Love Comes To Me -
Chapter 1592: Making enemies everywhere
When the boss saw Blythe's ugly face and kept silent, he thought she wanted to renege on the debt, so he chattered on the side, "Not that I'm saying that, Miss Blythe, you've come back from studying overseas and are the head of a big group, this matter started because of you, you can't renege on the debt."
"Miss Blythe, this wouldn't have happened if you hadn't suggested a medical examination, you could have walked away, but the reputation of our kindergarten would have been ruined, the loss would have been much greater than your investment!"
Blythe, annoyed by the noise, shot an impatient glance at her boss.
The latter was instantly silenced, but was distressed about his money and looked at Blythe bashfully.
"Got it, I'll ask the secretary to take you to get the money." Blythe said with some impatience.
She wasn't short of that money, it was all unexpected. It was just that she hadn't expected that Hector would do such a desperate thing and actually cut off all her back.
This man had recovered his memory, and he was more than capable of doing so. He had never bothered to kill anyone before, no matter what, but now he had gone this far to deal with her. Good for you, Hector!
Seeing that Blythe was already very annoyed, but the boss only cared about his own money, he didn't bother with her and happily followed his secretary to the finance department. Inside the large office, Blythe was left alone.
Her face was a chill as she stood in front of the floor-to-ceiling window overlooking the city.
Hector was too dangerous and she had to get rid of him sooner rather than later, but what could she do now?
"Blythe, what are you thinking?"
Suddenly, a male voice sounded behind her.
Blythe looked back and saw that it was Winston, and instantly became a little aggravated again.
Although she didn't like Winston, he really was, at the moment, the best person for her, the only person she could rely on.
"What's wrong?" Winston asked caringly when he saw her look different.
Blythe gave a brief account of what had happened today and she frowned, "What should we do now, JR has not yet opened up the market in the country, and to take on the Rogers Group is to hit a rock with an egg." Seeing her frown, Winston stroked her brow, "Don't worry, I'm here for you. As long as I'm here, not only will I protect you, I'll give you back everything that belongs to you."
"That's very kind of you." Blythe said in a soft voice.
At Blythe's compliment, Winston's eyes lit up and a light went off in his head, "Get your brother. You're Granny Bartram's nominal goddaughter now, so it's all family in the end."
"Will that work?" Blythe was a little hesitant.
What was the difference between this and not being able to fight and going back to your mother's family?
"Why wouldn't it work, don't think about it so much, revenge is important now, and even if they replace out who you are later, they'll be more than happy to know you're willing to reach out to them for help." Winston raised an eyebrow and continued, "Besides, if the three families unite and can't deal with Hector again, then your brother is a real loser."
Hearing this, Blythe was displeased, wasn't he a loser! Wasn't he also unable to deal with Hector?
But she didn't dare to say that now, so she had to put up with it.
However, even though his words were a bit harsh, they were still valid, three against one, the odds were stacked against him!
After thinking this through, Blythe no longer hesitated and immediately picked up her phone to contact Rawlins.
Seeing that it was Blythe's phone, Rawlins answered without saying a word, "Blythe, what's up?"
"Brother, Rogers Group is so bullying ..."
Blythe omitted the fact that she had drugged Sweety and simply said that Rogers Group had approached her to work with them, she had refused and then been targeted.
After that, she pretended to be at a loss, "I have no family in the country, only my brother's family is considered family, can you help me? If it doesn't work, I'll think of something else." "Good. Don't be afraid, I'll help you get your revenge."
Rawlins was softened by this part of her speech, and with the feud between the Bartram family and the Rogers family, he said almost nothing and simply agreed.
After hanging up the phone, a cold smile appeared on Rawlins' face; Hector was really quite capable of making enemies all over the place.
...
Rogers family.
For the past two days, Hector had found various reasons to keep Sweety at home and not go to school, this was so unusual.
This morning, Hector again did not allow Sweety to go to nursery.
Sweety, who was already carrying her school bag, suddenly threw a tantrum, "Daddy, why do you keep me at home when other children can go to kindergarten? Daddy is so mean!" Eloise looked at him suspiciously too, "Hector, is something wrong?"
"Nothing, she's home with you, isn't that nice?" Hector rubbed Eloise's hair gently.
Eloise looked over at him and frowned, "Good, yes, but I think you're hiding something from me."
"That nursery, Blythe is an investor, Sweety is no good there, stay at home for now." Hector was helpless, knowing that his wife, if she didn't get an answer, would keep dwelling on it, and pinched the story. It dawned on Eloise and she stopped Sweety straight away, taking the child in her arms. There was no objection at the moment, and she even took the initiative to comfort her daughter. "Sweety be a good girl, stay home for a few days first, and Mummy will play with you, okay?"
Sweety saw that no one in her family would let her go to school, so she could only nod her head in resignation. But the good thing was, she wasn't bored with her mummy at home with her. Eloise is not as optimistic as Sweety. Blythe is too dangerous and has targeted their family not once but twice.
Any situation that could potentially harm her child was to be avoided.
Sweety couldn't understand the couple's conversation, but Solomon did, and he glanced suspiciously at his daddy, then turned his head to look at the two people who were kept in the dark. Daddy was definitely hiding something from Mummy, and although his sister was still in kindergarten, it was no good not going to school all the time.
So Solomon looked up at Eloise, "Mummy, don't worry about your sister's homework, I can teach her to read and write."
Eloise smiled with pride at the thought of Solomon's perfect grades and said, "That's a good idea, so I'll leave her homework to you."
Solomon nodded solemnly, "Don't worry Mummy, I'll teach Sweety well."
When Sweety heard that her brother was going to teach her how to read, the little bit of depression she felt about not being able to go to kindergarten vanished and she was instantly happy. Every time she watched her brother write, she was so envious, there were so many words she didn't know, and she wanted to read and write her homework too.
"Thank you, brother!" Sweety said happily.
Solomon smiled coyly, then turned his head back to his daddy and raised his head proudly at him.
Hector gave him an approving look.
