Chapter 201: Good Night, His Girl

Eloise Thompson was so upset and aggrieved that she didn't want to dwell on it, she didn't want to deal with the past.

Hector Rogers stood still and listened to the words, he did not leave, instead under walked up and wrapped his arms around Eloise Thompson and took her into his arms. "Who says we're not of the same world, Eloise Thompson, I don't care one bit about what your past was, I don't know you as you were, only as I see you now." "No matter what happens? I'll be there for you, and we'll face those things together, okay?"

As her ears fell, Eloise Thompson finally fought back tears as Hector Rogers' words utterly crushed her heart...

Over the years, she has faced so many things on her own, and Eloise Thompson has survived them all, that she thought she might just be on her own for the rest of her life. But to my surprise, Hector Rogers showed up.

This man, time and again, helps himself and brings surprises.

After all that had happened today, Eloise Thompson really couldn't help herself, and she didn't break away from Hector Rogers' embrace, leaning on his shoulder and crying as if to let it all out. Hector Rogers didn't say anything either, handing her a paper every now and then and just being quiet with her.

Eloise Thompson cried for a long time as her whole body leaned on him.

It was hard to calm down, Hector Rogers' shirt was already wet from crying and Eloise Thompson couldn't help but be a little embarrassed.

"Sorry about that..." Eloise Thompson spoke a little choked up.

After all that crying, Eloise Thompson felt a little better.

Hector Rogers didn't care what happened to his shirt, he pursed his lips and said, "Don't think about it, get some rest, you'll be out tomorrow, and don't think about what happened before." Eloise Thompson nodded and, after returning to her bed, couldn't sleep.

Hector Rogers went to the bathroom to take care of his clothes and when he came out, he saw Eloise Thompson with her eyes open wondering what she was thinking.

Upon seeing him come out, Eloise Thompson, with a hesitant face, spoke up, "Grandpa Fletcher that ..."

Eloise Thompson felt guilty that Grandpa Fletcher had invited her to the party with great pleasure and she had made a mess of it, and wondered if the old man would be upset.

Hector Rogers knew what was on Eloise Thompson's mind, so he said, "Grandpa just came to see you and didn't blame you, so if you can't, I'll go with you to make amends."

Eloise Thompson nodded and the two chatted for a while longer before she lay in bed and drifted off to sleep, and for some reason, as long as Hector Rogers was around, Eloise Thompson slept soundly. Hector Rogers was sitting on the edge of the bed, and a heart grew soft as he watched the woman's quiet sleeping face.

He tucked Eloise Thompson in and then dropped a soft kiss on her forehead.

Good night, his girl.

The following day, Hector Rogers discharged Eloise Thompson from hospital and she was returned home.

As the car pulled up under the block, Hector Rogers paused, but spoke, "Why don't you come with me to the office?"

After all, after all that happened last night, leaving Eloise Thompson alone was a bit unsettling for Hector Rogers anyhow.

Eloise Thompson smiled, "Don't worry! I've got nothing more to do, so go ahead and get busy!"

"Well, call me if you need anything."

Hector Rogers eventually did not force her, and then left the lower cell to set off for the office.

Eloise Thompson looked at the direction of the car leaving and was in a trance for a moment, not knowing how to face the relationship...

On the Gardner family side, early in the morning, Josh Thompson and Ela Turner came over in a hurry, both having heard that Agnes Thompson had been terrified last night, so they came over to ask what was going on. Agnes Thompson is sitting on the sofa, looking a little worse for wear.

When she heard her father's question, Agnes Thompson rushed to confess.

"Dad, it's not all because of that woman Eloise Thompson, who went crazy and tried to strangle me at the party last night."

Looking back on yesterday's scene, Agnes Thompson is still a little distraught. It's a good thing nothing happened to her and the baby, or she wouldn't give a damn about Eloise Thompson.

Josh Thompson also froze, knowing that Eloise Thompson could not have plainly tried to strangle Eloise Thompson for no reason, there had to be a reason for it.

Agnes Thompson gave a beat and looked at Robbie Gardner with a hint of pleading in her eyes, hoping he wouldn't tell Mum and Dad about what had happened last night.

Robbie Gardner ignored the look in Agnes Thompson's eyes and spoke straight away as if he hadn't seen it.

"Dad and Mum, it's Agnes' fault this time, she tried to spill the beans yesterday in front of the Rogers family people and the Godbold family and Eloise Thompson lost her mind on the spot before she tried to strangle Agnes." Robbie Gardner had a faint look on his face, this was something that Josh Thompson had to know about or there was no telling what Agnes Thompson would get up to later.

When Eloise Thompson was thrown out of her home and signed the transfer of shares, the condition offered at the time was not to talk about that incident.

Josh Thompson was furious when he heard this and questioned Agnes Thompson: "Is it true what Robbie said... Agnes that you tried to tell the story in front of the Rogers family people and the Godbold family people and tell them about it in front of them?"
