Love Comes To Me
Chapter 1331: No more forgetting everything about you.

"I will make more time for you guys in the future." Mark promised her.

Paulina let out a laugh, "You have to do what you say. Don't go back to being a workaholic as soon as you get your memory back." "I won't."

During his time with them, Mark felt a sense of peace and warmth he had never felt before.

He loved the feeling of being together as a family.

"Mom, I want water." Sweety finished a whole rice ball and said in a milky voice.

Paulina smiled, "Okay, Mommy will get you water."

"I want some too." Esteban held up his little hand.

Paulina poured them each a glass of water and watched gently as they finished it.

"Are you full?" asked Paulina.

Sweety nodded, "Full."

"Then rest for a while and come back and play later."

Paulina rubbed her head and said to Mark, "Have some hot soup and if you're still not feeling well, we're going home."

"No, I'm fine." Marcos didn't want to spoil the fun for the two children.

Paulina smiled and said nothing more.

It wasn't until the sun went down that they packed up and went home.

On the way back, Sweety was in front with Esteban, holding the ball, and Marcos and Paulina followed behind, walking slowly. Suddenly, the ball fell and rolled in the middle of the road.

Sweety ran and tried to pick it up.

Paulina and the others tried to stop her too late.

Just then, a car arrived from far away.

"Sweety!" exclaimed Paulina, dropping what she was holding and running toward Sweety.

There was a figure faster than her, running past.

It was Marcos.

The car was approaching.

Paulina's heart was in her throat.

Marcos grabbed Sweety in his arms and rolled to the side as the car passed him.

Ouch!

A pain shot through his head and Marcos' brow furrowed.

"Marcos, Sweety!"

Paulina ran over with Esteban in her hand and hurriedly picked Sweety up, seeing that she was all right, and looked at Marcos. Sweety was terrified, her little face was grim and bloodless, she shook her head, "Mommy, Daddy..."

Paulina knelt down and helped Marcos to sit up, asking urgently, "Marcos, did you fall somewhere?"

As soon as she finished asking, she saw that he had scraped the skin on his arm and it was oozing blood.

She was distraught, "How did you fall like that? ..."

"I'm fine. Just..." Mark reached up and rubbed his temples, "My head hurts."

"You fell on your head?"

Paulina reached out anxiously to check his head, only to have him grab her hand.

"No, I think some images went through my mind."

"Images?" Paulina froze, then replied, "Did you think of anything?"

Mark was silent for a few seconds before he shook his head, "It was so fast that I didn't remember or recall anything." "Nothing's wrong."

Paulina pursed her lips in concern, "Is your head still hurting?".

"Yes."

Her face didn't look good either.

Paulina told the two boys to stay still, got up and went to the side of the road to call a cab to take him to the hospital.

Mark was in a special state and she didn't dare to neglect him.

The doctor examined him and found that he had suffered only superficial injuries.

As Sweety watched the nurse rub the medicine into Mark's arm, tears welled up in her eyes as her girlish face filled with remorse. Seeing this, Paulina hugged her and said softly, "Don't cry, your daddy is fine."

"But... but it's bleeding, it must hurt." Sweety was crying, crying as she said, "Daddy, I'm sorry, it's all my fault..."

Seeing her cry, Mark took her in his arms with his uninjured arm and said in a soft voice, "Daddy it doesn't hurt, it doesn't hurt at all." Despite what he said, Sweety was still crying.

She felt it was all her fault.

If she hadn't run out into the middle of the road, Dad wouldn't have almost been hit by a car and hurt himself trying to save her. The guilt in her heart made her cry and cry.

"It's okay, don't cry." Paulina felt helpless, "Just be careful from now on."

Only after Marcos comforted her did Sweety slowly stop, runny, her eyes red from crying and looking miserable.

Paulina wiped her face with a wet wipe, "You're not even pretty with red eyes."

"I'm always the prettiest in Daddy's eyes." Sweety said with a proud look on her face as she lifted her chin.

Paulina feigned displeasure and deliberately asked, "What about Mom?"

"Mom..." Sweety thought seriously and said reluctantly, "Then she's a little prettier than me."

Paulina laughed at her, "Why is your little mouth so sweet?".

Sweety finally smiled.

"Try not to touch the water for a while." The doctor instructed her.

Paulina nodded, "Okay, I'll be careful."

By the time they left the hospital, it was already dark.

Seeing that Sweety was still not in a good mood, Paulina stroked his head and said, "To make up for today, let's go on another picnic in the park sometime, okay?" "Really?" Sweety raised her head, her eyes unusually bright in the night.

"Hey, of course it's true."

Paulina smiled, "Now let's go home."

"Let's go home." Esteban and Sweety perked up and ran quickly down the stairs.

"Slow down, don't fall!" Paulina yelled from behind.

"You'll be careful." Marcos took her by the hand and said, "It's not far from home, let's go back slowly."

"Yes." Paulina leaned close to his arm and said softly, "We've rarely walked like this."

"I'll walk with you more often."

Hearing that, Paulina turned her head and looked at him with a Dulce smile, "You've promised me many things in the meantime, so don't forget them when you get your memory back." "No." Marcos shook his head, "I won't forget anything about you again."

Paulina felt sweet, but said deliberately, "I don't believe you."

"Is it because you don't trust me?" asked Marcos.

"Can't you hear I'm joking?"

Marcos laughed softly and tugged on her hand, circling her waist in a gentle motion, "Of course I can hear you."

"Then you ..."

Before Paulina could finish her words, the voices of Esteban and Sweety could be heard coming from her.

"Dad mom, hurry up guys."

The two little ones had moved a little away and were jumping up and down and waving towards them. Paulina raised her voice and said, "Okay, we're here."

And with that, she grabbed Mark's hand and ran towards them.
