Love Comes To Me
Chapter 1255: A&Z Group

"Is this your way of kicking me out?" Hector looked at her with a smile.

Eloise got up, patted the dust on her bottom and said, "I've got things to do and I don't have time to chat with you."

Earlene was about to come back and if she saw Hector in her place, she would definitely kick her out.

The idea had been to take this opportunity to be alone with Hector and see if she could get him to remember what had happened before.

It would be more than worth it if she was thrown out of the Bartram family because of it.

The more she thought about it, the more alarmed she became.

Eloise went straight to work and pushed Hector out of the flower room.

"Get your ass upstairs and we'll talk some other time."

She was the one who called him down, and she was the one who told him to hurry upstairs.

She was the one who called him down and told him to get upstairs.

Seeing that he was still standing there, looking at herself in confusion, Eloise said in an anxious tone, "Get upstairs!"

At the moment, she had forgotten that she was only a servant, and her attitude was a little bad.

But Hector didn't feel angry, and even felt an inexplicable sense of familiarity come over him.

--"Hector, I forbid you to read any more papers, go to bed early."

A woman's voice suddenly rang in his ears.

It was clearly an angry voice, but with a hint of pout.

Hector's eyebrows knitted together in confusion, who was this?

Seeing that his face didn't look right, Eloise hastened to ask with concern, "Is something wrong with you?"

Hector looked back up, met her concerned eyes and shook his head, "I'm fine."

"Are you sure you're okay?" Eloise was unsure.

"Yeah." Hector smiled, "I'm going upstairs."

Watching his back as he left, Eloise frowned, something didn't seem right about him?

He wasn't feeling well again, was he?

The thought that he might not be feeling well made Eloise angry, and it was Earlene who was angry.

Hector had always been in good health, but since his disappearance, there was no telling what Earlene had done to him that had made him worse. When he regained his memory, she must give him a good tonic.

Just... when would he regain his memory?

Eloise couldn't help but be annoyed at the thought of it.

She looked to the first floor with a glint of determination in her eyes, no matter what, by all means get Hector's memory back!

...

Edgar returned to the office and had just walked into the office when the assistant's intercom called in.

"President, the Vice President is looking for you."

Edgar furrowed his brow, what was this Arlice doing here looking for him?

"Send him in."

Arlice pushed open the door and saw Edgar sitting in his office chair.

If it weren't for the old man's partiality, he would be sitting in that seat!

"What can I do for you?" Edgar looked up, his gaze faintly directed at him.

Arlice walked over, "A foreign pharmaceutical company has contacted me in the past two days, saying they want to work with us. I've come to see you about it." "Cooperation?" Edgar's mouth curled up in a sneer, "How did you know to talk to me this time?"

Arlice was no fool, of course he could hear the sarcasm in his words, although his face became a little ugly, but still said, "I was wrong before, I hope you don't take it to heart." Don't take it to heart?

Was that a wish for him to pretend that nothing had happened?

The amount of money the group had lost just because he had worked with SA Group privately last time was something he could never forget in his life.

But Edgar didn't want to talk about it anymore either, and just asked, "Which company abroad?"

"The A&Z Group."

Once he heard this company, Edgar was surprised, "A&Z? Are you joking?"

"I'm not joking. Their head did contact me and made it clear that he wanted to work with us."

Edgar considered for a moment and asked out loud, "What do they want to work with? Medicinal materials? Or something else?"

"The A&Z Group is interested in developing in our country and needs a partner so that they can open up the domestic market as soon as possible."

Edgar raised an eyebrow, "Meaning they want to use Khan Group as a stepping stone?"

At that, Arlice frowned, "Why would you think that? Maybe it's a win-win situation for both sides?"

"Mutually beneficial?" Edgar snorted, "As far as I'm concerned, the Khan Group is a stepping stone that will be kicked out as soon as A&Z gets a foothold in the domestic market."

Arlice didn't think so, "It takes a foreign company a long time to get a firm foothold in the country, whereas we at Khan Group have a long-established reputation in the country, how dare they cross the bridge?"

"Why wouldn't they dare?" Edgar got up and walked to the floor-to-ceiling window, overlooking the street scene at the bottom of his feet from above, and laughed softly, "The domestic market is that big, it's not like we don't have the strength to do it, why should we share the cake with others?"

This was something Arlice hadn't thought of.

He fell silent.

Edgar turned around and looked at him expressionlessly, "I don't agree with this cooperation, you can simply refuse."

Arlice still wanted to use this partnership to turn over a new leaf and change his impression in the minds of the directors.

"Edgar, think about it, A&Z is a big company, they will never do anything to harm the interests of Khan Group, you have to trust me and trust the partners."

Edgar looked at him quietly for a moment and said straight away, "I just don't trust you."

Arlice hadn't expected him to be so direct and choked, not knowing what to say.

"Is there anything else?" Edgar asked.

"No."

Arlice's lips twitched to persuade him to agree to the collaboration, but the words swallowed back on the edge of his tongue.

If it had been someone else's idea today, perhaps Edgar would have considered it.

Arlice knew very well that Edgar was deliberately targeting himself, but there was nothing he could do about it.

Who made him the president of the company?

"Edgar, you're going to regret this."

With those words, Arlice turned around and left.

Watching the door close, Edgar snorted, he would regret it?

Anyone could regret it, but there was absolutely no way he would regret it.

A&Z's offer to work with Khan Group this time was definitely more than just a desire to enter the domestic market, and he couldn't take that risk just to be on the safe side. Even if the partnership was really a win-win situation, he had to look into it before it was feasible.

Back in his office, Arlice was so angry that he dropped his desk sweeper onto the floor.

His arms were crossed and his face was horribly grim.

"Edgar!" he said through clenched teeth.

He had waited for a chance to turn over, but Edgar had pushed him back.

Fine, Edgar wouldn't agree, he'd replace another way.

No matter what, he was going to make the partnership with A&Z happen!
