Chapter 183: I can't believe you're going on a blind date!

The kiss lasted for who knows how long, and reason prevailed over impulse.

After an unknown amount of time, Hector Rogers ended the kiss, releasing Eloise Thompson and speaking with a hint of husk in his voice, "You're torturing me!" Then Hector Rogers rushed into the bathroom to take a shower; he wouldn't have touched Eloise Thompson before the wedding, no matter what.

Watching his back, a certain amount of tears crossed the corners of Eloise Thompson's eyes.

That night, Eloise Thompson and Solomon slept in the room and Hector Rogers remained on the sofa.

Linn Dail came over and tapped Eloise Thompson on the shoulder, who was startled and then snapped back to attention.

"That's Mr Hector's car, isn't it? Gee, Eloise, come on tell me you've progressed that far?"

Linn Dail gossiped and asked, Eloise Thompson glanced at her, ignored her and proceeded to walk into the office.

When she didn't want to talk about it, Linn Dail had to bring up other things.

"By the way, Eloise, you're not hurt too badly, are you?"

"It's almost ready."

Taking Eloise Thompson's hand, Linn Dail continued, "By the way, just so you know, Catherine Greaves has been fired, so you won't have to see this eyesore at the office anymore, how's that sound? Are you happy?" At that, Eloise Thompson gave a slight pause.

"Is it because of me?"

"Right!" Linn Dail nodded, "You'd have to be fired for blatantly putting your hands on a colleague!"

Eloise Thompson froze, what Catherine Greaves had done was wrong, but she was a long-time employee of the company, how could she be fired for pleading in front of Layla Davidson?

Sensing Eloise Thompson's confusion, Linn Dail spoke up and explained, "I heard that this had reached the ears of the big boss and that it was the big boss' decision to fire Catherine Greaves. Linn Dail was feeling envious this morning about the love between Eloise Thompson and Hector Rogers, one a powerful and big president and the other ... Eloise, although said to be brilliant, how it feels like two worlds apart. And yet these two are together!!!

How can I put it, Linn Dail just feels like a fairy tale in their love story.

She couldn't have been more envious, but when she heard that Eloise Thompson was going on a blind date, she was so shocked that she sat up from her chair.
