Chapter 1593: Who am I afraid of, Rogers Group?

The two youngsters were relieved to see that Sweety had stopped squirming because of Solomon's words.

It wasn't long before Hector left for work and Solomon left for school.

That evening, after a quiet dinner, Hector went back to his study to continue his business.

Everyone knew that Hector didn't like to be disturbed when he was working, so the study was very quiet except for the sound of him flicking through papers and tapping on the keyboard. Suddenly there was a knock on the door.

"Come in." Hector thought it was Eloise coming and looked up.

Only to see a small figure walk in and he raised an eyebrow at Solomon, "Yes?"

Solomon didn't reply and very thoughtfully closed the door to the study before walking over to the desk and raising the same eyebrow at Hector, "Daddy, is there something you're not telling us?" That little look, calmly saying those words like a little adult.

Although he was his own son, Hector didn't look at him as if he was an unintelligent child at this point in time, he just looked at him without saying anything, trying to see how much he could guess.

Solomon knew what he meant too and met his eyes without the slightest bit of trepidation as he calmly said, "Daddy, there's definitely something wrong with you not sending your sister to nursery and it's serious, but you don't want Mummy to worry do you?"

"Is someone trying to hurt Sweety, or has that person already done so?"

Hector didn't feel the least bit surprised by Solomon's reasoning and he nodded lightly, "Well."

He gave a brief account of what had happened at the hospital.

When Solomon heard that someone was really trying to hurt his sister, and by that underhanded means, his brow quirked and there was frost under his eyes, "Drugs that can cause dementia?"

How vicious to do that to a small child.

He and Hector already looked a lot alike, normally Solomon was very gentle so his temperament was very different, but at the moment he was obviously furious, his cold expression was exactly like that of his father. He mouthed the words, "Blythe, right, I remember."

Having already gotten the information he wanted to know, Solomon finished and left Hector's study straight away to go back to his room.
