Love Comes To Me
Chapter 206: We'll die together

All the way there, Hector Rogers' face was anxious, he never thought that this would happen.

What if something had happened to Eloise Thompson? What if she doesn't wake up? ... Hector Rogers regrets that he should never have brought Eloise Thompson here, or this wouldn't have happened.

The car arrived at the hospital as fast as it could, and on the way, Hector Rogers ran more red lights than he knew how many, and upon arriving at the hospital, stepped out of the car with Eloise Thompson in his arms. Eloise Thompson was taken to the doctor as Hector Rogers stood waiting in the doorway.

After some examination, the doctor came out and reported, "Mr. Ken, don't worry, Miss Eloise has suffered a slight concussion and multiple bruises, but there is nothing serious about her body, she has been sent to the general ward and will wake up tomorrow."

At these words, Hector Rogers leaned against the wall and closed his eyes as he sighed with relief, his heart finally dropping.

Luckily she was nothing serious.

Eloise Thompson, thank you, for surviving.

...

About an hour later, the police and the driver of the car came over.

"This gentleman, I'm really sorry, I didn't mean to do it, I really didn't expect that lady to suddenly appear on the road, I'm really sorry, I'm willing to take full responsibility for the medical expenses." The perpetrator apologised sincerely. Hector Rogers did not hold her responsible and spoke lightly, "No, the person is fine, thank you for steering in time, we will not pursue this matter."

Ultimately, the blame lies with Reeva Lawson, and if she had, Eloise Thompson would not have been pushed to the side of the road.

The perpetrator thanked Hector Rogers profusely and left, as did the police after a brief look at the situation.

Hector Rogers returned to the ward to continue to guard Eloise Thompson, but a short time later Solomon and Rupert Rogers, who had heard about the incident, arrived.

When he heard about Eloise Thompson's accident, Solomon was so worried that he rushed to the hospital with Rupert Rogers, who was so frightened that he burst into tears when he saw Eloise Thompson unconscious on an IV. "Daddy, Uncle Junior, what's happening to Auntie Eloise? Will she never wake up again?"

There's so much he hasn't done with Auntie Eloise! God knows how sad Solomon is right now!

Rupert Rogers was horrified when he saw Solomon crying and spoke up to soothe him, "Solomon, Auntie Eloise is fine, she'll wake up later, honey, can we stop crying?"

"Really? But Auntie Eloise has so many cuts? She must be in a lot of pain."

Solomon continued to cry, and when Rupert Rogers couldn't get him to do so, it was Hector Rogers himself who finally took over.

"Solomon, listen and stop crying, Auntie Eloise needs to rest quietly so she can get better quickly."

Solomon's sobs eventually subsided and the tears on his face eventually stopped, but the little one's eyes were very red and he was sitting nicely by Eloise Thompson's bed at the moment, looking so miserable that Rupert Rogers looked distraught.

"Brother, how did a good sister-in-law get into a car accident?" Rupert Rogers spoke up and asked.

"It was Reeva Lawson, she had too much to drink and accidentally pushed Eloise into the road."

Hector Rogers gave a general rundown of what happened and Rupert Rogers blew up when he stopped.

"Wow, this woman is so careless! Luckily, nothing happened to my sister-in-law."

If something does happen to Eloise Thompson and the Lawson family and the Rogers family are family friends, it will be difficult to work it out.

"Well, it's getting late, so you take Solomon back first!"

As soon as Solomon heard this, he immediately spoke up and refused.

"No, I'm not going back, I'm going to stay here with Auntie Eloise and watch her wake up."

"Solomon," Hector Rogers called out to him in an open voice.

But Solomon was determined and just wouldn't go.

"Brother, just let him stay here! It's not like you don't know this little guy's nature well, how could he leave."

Hector Rogers nodded reluctantly and after Rupert Rogers left, the two fathers and sons sat on the sidelines guarding Eloise Thompson.

After sitting for a while, Solomon slumped over the edge and drifted off to sleep.

It was only in the early morning that Eloise Thompson slowly woke up, and she moved to realise that it hurt all over and Eloise Thompson couldn't help but stifle a grunt.

Hector Rogers woke up and called for a doctor in a hurry, and Solomon followed slowly.

"Auntie Eloise you're awake? You're finally awake, are you uncomfortable anywhere?"

Eloise Thompson looked at Solomon and froze, then realised that the little man's eyes were swollen and puffy, and that he had been crying last night.

"Don't worry, Auntie Eloise is fine... I'm sorry! Got Solomon worried." Eloise Thompson spoke with a smile.

"It's good that Auntie Eloise is okay."

Hector Rogers was relieved when the doctor came and checked Eloise Thompson's body again and found that the rest of the body was fine, and that the superficial injuries would only take time to heal. After the doctor left, he spoke somewhat apologetically, "I'm sorry, it's my fault for making you hurt."

"How can I blame you for that?" Eloise Thompson smiled.

She herself didn't expect Reeva Lawson to suddenly push her out of the way and, to be honest, Eloise Thompson is still a little distraught that she really thought she had almost died.

Eloise Thompson dreads to think what would happen to her mother at the hospital, to Solomon and to Hector Rogers if she died... She's only just starting to try and deal with this relationship!

Thankfully, thankfully, God did not let her die, and at this point Eloise Thompson was feeling very lucky.

Hector Rogers still felt guilty inside, blaming himself for not protecting Eloise Thompson, but he didn't say anything else and proceeded to leave the ward to get breakfast.

Solomon just stayed with Eloise Thompson.

"Auntie Eloise, you must be in a lot of pain right now?" Solomon asked heartily, speaking up.

Eloise Thompson smiled and shook her head.

"Auntie Eloise, Solomon will protect you from all harm when he grows up."

A smile flashed across Eloise Thompson's face as she listened to the little man's words and felt Agnes' in her heart.

...

Here, Reeva Lawson returned home, terrified and shaking as she recalled the scene, wishing she had been drunk and hallucinating.

Eloise Thompson had a car accident and pushed herself.

If anything happens to her will Hector Rogers hate her for life and will he put himself in jail ...

Reeva Lawson curled up against the sofa, she was now afraid to even go to the hospital to replace out Eloise Thompson's condition, she was really scared...

When Reeva's mother got up for a drink of water early the next morning, she was horrified to see a pale Reeva Lawson lying on the sofa.

"Reeva, Reeva, what's wrong with you?"

At this point Reeva Lawson's dreams were all about Eloise Thompson's car accident. She dreamed that Eloise Thompson was dead and would never wake up, and that Hector Rogers had a sullen look on his face and was going to drag her to be buried with him.
