Love Comes To Me
Chapter 152: Giving the order to expel

On Eloise Thompson's side, she was still in a bit of a trance after leaving the hospital.

With the scene from the hospital still fresh in her mind, Eloise Thompson smiled to herself, she had always felt that she had no hope of ever being with Hector Rogers, but at the moment she was overwhelmed.

Eloise Thompson realised that she had always had something to look forward to. She had always felt that Hector Rogers and Solomon liked her, and she was working hard to see if one day the Rogers family would really accept her, and that it was not impossible for them to get together.

But now...

He and Reeva Lawson are actually planning to have a baby? Did he do it by choice? Or is the Rogers family forcing him.

Whatever the case, Hector Rogers and himself really can't be together.

Eloise Thompson took a deep breath and it looked like it was time to die in the future.

They can't be together.

Eloise Thompson mentally told herself to come to terms with this reality and sighed as she gathered her emotions before slowly making her way back home.

Solomon had been waiting at the door for a long time and when he saw Eloise Thompson, his eyes lit up and he said sweetly, "Auntie Eloise, why are you so late? I thought you weren't coming back."

Eloise Thompson's phone was dead and turned off, and she felt a little guilty for a moment.

"Sorry, Solomon, Auntie got delayed on the way!"

"It's okay, it's good that Auntie Eloise is back safely."

Eloise Thompson smiled as if nothing had happened and walked into the house with Solomon in her arms.

After putting Solomon on the sofa, Eloise Thompson went to the kitchen to cook. Solomon was going to help, but she refused.

Solomon had to stay in the living room and watch TV, but a moment later the doorbell rang and Eloise Thompson vaguely guessed that it was Hector Rogers, remembering the hospital, and with a slight twinkle in her eye she spoke to Solomon in the living room, "Honey, Auntie is chopping vegetables and can't get away, would you answer the door? Can you get the door?"

"Okay Auntie Eloise," Solomon said as he obediently went to open the door.

Seeing Hector Rogers at the door, the little one still had last night's events on his mind, so the little one walked into the living room with a haughty look on his face and without a word of greeting. Looking at his own son, Hector Rogers smiled a little helplessly.

After closing the door behind him, he entered the kitchen where Eloise Thompson was chopping vegetables. Noticing his arrival, Eloise Thompson's face became a little uncomfortable, but she quickly hid it, but because she had just wandered off, she accidentally cut her knife hand while chopping vegetables.

Blood oozed from the tiny wound and Hector Rogers' eyes narrowed slightly at the corners as he held her fingers and pursed his lips, "Why are you so careless, does it hurt?"

Eloise Thompson's eyes panicked, she pulled her hand away from his and spoke, "It's nothing, it's just a small cut, it doesn't hurt."

Hector Rogers thought she was shy, so he didn't think much of it.

After replaceing alcohol and band-aids to treat the wound, Eloise Thompson intended to continue chopping vegetables, but was stopped by Hector Rogers. "I'll do it!"

Having said that, Hector Rogers rolled up his sleeves and continued chopping the vegetables that Eloise Thompson had just left unchopped.

Watching the movement of his hands, Eloise Thompson wanted to refuse, but didn't know how to say anything, so she just watched him in silence.

Not only were the dishes cut, but Hector Rogers did the rest, a man who a few months ago knew nothing about the kitchen, but who has become incredibly skilled.

Eloise Thompson was in a trance for a moment. He was already preparing for a baby with Reeva Lawson, so why did he come to himself? For a moment, Eloise Thompson couldn't really figure out what Hector Rogers had in mind. She could only tell herself not to have any more hopes for the future of the two of them.

When the meal was ready, the three of them gathered around the table and ate. There was no nightly feud between father and son, and Solomon and Hector Rogers made up.

After the meal, Hector Rogers helped Eloise Thompson clear the plates and also washed the dishes.

In the kitchen, while Solomon was playing in the living room, Eloise Thompson spoke up, "Hector Rogers, if you have another child in the future, you can't treat him differently, Solomon is an insecure child and told me last night that you wouldn't love him if you married someone else."

At that, Hector Rogers frowned slightly, listening in a somewhat puzzled way; what had he missed here? He had the vague impression that Eloise Thompson's attitude had changed over the course of the meal.

Hector Rogers pursed his lips and spoke inquiringly, "Did you misunderstand something again?"

Eloise Thompson's eyes flickered slightly, but she smiled and said, "Naturally not, just reminding you that after all, this Solomon is still young and this little guy is sensitive, so it would be bad if there were any misunderstandings between you when you grow up."

Hector Rogers stared deeply at Eloise Thompson and, after a pause, said, "Naturally not, and I'm sure I'll still be as good to Solomon as ever, even if I marry someone else and have children."

This comment by Hector Rogers alludes to Eloise Thompson, who will only treat Solomon better in the future, even if they have children.

But when it came to Eloise Thompson, it was mistaken for Reeva Lawson.

For a moment, Eloise Thompson's heart felt like it was clogged with rocks as she thought, "What about Reeva Lawson? Would she be nice to Solomon and would she bully him if Hector Rogers wasn't there?

I don't think Reeva Lawson would! After all, she loves Hector Rogers so much.

Eloise Thompson tried to hide her emotions as best she could and said with a smile, "That's fine." With those words, she spoke again and asked, "Are we taking Solomon back tonight?"

Before Hector Rogers could answer, Solomon had rushed over and hugged Eloise Thompson's thigh and spoke, "No, Solomon doesn't want to go back, Solomon wants to stay with Auntie Eloise." Looking at his son's face, Hector Rogers said with a helpless smile on his lips, "Then don't go back!"

Eloise Thompson is fine with that.

"So Solomon's staying here, when are you leaving?"

At this, Hector Rogers froze, this was clearly an eviction order, Solomon looked at his daddy with distress and spoke, "Auntie Eloise, why don't you let daddy sleep on the couch? It's late..." Solomon was always thinking of his own daddy and wanted him to spend more time with Auntie Eloise.

"That won't do, what if your daddy sleeps badly in this dignified body." Eloise Thompson spoke up.

Seeing how stubborn she was, Hector Rogers had no choice but to go back.

Eloise Thompson didn't even bother to see him off and carried Solomon to the bathroom for a shower. Hector Rogers once again felt the difference in treatment between himself and his own son and he was not happy about it. The same was also a vague sense that something was wrong, that Eloise Thompson was clearly angry with herself, but Hector Rogers couldn't figure out why for a while and had to let it go.
