Love Comes To Me
Chapter 174: Each in his own mind

Reeva Lawson smiled as Reeva's mother spoke up again and asked, "So what are you going to do now? Give this recording directly to Hector?"

At those words, Reeva Lawson shook her head; at first, when she heard Agnes Thompson say those words, she did get excited and wanted to tell Hector Rogers what had happened, to let him know how Eloise Thompson really was as a woman so that Hector Rogers would Thompson away.

But now that she has calmed down, Reeva Lawson has to plan properly. Hector Rogers is now in the middle of a fight with Eloise Thompson, and if she exposes the matter directly to Hector Rogers now, the man might not believe it and instead think she is deliberately wronging Eloise Thompson.

Reeva Lawson pondered for a while and suddenly thought about Master Ken's birthday party coming up some time later.

She narrowed her eyes slightly; Hector Rogers might bring Eloise Thompson out then, and with the whole Rogers family and Godbold family at the party, she would have to take advantage of the party to replace a way to expose this. Reeva Lawson couldn't help but smile at the thought of Eloise Thompson being spurned by the entire Rogers family at the time, and perhaps outright kicked out of the party when the time came.

The party was full of high society celebrities and if this came out in front of everyone, Eloise Thompson would not be able to continue her career.

Both Reeva's mother and Reeva's father heard Reeva Lawson's idea and the family was planning how to expose the matter when the time came.

...

On Eloise Thompson's side, after returning home, everything was settled and it was time to report to Grandpa Fletcher.

Grandpa Fletcher hadn't seen Eloise Thompson for several days since arriving at the antique shop, so it was a pleasure to do so.

The two of them chatted as they made coffee: "How was your time abroad? Did you have a good time?"

Thinking of that day on the island made Eloise Thompson look gentle, smiled and said, "It was good, Grandpa Fletcher."

"Just be happy, I thought you'd come back and forget about me, the old man!"

"How can that be, by the way Grandpa Fletcher, what style do you want for your birthday party! I've got quite a lot of time on my hands these days, just so I can plan it for you." Eloise Thompson has only been back in the country for a short while and doesn't have many projects on her plate, so she hasn't been too busy these days.

Grandpa Fletcher smiled, he hadn't expected the young girl to remember this.

"Just do whatever you want, it's not that much trouble."

"That's not right, it has to be grand for your 70th birthday, Grandpa." Eloise Thompson spoke up, holding Grandpa Fletcher's hand and thinking about how to plan the birthday party. She had already planned Solomon's birthday party before, so she had some experience, but one was a child and one was an elderly person, so there were still a lot of differences. At that, Grandpa Fletcher laughed.

"You're saying that quite like my grandson."

"That's your grandson honoring you." Eloise Thompson smiled.

Then there was a chat with the old man about the planning case, and around eight o'clock Eloise Thompson left.

...

Unfortunately, not long after Eloise Thompson had left, Hector Rogers arrived.

"Why didn't you tell me you were coming?" Grandpa Fletcher spoke up.

He should have asked Eloise Thompson to stay a little longer so that they could have met.

Hector Rogers looked at Grandpa Fletcher with some confusion when he heard the man across the table say, "Just the little girl I was telling you about earlier, she just left, if you had been here earlier you probably would have run into her."

At that, the corner of Hector Rogers' mouth twitched and for a moment he was speechless; the old man was still thinking of setting himself up with someone else? He laughed helplessly.

"Grandpa, I'm here today to talk about the birthday banquet, the exact venue and style or whatever, do you have any particular ideas, I'll get someone to plan it tomorrow." Grandpa Fletcher waved his hand and said, "Don't worry about it, I've already asked someone to take care of it, you'd better settle your own life matters early!"

There was a flash of surprise in Hector Rogers' eyes, "You've got someone on it?"

"Yes! I got someone to plan it for me, the little girl."

Hector Rogers frowned slightly when he heard that the other party was the young girl that the old man had been mentioning to himself recently.

"Grandpa, is the other side reliable?"

Hector Rogers was not sure how Grandpa Fletcher could be trusted with such a big job when he had only known the man for a few days.

The old man snorted coldly and said, "If she is unreliable, then there is no one reliable in this world."

I don't know why, but the old man just loves and trusts Eloise Thompson from the bottom of his heart, and although he doesn't know what she is capable of, he is very relieved to leave the birthday planning to Eloise Thompson. Hector Rogers didn't expect Grandpa Fletcher to put so much trust in this girl, unknown to himself, after only a few days, and this little girl had some skills.

"Come all, play a few games of chess with me before you go!" Grandpa Fletcher greeted Hector Rogers, and with that, he held out the chess pieces.

Hector Rogers did not refuse and the two chatted while playing chess.

"I hear you were out of the country the other day?"

"Hmm." Hector Rogers nodded, then spoke again, "Go take care of some business."

The old man gave Hector Rogers a bland look, "Heh, you're the only one trying to fool me! I heard that you like that little girl too, you want to go to her!"

This gossip naturally came from the mouth of Rupert Rogers, who also came to visit the old man a few days ago, saying something about his brother having sailed abroad to chase his wife.

But then again it was fate that Hector Rogers left the country a few days ago, as did Eloise Thompson, and naturally the now-grandfather could not have guessed that Eloise Thompson and the little girl Hector Rogers liked were the same person.

Hector Rogers smiled, "There really is nothing to hide from you Grandpa."

"What kind of woman is it that you like so much?"

He had never seen Hector Rogers do this to anyone since he was a child growing up, and Grandpa Fletcher had thought that Hector Rogers would never like anyone in his life, and that if he did marry, it would probably be at the behest of his family and a marriage with another family.

But I never thought he would be so attached to a woman these days.

While playing chess, Hector Rogers said, "I'll bring her back for you to see on your birthday."

"OK, I'll see what kind of person you've got your eye on then,"

Grandpa Fletcher was not a family man, and if she was really good, he would not have objected to her being with Hector Rogers, but if she was as bad as his daughter said, Grandpa Fletcher would have introduced Eloise Thompson to Hector Rogers that day. Rogers.

Hector Rogers was convinced that his grandfather would have liked Eloise Thompson and was planning to take advantage of the opportunity to introduce the family to Eloise Thompson.

The two men continued to play chess, each with their own thoughts.
