Love Comes To Me
Chapter 1306: Do you want to marry that bitch?

When Edgar arrived, Edwina smiled at him and asked, "Why aren't you at work today?"

"Didn't I tell you I missed you?". Edgar looked at her with a smirk.

"Don't be ridiculous." Edwina looked at him in disgust, "It's not the weekend and it's time to work, you must be up to something, right?". Edgar burst out laughing, "I can't seem to keep anything from you."

"Are you really up to something?". Edwina frowned.

"It's not that I'm up to something, it's that someone came to the office looking for me and I didn't want to see her."

"It's not Elva, is it?"

Edgar raised an eyebrow and nodded noncommittally.

"It really is her." Edwina felt a little sick inside.

Especially at the thought that Elva had been with him last night when they talked on the phone.

A family...

Edwina thought about the "family" that came out of his mouth.

Seeing the look on her face, Edgar knew she must be thinking again, so he teased with a grin, "Jealous?"

"Huh?" Edwina froze.

Edgar smiled at her and spoke slowly and deliberately about last night.

"My mother arranged it yesterday, it was just dinner with Paulina and her family, but who knew my mother would call Elva and the others too."

Edwina said, "Oh," but said nothing.

"What, you don't believe me?" asked Edgar.

"Of course I do." Edwina smiled at him, but her heart still felt a little stuck.

It had been a while since her parents had considered Elva family, so I'm afraid it would be harder for them to accept her.

"Well, don't come in here thinking nonsense." Edgar slipped his arm around her shoulders, "I'm a little hungry, are you done yet, can you go home and cook me some noodles?" This meeting place, near Edwina's house.

"You haven't had breakfast?" Edwina gave him a sidelong glance.

"I was too busy in the morning escorting Paulina and the others to the Bartram family to eat breakfast."

"And how was it?" Edwina was speechless.

"We'll talk about it on the way home."

Edgar put his arm around her and walked in the direction of the car.

...

Back at home, Edwina went straight to the kitchen to prepare the pasta, while Edgar took the phone that had been ringing out to the balcony.

He picked it up and Ivor's voice was heard, "President, can you come back, Mrs. Elva is tearing up your office."

Before Edgar could say anything, Elva's booming voice sounded on the other end of the phone.

"You're talking to him on the phone, aren't you?"

Elva walked over to Ivor and gave him a stern look.

Ivor swallowed saliva and forced a smile, "Mrs. Elva, why don't you go to the conference room and I'll ask the president when he'll be back for you." "Give me the phone!" Elva held out her hand.

"No need." Ivor unconsciously hid the phone behind him.

A stern light shone in Elva's eyes and she hurried to snatch the phone from his hand.

"Mrs. Elva!" Ivor rushed to try to retrieve the phone.

A gash in his eye shot up and Ivor could only desist, sighing heavily to himself, why did the president have to let this sort of thing play out?

Edgar didn't hang up the phone, and just listening to the commotion on the other end, you could guess how difficult it was for Ivor.

He raised a hand to pinch his aching forehead and said coldly, "Elva, how many times do you want me to tell you before you understand?" "Edgar!" raged Elva.

Not wanting to talk to her so much, Fang Yu said bluntly, "I repeat, I don't like you and I won't marry you, so die."

Elva's face turned white with anger and she gritted her teeth: "You want to marry that bitch?".

Edgar remained silent.

Elva let out a laugh, a slightly raucous laugh.

Edgar wrinkled his forehead.

"I'm telling you, you're not marrying me and you're not marrying that bitch! You'll never get married as long as I'm around!".

With those harsh words, Elva hung up the phone immediately.

Edgar gripped the phone tightly, looking very grave.

Edwina approached him, well aware of the coldness emanating from his body, and seeing that his face did not look good, she asked with concern, "Is something wrong? Is something wrong with the company?" As soon as he heard her voice, Edgar immediately withdrew the coldness from his body and smiled softly, "No."

Edwina raised an eyebrow and asked shyly, "Could that be Elva?"

Edgar was silent for a few seconds, then reached up and rubbed her head, laughing, "Don't get carried away." Then the conversation shifted, "Is the dough done?"

"Yes."

"I'm so hungry I could eat two plates."

Edgar said as he entered the house.

Edwina turned around and watched his back, her eyebrows slowly furrowed, he must be hiding something from her.

Elva walked out of the Khan Group and headed straight for the old Khan family home.

As soon as she saw Dulce, she became furious and complained about Edgar.

"Auntie, Edgar has gone too far! I went to see him at work and he avoided me and wouldn't see me. He ..."

Elva cried in anger.

Dulce hurried her into the living room and sat down, telling her soothingly, "Don't be angry yet, tell Auntie if anything happens to you, I'm sure she'll do it for you."

Elva wiped her tears and asked, "Auntie, do you know about Edgar and Edwina's relationship?".

Did she really know?

Dulce froze for a moment and put on a shocked expression, "What did you say, what relationship?"

"Edgar and Edwina are seeing each other."

Elva repeated, staring at Dulce as if trying to see something on her face.

"Elva, the words aren't coming out of your mouth. How is it possible that Edgar is seeing someone else?". Dulce made a face of disbelief.

"Tia, it's true." Elva became distressed, "Edgar admitted it himself."

"That brat ..." Dulce muttered, furious inside.

Elva didn't hear her, "Tia, what did you say?"

"I mean that brat is so unfriendly!". Dulce pretended to be angry.

"Tia, it's really not Edgar's fault." Although Elva was also angry with Edgar, she couldn't help but speak up for him, "It was Edwina who seduced Edgar, and Edgar was momentarily fooled!" "Seduced?" Dulce frowned.

"Yes, that Edwina woman went out of her way to seduce Edgar, why else would Edgar be with her?" Elva gritted her teeth angrily at the mention.

Was Edwina really such a person?

Dulce wasn't very convinced because, from what she knew of Edwina, she wasn't that kind of woman with an impure mind.

"Elva, don't worry, your aunt will take care of this for you."

As long as the marriage contract between the two families, The Terrazas family and The Boone family, stood, it was really her own son who had gone too far.

She, as a mother, had to take care of this matter before it became a big problem later on.

"Auntie, thank you." Elva thought that if she intervened, Edgar would definitely come to his senses.

Dulce smiled, "You don't have to be so polite to me, we're family from now on."

Elva smiled happily.

And Dulce looked at her with a hint of worry floating under her eyes.
