Love Comes To Me
Chapter 153: Introducing the target audience

After Hector Rogers had left and Eloise Thompson had bathed Solomon and was lying on the big bed, Solomon spoke up in some confusion and asked, "Why did Auntie Eloise get rid of Daddy?"

At those words, Eloise Thompson gave a start and heard Solomon again, "Auntie Eloise, even though I said something last night about Daddy marrying another woman, I believe him in my heart, he loves Auntie Eloise as much as I do and neither of us want to be separated from you.

A faint, bitter smile tugged at the corners of Eloise Thompson's mouth, but it really wasn't possible between them.

She wanted to tell Solomon that they would be separated sooner or later, but couldn't bear to. Stroking Solomon's head, Eloise Thompson said softly, "Come on, Solomon, Auntie Eloise knows that this is a grown-up thing, so don't worry about it, it's late, go to bed!"

Solomon sighed and nodded, nestling down into Eloise Thompson's arms and falling asleep.

...

The following day, as always, the housekeeper came to collect Solomon from school and then took Eloise Thompson to the office.

Eloise Thompson was a little distracted at work because of yesterday's events, but fortunately she didn't have any important work on her hands.

Having stayed up until the end of the evening, Eloise Thompson went to Grandpa Fletcher's antique shop as usual.

Grandpa Fletcher taught Eloise Thompson how to make coffee, as he always did, and after only two days, she was getting the hang of it, and for a moment the old man's gaze became a little more appreciative, and then he said, "You're much more talented than my grandson."

If Hector Rogers had heard this at the moment, he would have been speechless.

At these words, a smile flashed in Eloise Thompson's eyes and her mind became calm as she made the coffee, when she heard Grandpa Fletcher on the side speak up and enquire, "What do you do for a living, little girl?"

Eloise Thompson smiled and spoke truthfully, "Grandpa, I work for a planning company!"

At these words, the old man's eyes lit up.

"Really? Coincidentally, it's my birthday party in a while and I'm looking for a company to help with the planning! Do you want to help Grandpa with the planning?"

As we got to know each other, Eloise Thompson knew that the old man was not an ordinary man and that the birthday party was going to be a big one, which she was interested in.

"Grandpa Fletcher, just let me know what style you want for your birthday party if you don't mind and I'll plan it for you every day after work."

The old man sniffed and said, "That won't do, this has to go to your company, how can I take advantage of you grandpa! Quickly tell me which company you work for and grandpa will send someone to contact them tomorrow." Grandpa Fletcher liked Eloise Thompson, and although he didn't have much contact with her, he was somehow comfortable leaving the planning of his birthday party to her.

"Grandpa, there's no need to go to all that trouble, I'll just plan it for you straight away."

"No, it has to be, business is business, it's about following the process."

Eloise Thompson cried bitterly, she knew Grandpa Fletcher was trying to fill her performance, but Eloise Thompson still didn't want to, so she spoke up, "No really, Grandpa Fletcher, consider this your daily tuition for teaching me the coffee way!"

Performance is important, but Eloise Thompson doesn't want to get involved with Grandpa Fletcher, and it's just a birthday party, that's all.

Grandpa Fletcher saw that Eloise Thompson wasn't a prude, and the more he saw of her, the more he liked her, so he couldn't help asking, "Are you married, little girl?"

Eloise Thompson froze for a couple of seconds at the sudden change of subject, then smiled and responded, "Not yet!"

At these words, the smile on the old man's face deepened.

"Really? Do you have a boyfriend then? If not I'll introduce you to my grandson, who is also single."

For a moment, Eloise Thompson was sweating a little, how can you even bring an introduction!

"No, Grandpa Fletcher, I haven't been planning on thinking about that lately!" Eloise Thompson smiled and politely declined.

Grandpa Fletcher, however, was reluctant and made a strong push for his grandson.

"What no consideration, you are afraid that my grandson is not good, huh? How could grandpa screw you over! I tell you what! That grandson of mine is brilliant and handsome, you'll love him, and it's no coincidence that last time he came in not long after you'd just left the shop, so if you'd left later, you two would have met."

The more I think about Grandpa Fletcher, the more I regret that if only Eloise Thompson had stayed longer that day, she might have met Hector Rogers and the two would have met and probably dated by now.

Eloise Thompson was in tears and had to agree to it casually.

"Fine, fine, I'll definitely see you at the next meeting."

The senior then smiled with satisfaction as Eloise Thompson left and called Hector Rogers.

"Remember that little girl I was telling you about last time? I've asked around, she's unmarried and single, Hector, when are you going to meet up together?" Hector Rogers didn't expect Grandpa Fletcher to call him on a rare occasion just to talk about this, and for a moment he had a bit of a headache.

"Grandpa, didn't I tell you? I have someone I like."

"That has nothing to do with you meeting someone else's little girl, just meeting her doesn't let you do anything."

The corner of Hector Rogers' mouth twitched as he spoke perfunctorily, "Grandpa, I've been very busy lately, so break time!"

The phone hung up and Grandpa Fletcher sighed helplessly, thinking, "Forget it, I'll invite Eloise Thompson to my birthday party and they'll definitely meet up.

...

On the other side, inside the restaurant.

Reeva Lawson had an appointment with Robbie Gardner to talk about the project. There was a recent tender for a piece of land in the east of the city and the Gardner Group was interested in acquiring that piece, so they asked Reeva Lawson out. And, of course, with it came Agnes Thompson.

The restaurant was elegant and Robbie GardnerAgnes Thompson was a bit flattering to Reeva Lawson, and after greeting her, Agnes Thompson smiled and said, "Miss Reeva is a first-class woman of high society, her skin is so well maintained, and you look so beautiful in your school uniform. You look so good in your school uniform, people would think you were only 18! I'll have to ask you about that later!"

Agnes Thompson is telling the truth. Reeva Lawson is covered in hundreds of thousands of dollars of designer labels, her whole body reveals an air of elegance, and she is good looking.

I don't know who Eloise Thompson is to compete with others, but she doesn't know what she's made of.

With a faint smile on her face, Reeva Lawson spoke with grace and dignity, "Miss Eloise you're welcome, you're so good at it yourself, why would you need to ask for advice!"

"Of course I need it, I usually don't know anything about skincare, I just do random treatments, especially after I got pregnant, and I don't dare to use anything indiscriminately, my skin is getting worse and worse." With that said, Agnes Thompson got to talking to Reeva Lawson.

Robbie Gardner had brought Agnes Thompson with him so that he could get closer to Reeva Lawson and have a better conversation, and now that he had seen the two-day chat, he had a smile in his eyes and felt he had brought the right one.
