Love Comes To Me
Chapter 1330: I'll Always Be There for You

When father and son finished talking, they took another walk outside and when they arrived home again, Sweety was already asleep. Paulina smiled and asked, "Where have you two been?"

"In secret."

Esteban said, and ran into the bedroom.

Paulina laughed helplessly and looked at Marcos with a raised eyebrow, "You're not going to tell me either?".

"Just to see the ride out of the house." Marcos answered truthfully.

"A walk?" Paulina was a little confused.

"Well, Esteban and I talked about some of the old times, but..." Marcos sighed, "I still can't think of anything."

Paulina smiled softly, "It's okay, I'm in no hurry, neither Esteban nor Sweety, you being with us is enough."

With that, she stepped forward, opened her arms around his waist, buried her head in his chest and whispered, "Even if you never think about it, it's okay." As long as he was close, she felt calm.

Mark held her tightly, guilt written all over his handsome face.

It was because she felt this way that he was even more desperate to get her memory back.

...

The next day, Sweety woke up early and ran to Paulina and Marcos' room.

"Dad, Mom, the sun is shining, get up."

Paulina and Marcos woke up and both sat up from their beds, looking at Sweety with a puzzled look.

"Why are you up so early today?" asked Paulina.

"Mommy, didn't we agree yesterday that we would go on a picnic today?" said Sweety in a soft voice.

Paulina laughed helplessly, "It doesn't have to be this early."

"But we have to make rice balls!"

Paulina yawned and compromised, "Okay, you can wait downstairs for Mommy, okay?"

"Okay." Sweety obediently went out and closed the door thoughtfully.

Paulina turned her head to look at Mark, and seeing that he was still sleepy, she said, "You get some more sleep, I'll get up first."

"No need."

Without waiting for her to respond, Marcos lifted the covers off the bed and went into the bathroom with his slippers.

Paulina smiled and got out of bed as well. She walked over to the window and opened the curtains, the morning sunlight instantly illuminated the room.

As she gazed at the bright weather outside, Paulina's smile deepened a bit and she couldn't help but exclaim, "What a beautiful day."

The weather had been beautiful for the past few days since she had arrived in France, and it had relaxed her greatly.

She took a deep breath and turned to leave.

As she came down the stairs, she saw Sweety playing in the living room.

She stood watching in silence for a moment before picking up her steps and heading for the kitchen.

Only when she was ready for breakfast did Mark and Stephen come downstairs.

"What took you guys so long?" asked Paulina as she poured their milk.

"I had a model I couldn't spell right and I asked dad to teach me." replied Esteban as he sat down.

Paulina smiled, "Isn't it nice to have daddy around?".

"Yes!"

Esteban and Sweety replied in unison.

She waited for the three of them, father and son, to sit down to breakfast before taking off her apron, "I'm going upstairs for a moment, you two eat first." Once she had gone upstairs, Esteban asked in a whisper, "Dad, you really haven't thought of anything?"

Mark turned his head, met her expectant eyes and shook his head softly, "No."

"Oh." Stephen bowed his head in loss.

Mark felt uncomfortable and reached up to touch his head, "Don't you trust Dad?"

"Of course I trust Dad." Stephen looked up, he just thought maybe last night he would remember something.

A faint smile tugged at the corners of Marcos' mouth. "Whether Dad remembers or not, I'm still your dad and I'll always be there for you." "Mmm." Esteban nodded vigorously.

...

After breakfast, Paulina set about preparing food for the picnic, with rice balls and a variety of fruit crackers, which were plentiful.

They chose a nearby park because it was closer and easier to get to and from, and because it was wide enough for Esteban and Sweety to run wild.

Once at the park, Paulina laid out the picnic rug, laid out the various food items and sat and watched as Marcos, Esteban and Sweety played soccer. Sweety's giggles could be heard from time to time.

Paulina tilts her head, squinting at the cloudless blue sky, and purses her lips.

It was a really beautiful, warm day.

"Mommy, Mommy, you come and play too." Sweety ran to her and struggled to lift her up.

Paulina had to get up and smiled, "Yes, Mommy is coming to play too."

So she joined the ball game.

The family of four kicked the ball around the lawn happily until Sweety shouted that she was hungry.

Back on the picnic towel, Paulina washed the two boys' hands with anti-stain liquid before allowing them to pick up their rice balls and eat them. Marcos unscrewed a bottle of water and handed it to her.

"Thank you." She took a sip and handed it back to him.

Marcos, naturally, brought the bottle to his mouth and tilted his head to take a big sip.

He didn't remember, but some things still came naturally to him.

It was as if he hadn't lost his memory.

Thinking about it, she picked up a rice ball and put it in his hand, "You eat too, or your stomach will hurt again later."

Hearing her say that, Marcos unconsciously clenched his stomach.

His stomach felt a little upset.

"What's wrong, are you really uncomfortable?" Paulina saw his actions and asked hurriedly and worriedly.

"A little." Marcos frowned faintly.

"Then don't eat the pasta yet. Have some soup."

Paulina took the rice ball from his hand, turned her head and opened the thermos, pouring him a bowl of soup.

"Drink it while it's hot and see if it makes you feel better."

Marcos looked at the bowl of soup and the corner of his mouth curved up, "Are you always this considerate?"

"That's for sure. You're my husband, they're my children, how can I not be considerate?"

Mark looked up and met her clear eyes.

A slight ripple ran through his heart.

He took a sip of his soup, warming it and wondering if it was his fault his stomach felt better.

"Better?" asked Paulina, staring at him.

He smiled softly, "Yes, much better."

"That's good."

Paulina breathed a sigh of relief. "You were so busy before, so busy that you didn't eat your three meals at the right time, and that's what caused your stomach problems. Sometimes it's nice to think you've lost your memory, to drop everything and spend time with me and the kids."
