nervous, "Grandma says she likes you."

Hector smiled politely, "Thank you Grandma."

Earlene watched, and was relieved.

Ever since she had been injected with the drug, Hector's personality had changed one hundred and eighty degrees, how cold he had been before, how hot he was now. The old lady smiled and said to Hector, "Young man, come closer, grandma has something to say to you."

At that, Hector hurriedly bent down and came closer.

"Young man, this granddaughter of mine is a bit willful sometimes, but she is really good and well behaved, you must treat her well and not bully her, understand?" Hector nodded solemnly, "I know."

"If you dare to bully her, I'll be the first to forgive you!" The old lady warned him with a stern face.

"Grandma, don't worry, I won't bully Earlene, I'll be good to her for the rest of my life."

Hearing Hector's promise, Earlene suddenly felt a sense of unreality.

She gazed steadily at the side of his good-looking face; was this man really hers?

Could it be just a dream?

When she woke up, he would be back with Eloise again.

Noticing her gaze, Hector turned his head and became nervous when he saw her crying, "Why are you crying?"

At his question, the old lady looked over as well, "Earlene, what's wrong with you?"

Earlene hurriedly wiped her tears and squeezed out a smile, "I was so happy to see you all getting along so well that I couldn't help but cry."

"Silly child." The old lady laughed helplessly.

"Earlene, don't cry." Hector wiped her tears, held her hand and turned his head to look at the old lady with an extremely serious expression, "Grandma, I will take good care of Earlene and be good to her for the rest of my life." Looking at her granddaughter who was still crying, the old lady couldn't help but wet her eyes as well, revealing a smile, "Grandma believes in you."

Hector also smiled as he received the old lady's trust.

The old lady suddenly thought of something and asked, "When are you planning to get married?"

This was such a sudden turn of events that both Earlene and Hector froze.

In fact, Earlene hadn't thought about getting married yet, after all, Hector was still legally married to Eloise, so it would be more of a problem to get married. "Grandma, we don't have that in mind for now." Earlene said.

"No such plans?" The old lady frowned, "Don't you want to get married?"

"Grandma, what Earlene means is that there is no rush for now, we can get married when you get better."

Hector said as he turned his head to look at Earlene.

Four eyes met.

He did want to marry her.

Earlene was so moved that she moved her hand and interlocked her fingers with his, "Grandma, we will get married, you have to get well soon." "And what if I don't get better?" The old lady suddenly asked this.

The atmosphere was quite depressing all of a sudden.

The old lady sighed, "I know my own health best, whether I get well or not depends on God."

"Grandma, don't say anything discouraging, as long as we have faith, you will get better." Hector said soothingly.

"Whether I get better or not, you will all get married." The old lady looked serious, "And get married as soon as possible!"

"Marry as soon as possible?"

Earlene and Hector looked at each other, both a little confused.

"Well, get married as soon as possible. You get Rawlins to come to the hospital tonight and I'll have him check out a good date for you to get married." "Grandma, there's really no need to be in such a hurry..."

Earlene tried to persuade her, but before she could finish her sentence, she was interrupted, "I'm in a hurry, I must see you have a family before I go." At these words, Earlene fell silent.

If it was for the old lady's peace of mind, it wasn't impossible for them to get married as soon as possible.

Just... would Hector agree?

She turned her head to Hector and asked cautiously, "Will you?"

Hector smiled, "Of course I'm willing."

He would.

Earlene breathed a sigh of relief and smiled out, "Since you're willing, it's all up to Grandma."

Hector nodded, "Good."

They spoke with the old lady for a while longer before leaving.

As the car pulled out of the hospital car park, Earlene thought back on what had just happened and it still felt surreal.

She turned her head and looked deeply into Hector's eyes, "Are you really willing to marry me?"

Hector was a little confused, "Why are you asking that, aren't we dating? Isn't marriage what dating is all about?"

At that Earlene smiled, she took his hand in hers and rested her head on his shoulder, "You're right, we're going out to get married."

When we got married, she would be his wife.

Just thinking about it made her feel happy.
