Love Comes To Me -
Chapter 1601: The virus is starting to disappear!
Hector had been in a state of agitation after being pulled out of the medical room.
He was pacing back and forth, wanting to check on Eloise, but knowing full well that this would disturb Sener and the others.
But he couldn't bring himself to wait quietly for the results.
As the minutes ticked by, Hector's state became more and more irritable.
Thomas was a bit worried about him, "Young master, you should rest for a while, young lady has Sener on her side, nothing will happen." "Thomas."
Hector called out in a low voice.
"Young master, I am here, is there anything you want to order?" Thomas asked as he rushed forward.
Hector ordered in a low voice, "Go back and rest, it's been a hard day for you."
"But... young master..." Thomas was a little hesitant.
Given the young master's current state, he really wasn't fit to be left alone.
"I'm fine." Hector said in a deep voice.
He was indeed fine, what was not fine was Eloise, she was still suffering from a fever and so many complications that there was really no way to put anyone at ease. There was nothing Thomas could do but leave.
...
It was an exceptionally long night, and for Hector, it almost seemed like years.
He was alone outside the medical room and did not sleep a wink.
In the medical room, everyone except Eloise stayed awake to avoid any unforeseen circumstances.
It was not until dawn that Sener came out of the room.
Almost immediately, Hector rushed forward, grabbed Sener by the shoulders and asked, "How is Eloise doing?"
"Don't worry, young master. The young lady's condition is now stable, the fever has gone down, and the other indicators are back to normal."
Relieved to hear that Eloise's fever had subsided, Hector turned to Sener and the researchers and said solemnly, "Thank you for your hard work." Everyone smiled with relief, "Young master, we should have done it."
Almeida smiled back, "Young Master, you can go in and see the young lady now, she has just woken up."
Hector nodded his head and then took a big step into the medical room.
As soon as he entered, he saw Eloise's pale face and his heart felt like it was being tightened by an invisible hand.
He stepped forward, his brow furrowed slightly, "Is there anything wrong?"
Eloise shook her head and smiled softly, "It was quite uncomfortable at first, but I'm much better now, I just don't have much strength yet, Sener said to just rest a little longer."
Even after she said that, Hector's frown still didn't lift and Eloise said helplessly, "Don't worry, I'm fine, Sener wouldn't lie to you, and I'm not going to lie to you, I want to be with you and Solomon and Sweety all the time." Hector nodded and stepped forward and embraced her directly, "It's okay."
...
Rogers family.
Hector and Eloise hadn't been home all night and the family were worried.
Solomon, in particular, kept walking around the living room, refusing to go back to his room to rest and insisting on waiting for Mummy and Daddy to return.
The family had no choice but to let him go.
All night, the Rogers family kept the lights on, waiting for news of Eloise.
The next day, at the crack of dawn, Rupert became increasingly worried and got up and said to Hector's parents, "Mum and Dad, my brother hasn't responded all night, I want to go to the Institute." Hector's father nodded, "Okay, let us know if there's anything."
"Good." With that, Rupert prepared to head out to the Institute.
A small figure stepped in front of him, "Uncle, take me with you, I want to see Mummy too, I promise I'll be good!"
"Solomon, be a good boy, will you wait at home for uncle to come back?" Rupert reached out and stroked Solomon's head, reassuring him.
But Solomon didn't want to give up. He looked straight at Rupert and made it clear that he wouldn't let go without him.
Hector's mother, who felt for Solomon, said, "Take him, just protect him."
He had no choice but to take Solomon with him, as even his own mother had said so.
On the way, Solomon was as quiet as if he didn't exist, his lips pursed and his face serious as he looked ahead.
If Solomon hadn't been so young, Rupert would have subconsciously thought that the man sitting next to him was his own brother, and shuddered at the thought.
Soon, the two men arrived at the entrance to the Institute.
As soon as the car stopped, Solomon opened the door very quickly and headed straight for the Institute.
Rupert shook his head at the sight and immediately followed him.
The little one hadn't said a word the whole way because he missed his mummy and daddy so much?
He opened the door and Solomon rushed in, pulling a researcher close and asking, "Where are my daddy and mummy?"
The researcher froze slightly and quickly responded by pointing to where the medical room was.
"Thanks." Solomon politely thanked him and headed straight inside once more.
As soon as he opened the door to the medical room, he was greeted by a husband and wife whispering something, but the two men's words came to a screeching halt as the door was opened. "Solomon? What are you doing here?" Eloise asked, a little surprised.
"It was Uncle Junior who brought me here. Mummy, are you all right now? Is it hard? Does it hurt?" The little one ran over and lay on the edge of the bed, looking worriedly at Eloise's pale face. "Mummy's fine, it's not uncomfortable and it doesn't hurt." Eloise shook her head and answered each of his questions very patiently.
Solomon then put his mind at ease and looked at Eloise seriously, talking to her for a while longer until Rupert reminded him that it was time to go to school, and then he reluctantly left.
After he left, Sener came in and said to Hector, "The antidote the young lady is taking will take effect over the next week, and whether or not it will completely defeat the virus will be carefully observed for the next few days, so the young lady will need to stay at the Institute for the next few days."
"Good."
Hector nodded, "Good work."
When Eloise had to stay at the Institute, Hector naturally followed suit and didn't even go to the office.
Over the next few days, Eloise's spirits got better every day.
Sener ran daily blood tests and after a few days of comparison, he made a very surprising discovery.
"The virus in the young lady's body is starting to be gone!"
