Love Comes To Me
Chapter 202: Silently suffering the sweet blast of love

Ela Turner was a little distressed by her own daughter, so she rushed to stand up for her daughter.

"It's not Agnes' fault! It wouldn't have happened if Eloise Thompson hadn't done that kind of shit, and besides, it's something that someone with a heart would have found out sooner or later if they wanted to, it was only a verbal agreement in the first place, what could Eloise Thompson have done to us if we'd really spoken up."

"That's enough, I won't let you off the hook if this matter is mentioned again."

Josh Thompson left in a huff and Ela Turner looked anxious.

"Well, Agnes, listen to your father, never mention this matter in front of outsiders again, take good care of your health, and I'll do more persuading on your father's side."

Having said that, Ela Turner hurriedly followed in the footsteps of Josh Thompson.

After the two men left, Robbie Gardner went to the study.

Agnes Thompson, who had also entered the study after a moment's reprieve on the sofa, tugged at Robbie Gardner's hand next to him and spoke in a whisper, "Robbie, are you still angry?"

Robbie Gardner had been cold to himself since returning from the hospital, and had just given the story away at his father, knowing full well that he would yell at him when he found out about it. Robbie Gardner looked at the papers in his hands ignoring Agnes Thompson.

Agnes Thompson was so angry at him for putting herself down and admitting she was wrong that she now wondered if Robbie Gardner would have asked for a divorce if she hadn't had a baby!

The Robbie Gardner of old was clearly not like this, but since the advent of Eloise Thompson, a woman who seems to have slowly changed.

Yesterday he was defending Eloise Thompson at the party, and the more he thought about Agnes Thompson the more he became angry, so he spoke up and questioned, "Robbie, do you still have that woman Eloise Thompson in your heart, and you are angry because I tried to make a fool of her?"

Agnes Thompson is really getting suspicious now that Robbie Gardner doesn't like himself and has rekindled his old flame for Eloise Thompson.

"Agnes Thompson, do you know what you're talking about?" There was a hint of impatience in Robbie Gardner's tone.

Agnes Thompson sneered, "Am I wrong? Why else would you have stopped me at the party yesterday and not let me tell you about it? You're protecting her, you still have her in mind. I don't need you to worry about me or the baby in my belly."

Robbie Gardner felt that Agnes Thompson was becoming more and more unreasonable and wanted to argue with her but was afraid of hurting the baby in her belly, so she slammed the door.

Agnes Thompson became increasingly angry at his actions and swept all the papers off the table.

"Ah, ah, ah! Eloise Thompson, you bitch."

Agnes Thompson couldn't have been more upset about not being able to get things off her chest last night.

She could not tell the Rogers family what had happened, or her father would not let her go.

Agnes Thompson gritted her teeth, but on second thought, Reeva Lawson already knew about it anyway, and even if she didn't say anything, Reeva Lawson would certainly not let it go.

A slight smile of triumph curled the corners of her mouth at the thought.

Agnes Thompson believes that sooner or later Eloise Thompson will have nothing left to lose, and that she will pay back what she has suffered today.

...

Over here, after Eloise Thompson had a day off at home, Hector Rogers came in later that evening, bringing Solomon with him.

Between them Solomon was holding a bouquet of carnations, which looked fresh and must have been bought fresh from the florist.

Solomon was, to say the least, terrified last night and is still a little wary of looking at Eloise Thompson today.

Eloise Thompson smiled as she picked her up and inquired in a soft voice, "Is this flower for Auntie Eloise from Solomon?"

The familiar voice and familiar embrace made Solomon feel very close, and the little one instantly forgot about last night and smiled as he spoke, "Yes! Little Uncle said Auntie Eloise was sick, so Solomon bought a bouquet of flowers for Auntie Eloise, hoping Auntie Eloise would get better soon."

At this, Eloise Thompson smiled, she felt guilty for letting Solomon see her last night, but luckily the little man had no barriers against her.

As soon as she walked through the door, Eloise Thompson found a vase to put the flowers in, the pale pink carnations adding a touch of charm to the living room.

"Thank you Solomon, the flowers you sent were beautiful and Auntie Eloise loved them."

At that, Solomon was happy and smiled sweetly, "Auntie Eloise likes it just fine!"

Hector Rogers looked at the two men, a faint smile on his face as well, and then spoke, "Go and get ready, I'll take you to Grandpa."

Eloise Thompson paused and didn't refuse, then went to her room to change.

This time it was not an antique shop, but the villa where Grandpa Fletcher lived.

The car made its way to the entrance of the villa and once out of the car, Hector Rogers walked straight in, taking Eloise Thompson by the hand.

Eloise Thompson subconsciously tried to break free, but Hector Rogers held on so tightly that Eloise Thompson simply didn't break free and the two walked in side by side. Seeing this, a smile flashed in Hector Rogers' eyes.

Solomon on the side: "..."

Silently suffering from the sweet blast of love.

Upon entering the living room, Grandpa Fletcher stood up to greet the trio as soon as he saw them.

"Eloise, you're here, how are you? Is everything all right with your health? Is there anything else wrong with you? Let Grandpa have a look."

Grandpa Fletcher's concern made Eloise Thompson feel Agnes in her heart and even more guilty at the same time.

"Grandpa Fletcher, I'm fine now, I'm so sorry to have worried you by making such a mess of the party last night."

Grandpa Fletcher didn't care what kind of party it was, the main thing was Eloise Thompson.

"No need to apologise, you're fine, it's all Grandpa's fault for not looking after you properly."

As he spoke, the old man led Eloise Thompson to a seat on the sofa and a few more words were exchanged before Grandpa Fletcher ordered the butler to start dinner and the three stayed at the cottage to eat. There was a lot of laughing and joking around and the guys were like family, especially Solomon, who was all over Eloise Thompson.

"Auntie Eloise, the fish you eat more of, the fish tones your body so that you get well quickly."

Eloise Thompson smiled and said, "Thank you Solomon."

Grandpa Fletcher remembers a few months ago, before Eloise Thompson came along, when Solomon didn't say a word at dinner parties, let alone serve food.

Grandpa Fletcher is happy to see his great-grandson become so cheerful and lively.

But it's also Eloise Thompson who is delightful, and Grandpa Fletcher is very much on board with her being with Hector Rogers.
