Love Comes To Me
Chapter 1355: The consequence is that I will die.

Earlene couldn't believe it when she heard that Mark had returned home, "What do you mean, they're back in the country?" Winston nodded, "Yes."

"When did they come home, how come I didn't know?"

"The flight was last night."

Hearing this answer, Earlene became furious and swept the table off the floor.

Had they returned home?

Then what was the point of her coming to France?

After a moment to calm down, Earlene gave Winston a disgruntled look, "Didn't you send someone to keep an eye on them? How come you didn't know until now?"

"They moved to the estate of The Leoz family in France, a car drove into the estate that day and didn't leave until the evening, my people didn't make a big deal of it and thought they were just guests." "Nonsense!" Earlene picked up a glass and threw it at him.

Winston ducked out of the way, his downcast eyes sweeping with a hint of melancholy.

"You trash, you're all trash! You don't even know how to watch people!" Earlene's face twisted in anger, her eyes flashed red, and she glared at Winston with a venomous, stinging look, as if she wanted to tear him apart. Winston was silent for a moment before he spoke slowly, "I've booked a flight for two hours from now, we're coming home too."

Grandma Bartram had recovered well since her operation and the Rawlins took her home to recuperate once she was sure she was ready to leave the hospital.

When she heard that Earlene had gone after Mark to France, she shook her head and sighed, "Why is this Earlene girl so hell-bent on it?"

She had already put her life on the line for her granddaughter's happiness, and she hadn't heard what was being said about the Bartram family.

But now that Marcos had opted to return to The Leoz Family, she thought maybe Earlene would give up, not realizing that she was still so hell-bent on Marcos. "Grandma, if you can, you need to talk Earlene out of doing something stupid." Rawlins advised.

Grandma Bartram nodded, "Yes, I'll talk her into it. In any case, The Leoz family is not something we can mess with."

...

"Grandma, you have to do it for me, The Leoz family is too much, and I don't want to think that if I hadn't saved Mark, they would have lost him to The Leoz family."

Earlene returned home from France, crying and complaining with anger and resignation about The Leoz family.

The old woman wiped away her tears and sighed, "They went too far, especially Marcos, and they shouldn't have treated you like that."

"Grandma, Marcos doesn't love me anymore, he clearly promised you that he would take good care of me for the rest of my life, how could he not keep his promise." At the mention of this, Earlene's tears fell harder, her belly full of aggravation.

If she had known she would replace herself in this situation, she should not have returned to her country and should have taken Mark with her to stay in J.

The old woman had promised Rawlins that she would talk to Earlene, but now that she had heard her granddaughter cry like this, she relented and immediately asked the housekeeper to call Rawlins home.

Rawlins thought something had happened to the old lady and hurried to her house.

Upon entering and seeing Earlene, he froze and then reacted.

"When did Earlene get back?" he asked, puzzled.

Earlene ignored him.

The old woman had to reply, "She just got back a little while ago."

Rawlins saw that Earlene's eyes were red with tears and her brow furrowed slightly, probably guessing what was going on when the old woman was suddenly called home.

After a moment of silence, the old woman said in a leisurely voice, "Rawlins, run yourself to The Leoz Family and take Marcos back to the Bartram family."

Although I had already guessed it, Rawlins was still a bit stunned, "Grandma, do you know what you're saying?"

Marcos was from The Leoz family, where did he get the right to bring someone back into the Bartram family?

"Grandma is old, but she's not confused." The old woman gave him a disgruntled look, "How could I not know what I'm talking about?"

"Grandma, it's The Leoz family, do you think I can keep people away from The Leoz family?"

"You have to replace a way even if you can't. Anyway, make sure you bring the person to me!"

The old woman's unflappable tone caused Rawlins to frown slightly as she looked at Earlene, who always had her back turned, and sighed inwardly. Why didn't she know how to give up when things were so bad?

He squeezed the hands that had fallen to his sides, then released them and said, "Earlene, have you thought about the consequences?"

Earlene gave him a sidelong glance, her tone a little cold, "The consequence is that I will die."

At these words, the old woman's face paled with fear and she hastened to say, "Earlene, don't think twice."

"Grandma, I don't want anything, I just want Marcos!"

"Fine, I'll send your brother to The Leoz Family."

With that, the old woman shot a stern look at Rawlins, who stood motionless, "Go away! Do you really want to see your sister go looking for death?" "Grandma..." Rawlins looked helpless.

Couldn't he hear that Earlene was just scaring them?

"Don't say anything, just go away!" The old woman let out a snap.

The Rawlins had no choice but to leave.

The old woman gently patted Earlene's back and said sweetly, "Our Earlene is so good, Mark will realize he made a mistake and come back to you all right." "Really?" Earlene looked at her with anticipation written in her eyes.

The old woman smiled, "Of course it's true."

"Grandma is the best." Earlene hugged her and rested her head on her shoulder.

The old woman laughed with delight, "We, Earlene, are the best too."

...

The Leoz family did not welcome the arrival of the Rawlins and if it wasn't for the bone crop, everyone in The Leoz Family wanted to kick people out. "Please sit down." Mr. Juan made the inviting gesture and motioned for Rawlins to sit down.

Rawlins obeyed and sat down, not expecting to meet Ms. Gloria's hostile gaze and smiled awkwardly.

"Have you come to do anything today?" asked Mr. Juan, getting straight to the point.

"Man, I'm sorry to interrupt." Rawlins tried to smile politely, his heart particularly uneasy.

"If you know you're intruding, what are you doing here?" Ms. Gloria growled coldly.

Mr. Juan patted her hand, "Well, anyone who comes is a guest anyway, don't have a cold face."

Gloria's voice rose, "If it wasn't for his sister, would Marcos have lost his memory? Don't think I'm going to be nice to the Bartram family."

With that, she looked at Rawlins, her revulsion evident.

As if unaware, Mr. Juan looked at Rawlins, "Hey, I'm sure you've come to get something."

With Mrs. Gloria's attitude, how could Rawlins dare mention that he was here to take Marcos back to the Bartram family.

He thought about it and made a request, "I want to meet Marcos."

"No!" coldly pronounced Mrs. Gloria.

Rawlins tugged awkwardly at the corner of her lips, "Auntie, it's just that I want to say something to Marcos alone."

"If I tell you no, I can't, don't you understand?". Mrs. Gloria looked at him with displeasure.

"I ..."

Rawlins had barely finished his sentence when a familiar voice came to interrupt, "What do you mean?"

It was Marcos.

Rawlins stood up hurriedly and looked in the direction of the voice.

He saw Marcos approaching, a handsome face without a trace of expression, his eyes as cold as a dark pool. This was not the same Marcos of the Bartram family.

Rawlins swallowed saliva and grew increasingly nervous, "Mr. Marcos, it's been a long time."

"I hope we never see each other if I can." Marcos stopped a few paces away from him, his tone distinctly icy.

"I hope so too." Rawlins smiled bitterly, "But you know that's not possible."

During his time with the Bartram family, Marcos knew exactly how Rawlins felt about Earlene and, naturally, the mood with which he was addressing the Leoz family today. "Let's go upstairs and talk." said Marcos.

Mrs. Gloria grew impatient, "Marcos, what do you have to talk to him about? If we have to talk, let's do it here."

At that, Rawlins sighed and compromised, "No need to go upstairs, let's talk here."
