Love Comes To Me -
Chapter 1600: Don't Be Afraid, I'm Here
Eloise returned the grip and she smiled broadly at Hector, "I'll go then."
With that said, she followed Sener and the guys into the examination room to check the body.
Sener was very careful as they wanted to make sure, to the maximum extent possible, that Eloise's body indicators were acceptable for the antidote.
He said to Eloise somewhat solemnly, "Young lady, although there are many tests, you must also relax in order to ensure that the results are accurate."
Eloise smiled and nodded; she had been examined so many times, how could she still be nervous?
What comes around always comes around, whether it's a success, or a failure, it's all over for her.
She smiled to the room of fellows, "I'm not nervous, so don't be nervous either, don't get the needle crooked, I'm afraid of pain."
When she said this, the room instantly burst into some embarrassed laughter.
How could they not be nervous, after so many experiments with this medicine, now they were finally going to accept the results, for today, they had given so much.
However, because of these words, the atmosphere in the examination room was eased.
Not a moment later, all the examinations were over.
"Young lady, the results will be out soon, you should rest first." Sener said.
"Good, good work." With that, Eloise walked out of the examination room to replace Hector.
Just as she walked out of the examination room, she saw Hector sitting on a bench with a frown on his face, like he was thinking about something, and like he was a little nervous.
Eloise was a little amused that the group ... was the one who had to use the antidote, so why were they nervous?
She quickly stepped forward and nudged Hector's tense face directly with her finger, "What are you thinking about?"
The latter looked up, and when he saw her coming out, he collected himself and said very calmly, "Thinking about the company, the check is ready?"
Thomas, who had arrived at the side, couldn't help but twitch at the corners of his eyes when he saw him say that.
He had been at the office to take care of the rest of Hector's work when he received a call from Hector that Eloise was about to take the antidote, and that was why he had rushed over in a hurry. When he arrived, he found his young master sitting the whole time, not talking or moving.
All this and he was still saying he was trying to work, it was all a lie!
Eloise knew it too, but she didn't expose it, in her eyes he wasn't the thundering Mr Hector of the mall, but her husband, a very sweet man.
She smiled and nodded, "The results won't be out for a while, so I came out to replace you."
After sitting next to Hector, Eloise took his hand, "Hector, to be honest, I wasn't nervous, but I was when I saw all those instruments, drawing blood and doing all sorts of tests."
"Don't be afraid, I'm here." Hector took her by the shoulders and said softly.
A few moments later, Sener came out, "Young master, all the young lady's indicators are normal, and she can take the antidote now. However, because of the special ingredients of the drug, we are concerned about adverse reactions after taking it, so we need the young lady to go into the medical room to take the drug, so that we can keep an eye on her body's indicators."
Eloise answered in one breath, "Good."
--
Hector, who was waiting outside, was a little uneasy, he should not have rushed Eloise into taking the antidote, he should have done a few more tests to make sure it was completely harmless.
The ever-steady man kept moving down the corridor, making Thomas, who had trusted Sener unconditionally, tense up along with him.
Thomas advised, "Young master, young lady is lucky, Sener and the others are geniuses in this field too, she will be fine."
With those words, Sener stepped out, his brow still furrowed, not relieved by the fact that he had finished administering the medicine to Eloise.
He stepped forward and addressed Hector respectfully, "Young Master, the young lady's medication has been administered and you will be able to go in and see her in a moment." "How are things now?" Hector asked, staring at the door of the medical room.
"Everything is normal, the temperature and all indicators are stable, but it is only temporary, when the medication takes effect, there may be a high fever." Sener answered truthfully. At that Hector's face instantly hardened.
Sener felt the air pressure around him plummet, knowing full well that the young master was worried about the young lady and not angry with himself, but he was still a little scared.
He quickly said, "It depends on what happens after the young lady takes the medicine, there is no way to predict exactly what will happen, but we have all the possible responses in place." The crowd at the Institute looked solemn and ready, just as Sener had said.
Hector nodded and sauntered into the medical room.
Eloise was in great spirits at the moment and Hector didn't see anything on her face as he stepped forward and took Eloise's hand, "Are you unwell?"
"No, I'm fine now, if Sener hadn't kept me out of bed I'd probably be able to do a couple of laps." Eloise laughed.
"Don't you worry about it, I'm really fine, maybe, in a minute Sener will say I can go home." Seeing Hector's worry, Eloise reassured him again. After the two talked for a while, Eloise became a little sleepy.
Later on, her temperature suddenly rose, and Sener and the fellows, who were standing by in a tight line, rushed forward at once.
"Temperature 39. 1, abnormal heart rate..." one of the researchers quickly reported Eloise's condition.
With each indicator he reported, Hector's face turned a shade darker, and by the time he had finished, his face was already dark and frightening.
Even Sener, with whom he had the most contact, shuddered a little and the pressure increased, not to mention the other researchers.
All of them were under great pressure to analyse Eloise's situation.
Finally Sener could not hold back any longer, "Young master, please trust us, this is normal, we will make the young lady okay."
Hector sulked and didn't say anything.
Sener lowered his head and pleaded, "Young master, go out and rest for a while, please believe us, will you?"
He knew that the young master was just overly worried, but there was really no way, with the young master here, to let the other researchers finish the work at hand successfully. Thomas could see Sener's dilemma, and Hector's ready state to storm off, he hurriedly stopped Hector, "Young master, let's leave it to the professionals to handle professional matters." "We have to trust Sener, the whole Institute and the young lady, she will be able to do it!"
"Young master, let's go out and wait."
...
Hector was still standing still, his eyes unblinking in Eloise's direction.
Finally, Thomas could only grit his teeth, "Sorry, young master."
After saying that, he, together with a few staff members, pulled Hector straight out of the medical room.
