Love Comes To Me
Chapter 238: The business case was moved

No sooner had they left than Reeva Lawson arrived on their heels.

Thomas Ward saw Reeva Lawson coming and said lightly, "Miss Reeva, we Mr Hector is out for dinner."

Anyone could see that Reeva Lawson liked Hector Rogers, so Thomas Ward did not mention Eloise Thompson to avoid any trouble. Reeva Lawson was busy asking, "He rarely goes out to dinner this early, where is this going?"

"Where Mr Hector goes, how would I, a minor assistant, know." Thomas Ward doesn't reveal Hector Rogers' whereabouts lightly.

Reeva Lawson remained, refusing to leave, and actually stormed into the president's office undeterred.

She believed Thomas Ward when she saw how empty it was inside.

"Miss Reeva if you need anything, I can pass it on." Thomas Ward said politely.

"No, I'll just wait here." She knew for sure that Hector Rogers would be back.

Thomas Ward was about to ask Reeva Lawson to wait in the conference room, but seeing that she was already inside, he couldn't say anything more.

He had to go out and instruct Lisa, the new secretary, "Miss Reeva likes her coffee stronger, so remember to send in a cup."

Lisa came after Reeva Lawson had left, so she had no idea who Reeva Lawson was.

She asked curiously, "Mr Thomas, that Miss Reeva in there, who was able to brave Mr Hector's office, she wouldn't be Mr Hector's lover, would she?" "Don't say things like that in the future." Thomas Ward reprimanded seriously, "And no, she has no such relationship with Mr Hector."

Lisa nodded, and without further questioning, turned and went into the pantry.

Reeva Lawson was sitting bored on the sofa when she brought in the coffee.

"You get out!"

Reeva Lawson couldn't help but frown when she saw Lisa still dumbfounded in front of her.

Lisa responded to this and backed away.

At this point, she was alone in the room and she looked around only to see a file stacked on Hector Rogers' desk.

She shook her head and sighed, this new secretary was not as attentive as she was in the end.

How is it reasonable to think that after being here for so long, you still don't even know Hector Rogers' habits of laying out his papers?

She stood up and was just about to tidy up when she saw the familiar words on the cover and she was instantly startled.

Reeva Lawson subconsciously looked back to see that no one had come in and she immediately flipped through this information.

But after flipping through a page, she was able to identify the material as Eloise Thompson's plot.

She flipped through it quickly, Eloise Thompson was pretty good.

This is a unique idea that, if implemented, will definitely be eye-catching enough.

Reeva Lawson's heart beat faster as a thought suddenly popped into the front of her head.

She fished out her mobile phone and photographed Eloise Thompson's plots one by one.

Again, fearing that Eloise Thompson and Hector Rogers might return and bump into them, and not daring to linger, she grabbed her things and pulled the door open in a panic. Thomas Ward happened to come by and was surprised to see her leaving so soon and asked, "Isn't Miss Reeva waiting for Mr Hector?"

"Oh, I've got a company emergency, so I'll be off." Before leaving, Reeva Lawson seemed uneasy and made a point of saying, "If Mr Hector comes back, there's no need to tell him I was here." Thomas Ward thought she was really up to something and didn't think much of it, watching Reeva Lawson walk into the lift.

A little later, Eloise Thompson and Hector Rogers took Solomon back to the president's office.

"Just give me a moment, I'll take care of this and send you back." Hector Rogers walked straight towards his desk.

Eloise Thompson followed suit, and was just about to pick up her planner when she felt as if it had been tampered with.

But no one has ever dared to enter Hector Rogers' office, let alone rummage through the files, and Eloise Thompson thought she was being paranoid and didn't think any more of it. She placed her plan with the utmost solemnity and sealed it up in a file bag.

"Auntie Eloise, get your ass over here." Solomon waved towards her.

Eloise Thompson put the bag down and walked over to her, Solomon put his arm around her and shook it, pouting, "I want Auntie Eloise to do another paste-up with me!" "Yeah, what does Solomon want to paint?"

Eloise Thompson touched the back of Solomon's hand and asked him in a soft whisper.

Solomon pointed to her, then to himself, and finally to Hector Rogers, and said in a milky voice, "Just draw our family!"

The two soon got stuck into pasting the painting and by the time Hector Rogers had finished, they were almost done.

"I'll walk you back." Hector Rogers offered to take the file bags for Eloise Thompson and led them out of the office.

When they arrived at the bottom of Eloise Thompson's apartment building, Solomon was anxious to get out of the car, but he stopped Solomon.

During this time, Eloise Thompson was so busy that she didn't get any rest, and Hector Rogers was so distressed by this that he said to Solomon, "Good boy Solomon, come back with Daddy today and we'll come back for Auntie Eloise when she's done with her work."

Solomon beamed, originally reluctant, but looked at Eloise Thompson's tired face and had to sit back in resignation.

The following day.

Owen Planners.

The curators came together and speculated as to why Reeva Lawson looked so out of sorts today.

These days, Reeva Lawson is the first person to come to the planning department when she arrives at the office to check on progress, but today was the deadline. And she didn't come. Someone ventured to Reeva Lawson's doorstep to poke around, but to no avail.

It wasn't long before Reeva Lawson came out of the office on her own initiative, with a freshly prepared proposal in hand.

She asked her assistant to take a few copies and circulate them to everyone in the planning department.

When the staff in the planning department looked at it, many of them were amazed and could not help but show their appreciation.

They didn't realise that Reeva Lawson had such strong planning skills.

There was even an employee who took the initiative to admit his earlier fault, "Reeva, I'm really sorry, we were too arrogant before, I will be sure to ask you for advice in the future." Reeva Lawson had a look of triumph in her eyes and was relieved that the proposal had been approved by so many people, proving that it was really high quality.

She pretended to be modest, "No harm done, in fact it's me who should say sorry, I should have taken the lead long ago as the person in charge of this project." "Reeva, you are too modest."

Over time, Reeva Lawson's position in the planning department gradually rose.

"Well, you all get busy, I have some follow-ups to wrap up." With that, Reeva Lawson's mouth curled into a smug smile and she turned to return to her office. She would like to see how Eloise Thompson would behave tomorrow at the tender meeting when she replaces out that the plan has been bumped.
