Love Comes To Me -
Chapter 239: Plagiarism Plagiarism
Reeva Lawson had gotten such a perfect plan without any effort, and by the end of the night, she was sleeping soundly.
In the blink of an eye, it was time for the Exley Corporation proposal to go out to tender.
Eloise Thompson was up early.
Although she was confident in her plan, it did not mean that, for sure, their company would be able to take the advertising rights.
She deliberately chose a very sophisticated suit from her wardrobe and changed into it, and carefully applied her make-up.
Eloise Thompson stood in front of the mirror, holding the proposal she had worked so hard on for nights.
She had just come downstairs and was surprised to see Layla Davidson.
Layla Davidson, seeing her frozen, was busy urging, "What? So surprised to see me that I, as your top boss, can't come and pick you up myself?" Eloise Thompson smiled and the nervousness she felt before leaving the house dissipated.
As the two got into the car, Layla Davidson drove steadily, but it was vaguely clear that she was a little nervous.
Eloise Thompson gawked curiously for a long time; the Layla Davidson she knew was a very calm person, how could she be this nervous at times?
Perhaps because she had been staring at her for too long, Layla Davidson suddenly said with a sidelong glance, "This partnership is very important to us. If we can reach a partnership, then our company will have made a quantum leap in the industry."
Eloise Thompson understood what Layla Davidson wanted and was earnest in her assurance, "We're going to make it work!"
Layla Davidson has seen her planner and is confident, "I believe we can do it too."
By the time they arrived at the Exley Corporation meeting room, they saw many of the industry's leading planning firms.
Layla Davidson couldn't help but be a little worried again, and Eloise Thompson couldn't help but be nervous.
Not long after, Egbert Chumley noticed her and Layla Davidson coming over and he offered to come over and say hello.
"Eloise, we're going to be rivals later on, oh, you'll have to be merciful." Egbert Chumley said with a smile.
As soon as Eloise Thompson saw Egbert Chumley, some of the emotion washed away from her heart and she instantly became confident again, "Of course I ..." she paused for a moment deliberately. "Is not going to be merciful." Egbert Chumley knew she was joking and smiled lightly, "So it looks like I'll have to tell our team to be a bit more careful."
"If Alumni loses, I hope I won't be held against me!" Eloise Thompson laughed with him for a while and relaxed for a long time.
And she didn't even notice that Reeva Lawson, sitting not far from her, was watching her with a sarcastic smirk the whole time.
Kevin arrived shortly afterwards and was joined by several executives from Exley Corporation.
As Kevin is the person in charge of this project, he naturally also acts as the presenter of this tender meeting.
He stood on the stage, made some remarks, and then announced that this tender, would now begin.
Within this meeting room, there is a display table with a good view and a number of planning companies have gone up to present their proposals in succession. Although the quality is high, it doesn't seem to be anything special.
You could tell by the look on Kevin's face that he was dissatisfied.
And next, it was the turn of Egbert Chumley's company.
Egbert Chumley gave a slight nod to their team leader, who took to the stage to present.
It has to be said that Egbert Chumley's planning skills are indeed, by far, the strongest and most distinctive it seems.
Kevin gave his first look of satisfaction and Eloise Thompson noted that during this time Kevin exchanged glances with the rest of the senior staff.
Soon, it was Reeva Lawson's turn.
Reeva Lawson stood up, straightened her dress and walked towards the display table without forgetting to glance back at Eloise Thompson.
That glance was so uncomfortable to look at that Eloise Thompson's eyelids fluttered lightly and she always felt a gradual unease building up inside her. When Reeva Lawson's proposal appeared on the display, Eloise Thompson was confused for a moment.
How can Reeva Lawson's curatorial mindset be the same as hers?
Perhaps it was just a coincidence, she thought, trying to suppress her uneasy heart and forcing herself to continue reading.
But the further Reeva Lawson went down the display, the more Eloise Thompson couldn't be fazed.
Her face was as bad as it could be, and she bit her lip tightly without uttering a word, her ink-black eyes, dead set on the display.
After looking at it for a while, Layla Davidson also noticed the problem, how Reeva Lawson's planning scheme was exactly the same as theirs.
Even if there are similarities and differences, there should not be the slightest difference in each step.
Layla Davidson also turned instantly silly white and was busy asking Eloise Thompson, "What's going on?"
Eloise Thompson composed herself and watched Reeva Lawson's presentation.
She also wanted to know what was going on. Now it seemed that there was only one possibility. That's...
Her planning scheme, which was plagiarised and copied by Reeva Lawson.
This thought flashed through her mind, and she could not restrain her anger at once, and brushed herself off, so that for a moment the eyes of everyone in the parlour fell on her. Layla Davidson tugged at her coat, "Eloise, what are you doing? Sit down now."
And Reeva Lawson, who had finished presenting her proposal, sneered and pressed Eloise Thompson; "Is it possible that Miss Eloise has something against our planning proposal?" Eloise Thompson was just about to speak when Reeva Lawson, her breathing rattled, hurriedly pre-empted, "Since Miss Eloise has an opinion, why don't you show us your planning proposal?" On the spot, a number of people echoed the sentiment and even Kevin said, "Let's see then, what Miss Eloise has shown us."
Eloise Thompson gritted her teeth hard, and her hands clenched the file in her hands.
She was resigned to the fact that the fruits of her labour had just become someone else's.
What's more, this man was provoking so rampantly in front of her at this time.
She took a deep breath, her gaze gradually becoming firm as she said in a quiet voice, "Naturally you can see it, we, the JS Group, are supposed to be here for this bid."
When she finished, her eyes glared icily at Reeva Lawson, who looked like she was waiting to see a good show.
Reeva Lawson glared back defiantly, saying with contempt, "What is Miss Eloise waiting for, are you going to keep wasting everyone's time?"
"No, before I show it, I just have a very important question I want to ask Miss Reeva," she asked, raising her voice, "Can Miss Reeva say a little bit about what your philosophy is for this programme?"
