Love Comes To Me
Chapter 1220: Still Heartbroken

She lifted a step and was about to walk over.

At that moment, Earlene rushed in front of her, stopped her with open arms and bellowed, "Eloise, have you made enough noise?" She was in fear.

Eloise was more than sure that Hector was in the room behind her.

"That's my husband." Eloise said, "Even if you hide him from me and don't let me see him, it doesn't change the fact that he's my husband."

Earlene snorted disdainfully, "Can't you get a divorce if you're married?"

"Of course you can get a divorce, but I have all the papers." Eloise said methodically.

Earlene fell silent, staring dead at Eloise with a vaguely resigned look on her face.

"Earlene, let it go, he really doesn't love you." Eloise advised softly.

In this way, she tried to make Earlene realise how wrong she was for what she had done.

"No, he loves me!" Earlene retorted.

Eloise nodded, "Okay, I admit he may love you now, but that's not true, that's the love you used to get. One day it will be restored."

"No way!" Earlene panicked, her voice sharpening, "Eloise, don't think I'm worried and scared just because you say that. I know Hector best and if he says he'll love me for the rest of my life, it will be for the rest of my life." It turned out that he had told Earlene he would love her for the rest of her life.

Even though it was said during a time of amnesia, it was still like a knife stabbed hard into the heart.

It hurt!

It hurt!

Eloise's face hardened a little and she pulled at the corners of her mouth reluctantly, "What a coincidence, he said he'd love me for the rest of my life too, but it was when he was still Hector." "He forgot about you!" Earlene said through gritted teeth.

"He'll remember everything from the past, and he'll remember that the person he loves most is me." Eloise shot back defiantly.

Just as the two men were at each other's throats, the door to the room opened.

Hector came out rubbing his somewhat dishevelled hair, his eyes sleepily yawning, "What's all the noise?"

The moment she saw him, Eloise's eyes immediately filled with tears and her red lips lifted, "Hector."

A somewhat familiar voice.

Hector's eyes widened as he looked at the sound, and a small, clear face fell into his eyes, a flash of surprise in his eyes. It was her!

"Why are you awake?"

Earlene's tone was a little bad.

Hector thought he had done something wrong and was a little overwhelmed, "I was woken up by the noise."

His innocent and somewhat flustered expression pierced Eloise's while eyes.

He was such a proud man, never showing such an expression, not even when she was barely there.

It wasn't her Hector.

"You go to your room, I'll sort it out here soon." Earlene tried to push Hector into the room.

But it was like the soles of Hector's feet had taken root and he couldn't be pushed.

She looked up, only to replace him staring straight at Eloise.

"Is she ... here to see me?" Hector asked tentatively, twisting his head around.

Without waiting for Earlene to say anything, Eloise snaps, "Yes, I'm here to see you."

Hector smiled, "Since you're here to see me, what do you want?"

"Brother."

Rupert had been stopped dead in his tracks by the butler, who was older and he didn't dare to push the man away straight away, so he had to tangle with him.

As soon as he saw Hector now, he couldn't care less, and pushed the man out of the way and rushed over to him.

"Brother?" HectorEdwina frowned, looking suspiciously at Rupert, who had an agitated face.

Rupert was busy nodding, "Yes, you're my brother, we're brothers."

He did look a little like himself, and there was something inexplicably familiar about looking at him. "Also, she's your wife." Rupert pulled Eloise over to him and told him seriously.

Hector nodded, "She told me. But I'm sorry to say that my memory doesn't include either of you." "That's okay." Rupert waved his hand, "If you come home with us, you'll remember soon enough." Even if he had forgotten all about his past, they were confident that he would regain his memory. Eloise gazed at him tenderly, "Hector, come home with us."

With that, she reached out to take him by the hand.

Slap!

Earlene slapped her hand away and stepped in front of Hector, glaring at them coldly, "How many times do I have to tell you to understand that he's not the same Hector, he's forgotten about you and has started a new life." Eloise rubbed her wrist where the slap had hurt, her skin was white and the red marks were clearly visible.

Hector's heart throbbed for no reason as his eyes touched the red, and he spoke unconsciously, "How could you be so stupid and not know how to hide?"

A low, heartfelt voice.

Eloise and Earlene were both shocked.

One looked at him in disbelief, not believing that he would say such a thing to Eloise.

One, on the other hand, cried, elated.

"Even if you've forgotten me, you still feel for me when you see me hurt, don't you?" Eloise looked at him expectantly.

Hector wrinkled his brow, he didn't know how he could have said something a little ambiguous like that.

He looked at Earlene cluelessly, asking her wordlessly what was going on.

"You go to your room." Earlene said.

Eloise was really affecting him too much to let them see each other or things would go in a direction she dared not imagine.

"But..." Hector turned his head and met Eloise's affectionate gaze with a surprising twinge of reluctance sprouting in his heart.

Since he said he was forgetting the past, was it true that he and she had been married before?

There were so many doubts in his mind that before he could ask, he was pushed by Earlene into the room and slammed the door heavily behind him. And locked it behind him!

"Earlene," Hector said, looking at Earlene in disbelief.

Earlene's back was pressed against the door, the room was a little dimly lit and she looked obscure.

Bang, bang, bang-

Eloise knocks hard on the door, "Earlene, do you think you can hide him for the rest of your life? Are you scared because you've realised he's not actually completely over me!" No matter how hard she knocked or how much she shouted, there was no movement inside.

Rupert could only step forward to stop her, "Sister-in-law, don't knock. Even if you break the door down, she won't open it."

"Is that the only way to give up?" Eloise laughed bitterly, "Your brother is obviously inside and I can't bring him home, I'm really too useless."

"Sister-in-law, it's not your fault." Rupert glanced at the housekeeper and lowered his voice, "Sister-in-law, let's go home first and think about it, there's always a way to bring brother home." Eloise looked at the closed door in front of her and lifted her hand to place it gently on it, serious and solemn, "Hector, I will come to take you home."

He said, before reluctantly leaving.
