Chapter 205: Eloise Thompson in a car accident

Solomon was led by Rupert Rogers today and after Eloise Thompson got off work, Hector Rogers came over to pick her up and the two had a long day out, eating, shopping and watching movies, like a normal young couple. Despite doing the usual things, Eloise Thompson feels happy in a way that she never has before.

By twelve o'clock it was time to go home, but Eloise Thompson was hungry so she offered to have a snack before heading back.

It was a roadside barbecue, and Eloise Thompson was very happy to have Mr Hector's kebabs with her.

"Hector Rogers, have you ever eaten one of these before?"

Hector Rogers shook his head.

Hearing that it was his first time here, Eloise Thompson smiled even more, "So why would you want to come over?"

Hector Rogers took a sip of water and spoke nonchalantly, "For being there for you."

At that, Eloise Thompson's heart beat a little faster, how this man is teasing all the time! She could only eat to hide her panic.

A faint smile flashed across Hector Rogers' face.

After eating and drinking, Hector Rogers paid the bill and the two strolled home holding hands. Eloise Thompson, apart from being a little shy, did not refuse Hector Rogers' touching, such as holding hands and kissing, and sometimes responded to him.

Over the past few days Eloise Thompson has figured out that if we are going to be separated in the future, then why not take the time to spend together and make memories for both of us while we are not.

With that in mind, Eloise Thompson was about to say something when the silence was broken by the ringing of a mobile phone - it was Hector Rogers' phone - and when it was taken out, only Reeva Lawson's name flashed on the screen. Hector Rogers paused and subconsciously glanced at Eloise Thompson.

"Pick it up! What if there's something important?" Eloise Thompson spoke up.

Hector Rogers wasn't going to answer, after all it was so late, but hearing Eloise Thompson say so, he ended up picking up the phone and the voice of a waiter came from the other side.

"Excuse me, this gentleman, are you a friend of the owner of the phone? This young lady is drunk in our bar, could you please come and pick her up?"

At that, Hector Rogers frowned slightly, pursed his lips and said, "Yes, I understand."

He asked for the address of the bar and hung up the phone.

Hector Rogers had told Eloise Thompson everything and, fearing that Eloise Thompson might mind, was going to ask his assistant to pick up Reeva Lawson, but then, all he heard was the man on the side saying, "Let's go there together! It's not far from the bar, and it's not a good idea for Reeva Lawson to wait in the bar alone at this late hour."

Eloise Thompson doesn't like Reeva Lawson after all, but she doesn't mind. Eloise Thompson knows how Hector Rogers feels about her and that the pregnancy test at the hospital was a misunderstanding and there is nothing between Reeva Lawson and him.

Besides, Eloise Thompson didn't want anything to happen to Reeva Lawson, after all, she was the daughter of a family friend of Hector Rogers, and it wouldn't be good to stand by and do nothing.

Hector Rogers nodded and the two set off for the bar.

On arrival at the bar, Reeva Lawson was waiting at the curb by the entrance, and seeing Hector Rogers arriving, she automatically ignored Eloise Thompson on the sidelines. "Hector, you're here, I knew it, you still care about me."

Reeva Lawson spoke up, and if he didn't care about her, he certainly wouldn't have come over so late again.

Hector Rogers spoke with a slight frown, "Come on, I'll take you home."

Reeva Lawson, now drunk as a whole, used her alcoholic energy to just keep talking, "Hector, you know what? I like you so much, I really like you? Why can't you just like me? I'm better than that Eloise Thompson woman, Hector, will you stay with me? I'll change everything you don't like."

"Hector, leave Eloise Thompson will you? I really like you more than she does, there is no one in the world who likes you more than I do, Hector, you really don't fit together, I'm the one who loves you the most, you don't know how hard I've been working for you all these years."

Reeva Lawson was almost hysterical, she really loved this man beyond measure, she really couldn't live without him ...

Hector Rogers cringed as he listened.

Eloise Thompson didn't react too badly, she knew how much Reeva Lawson loved Hector Rogers, but how could she not, she loved him too, to the point of no return, and in the world of love, no one lets go easily, not Reeva Lawson, not even herself.

"You're drunk, come on, let's go home first." Hector Rogers helped Reeva Lawson.

Reeva Lawson was wobbly and Eloise Thompson, fearing she might fall, tried to help her.

Reeva Lawson actually saw Eloise Thompson following her, but just tried to ignore it... this woman, why is she with Hector Rogers, why is she here, is she here to see herself laugh?

She was the one who took everything that belonged to her, and looking at Eloise Thompson made Reeva Lawson furious.

"Don't touch me!" With that said, Reeva Lawson shook off Eloise Thompson's hand and pushed her away as soon as she could.

It was the top of the road they were standing on, Eloise Thompson was wearing high heels and the whole thing was unguarded, and after being pushed out, a car came speeding down the road.

Eloise Thompson's pupils flinched and her face turned white as the blinding headlights thought of her ...

Hector Rogers' face changed just as dramatically and his entire body let go of Reeva Lawson to rush out, but it was too late...

Seeing that the car was about to crash into her, Eloise Thompson reacted particularly quickly and the driver was not slow to react either, hastily steering the car.

By a mere second, in a moment of crisis, the car missed Eloise Thompson, but still grazed her body, and Eloise Thompson fell to the ground and rolled several times, hitting her head on the road and ending up in a coma. "Eloise Thompson," Hector Rogers called out.

In that moment, Hector Rogers' heart seemed to stop beating, and for the first time in his 20 years of life, he felt so scared.

The atmosphere around them seemed like death as Hector Rogers defiantly ran over and took Eloise Thompson into his arms.

"Eloise Thompson, Eloise Thompson," he opened his mouth to call out his name.

Eloise Thompson was unconscious and Hector Rogers rushed to pick him up and take him to hospital.

In the light of the street lamp, you can vaguely make out that his whole hand is shaking a little.

Reeva Lawson rose to her feet in a daze, and she was quite sober, and when she realised what she had done, Reeva Lawson's face went pale.

Did the car hit Eloise Thompson? Is she okay? ...

Her heart was in Reeva Lawson's throat, and she stood frozen and trembling, terrified, unsure of what to do.
