Love Comes To Me -
Chapter 1389: It's all my fault.
"Where is Paulina?"
Marcos grabbed one of the men and questioned him in a cold voice.
As soon as the other man saw it was him, he immediately bowed his head respectfully, "Great Prince." "Did I ask you where Paulina is?"
"Paulina and the Second Prince's car crashed into a tree ..."
Mark looked in the direction she pointed and his heart stopped for a few seconds when he saw Alvaro's car. His Paulina!
Eyes instantly red-rimmed, he lifted his legs and lunged for it.
At that moment, someone rushed to stop him.
Marcos looked terribly grim, his eyes full of merciless bloodlust.
"Get out of the way!" he shouted, and with one long leg raised, kicked the man hard to the ground.
The others saw him and joined him.
"Get out of my way, all of you!"
Mark was so focused on getting to Paulina that he was quick and precise, and despite the number of people on the other side, he was no match for them. Within moments, the wailing was in full swing.
"Out of the way!" Mark clenched his fists and clenched the words between his teeth.
The men in front of him backed away in fright.
Marcos didn't realize that someone behind him had brandished a baseball bat and was about to hit him.
"Watch out, Prince!" Alfredo rushed up and knocked the man down with a kick.
He stood behind Marcos and looked askance at the people who had gathered again, "Prince, I'll handle this, you go check on Paulina and the others." He feared that the lives of the second prince and Paulina would be in danger if he continued to tangle with the other side.
Marcos gave him a sidelong glance, "Be careful."
Alfredo smiled, "Don't worry, Prince, you trained me."
"Then be careful too."
With those words, Marcos knocked down the man in front of him and, covered by Alfredo, ran quickly towards Paulina and the others.
The scene of the accident was shocking, the entire front of the car was dented and smoking, and the windshield was shattered.
Marcos looked for the door, but it was locked tight and could not be opened.
Through the glass he could clearly see Alvaro and Paulina crushed between the airbag and the seat.
Even Alvaro's head was still bleeding, crimson blood sliding down the airbag.
"Paulina, Alvaro!"
Marcos banged hard on the window, shouting their names, but there was no response.
He looked sideways, picked up a stone from the ground and smashed it against the car window. The glass shattered and, ignoring the risk of cutting himself, he reached in and opened the car.
The moment she hit the tree, Paulina's eyes filled with panic, and the next moment, nothing.
At that moment, in the chaos of consciousness, she thought she heard Marcos' voice.
"Marcos ...", she moved her lips with difficulty and tried to call out to him, but no sound came out.
Marcos could not save two people by himself, so he turned his head and shouted to Alfredo, who was not far away, "Alfredo, come help." Alfredo was tangled up with the enemy and, hearing the voice, hit him harder.
Then he ran quickly to Marcos.
When he saw the situation in the car, he sucked in a breath of cold air, "This..."
"Cut the crap, go to the other side and get Alvaro out." Marcos ordered as he bent down to unbuckle Paulina's seat belt.
Paulina regained some consciousness and tried to get a little voice out, "Marcos ..."
At the sound of her voice, Marcos' eyes welled up, "Paulina, I'm here to save you."
A reassuring and familiar voice.
Paulina curved her mouth, "I knew you would come for me."
"Don't say anything, I'll take you to the hospital right away."
Marcos pulled her out of the car.
At that moment, Vega arrived in his car.
Shout-
There was a rough sound of tires scraping the ground and the car stopped.
Vega quickly got out of the car and came to Alfredo's aid.
With the combined efforts of Alfredo and Vega, Alvaro was carried to Vega's car.
"Principe, what about Paulina?" Vega turned his head to ask Marcos.
"I'm going to bring the car around." Without waiting for Marcos to answer, Alfredo beat him to it.
"Marcos, I'm dizzy." Paulina lay in Marcos' arms, eyes closed, consciousness drained.
Marcos put his arms around her, "I'm here, we're going to the hospital soon."
"Mmm." Paulina curved her lips and the next moment she fell back into darkness.
Marcos sensed something was wrong and called out to her several times, "Paulina, Paulina ...."
There was no response.
Paulina had fainted again.
At that moment, Alfredo pulled up next to her in his car, got out and opened the back seat door. Marcos rushed in with the person in his arms.
Alfredo quickly got in, started the car and sped off in the direction of the hospital.
Eliazar, who had stayed behind, led the way and took care of everyone on the other side.
"Who the hell sent you?" Eliazar grabbed one of the men and questioned him in a stern voice.
No matter how much he threatened him, he would not speak.
Finally, with a sullen face, Eliazar ordered, "Keep everyone under control and don't let them escape."
...
Alvaro was the most seriously wounded, with a bleeding head and cuts on his arm and face from broken glass, which had clotted the blood.
He was taken to the operating room to be resuscitated.
Alfredo and Vega were at the door of the operating room.
The two men looked at each other with concern written on their faces.
Vega sighed, "Eliazar informed me that they had found the prince, so I stopped what I was doing and ran back, but I didn't expect this to happen as soon as I got back."
Alfredo patted him on the shoulder, "The prince is back, but not a day goes by without peace."
"Who exactly is it that is trying to betray Paulina?" asked Vega suspiciously.
"It's a long story, I'll tell you later."
Alfredo looked toward the closed door of the operating room. "The most important thing now is that the second prince gets well, otherwise none of us will be able to explain ourselves to the prince and the others." Vega also looked toward the operating room with a somber expression.
Paulina was in the emergency room and, after the doctor's examination, there was only a slight concussion and nothing more serious.
"The person will be awake in a few moments." Said the doctor.
Marcos was still unsure, "Doctor, are you sure she's okay?".
"Positive. Don't worry, there's really nothing wrong with the person, but he must be in shock, so try to stay by his side."
"Good."
Even if the doctor hadn't said anything, Mark would have stayed by her side.
His heart was filled with remorse and guilt for what had happened.
If he hadn't let her and Alvaro go home first, this wouldn't have happened.
At this thought, she squeezed Paulina's hand tightly, slightly cold, and her eyes fell on his pale face.
"Paulina, it's all my fault."
I don't know if she heard his words, but Paulina's fingertips moved gently, but the person did not wake up.
"I'm sorry, I will never part from you again." Mark said softly as he took her hand and placed it against his face.
