Love Comes To Me -
Chapter 251: He was too afraid of losing her
Reeva Lawson now saw Hector Rogers rushing down, before snapping out of it.
She was terrified and grabbed Magen Gillim's arm helplessly, "What should I do? I didn't want her to die..."
With anxiety and fear in his heart, Magen Gillim could only persuade her a few times before rushing back to the camp with her.
Along the way, the two men stumbled and fell in a hurry, and by the time they hurried back to camp, they were in a very bad way.
The others who had gone out to look for them had returned.
They were all greatly relieved to see Reeva Lawson back safe and sound.
As long as people are okay.
Before Magen Gillim could approach, he said with unusual urgency, "No, something's wrong! Miss Eloise has fallen down the hill and Mr Hector has chased her down." "What?!"
This is tantamount to bad news.
This group of gentry, who had never seen such a great misfortune, were all stunned for a moment.
Only to hear Magen Gillim say from somewhere, "Let's hurry up and replace the rope, it should come in handy."
What he wanted was to get a few fit ones, tie on a rope and look down the slope.
There was so much commotion outside that Rupert Rogers came out with Solomon.
Magen Gillim rushed to tell the news of Eloise Thompson's fall, again.
Solomon burst into tears and Rupert Rogers, his eyes red with anger, cursed: "Fuck! What's going on? How can a man fall when he's fine?"
Magen Gillim glanced at Reeva Lawson, not daring to speak the truth.
He and Reeva Lawson, both of whom were silent, and the others couldn't be bothered to ask them again.
Rupert Rogers was in such a hurry that he was already limping with Solomon, heading in the direction of the slope.
Solomon is crying so hard he's about to burst into tears, "Little Uncle, is Mummy going to die? Solomon doesn't want Mummy to die..."
"No, Solomon, your daddy has gone to save your mummy, you have to trust your daddy." Distraught, Rupert Rogers reassured Solomon as he couldn't help but quicken his pace. The pain in his feet was excruciating and he couldn't care less, he just wanted to get to the place where it happened.
Magen Gillim reacted long ago and led the way.
Boden Fay also took it upon himself to go to Rupert Rogers' side and assisted him forward, "Mr Rupert, take it easy, nothing will happen."
Rupert Rogers tried to calm himself down, yes, he couldn't be in a hurry, he had to think of a way to save the day.
...
Eloise Thompson was caught off guard by Reeva Lawson and fell straight down the slope.
Rolling along and scraping his body with many cuts.
She was so sore that she went numb, and several times she tried desperately to hold on to something, but, surrounded by thorns, or rocks, there was nothing to latch on to. Almost desperate, she always gave up on surviving, but not until finally, she fell heavily.
He even hit his head directly on the bottom stone and passed out.
A pool of bright red blood soon flowed from beneath her head. Hector Rogers shouted her name as he ran down the hill in a hurry.
He was trapped in the pitch black and ran down almost in the dark.
On the way, he missed the road and fell, and when he looked down, he saw pieces of Eloise Thompson's scratched clothes.
His eyes lit up and it looked like he was right, Eloise Thompson had rolled down from here.
Hector Rogers followed the scraps of clothing and searched for them.
His heart was racing with anxiety, and he prayed that nothing must happen to her!
In his hand, the pieces of clothing were clutched in a deadly grip, and a rage seemed to be pressing in his chest.
Hector Rogers was again shaken and frightened.
He couldn't help but quicken his pace, and the further he went, the more fearful he became, too afraid of losing Eloise Thompson. With his chest clogged almost to the point of breath, he finally saw Eloise Thompson.
"Eloise ...," he called her name and rushed over.
When he rushed to her, he found her lying soundlessly, covered in wounds and her clothes torn beyond recognition.
Hector Rogers, always calm and collected, was trembling at his fingertips at this moment.
He took off the coat he was wearing and wrapped Eloise Thompson up tightly in his arms.
A drop of blood, so cold it dripped onto his arm, and Hector Rogers shuddered.
He looked down and saw a pool of blood on the floor, and then saw the back of Eloise Thompson's head still bleeding. His heart was stopping!
No ...
This will never work, the bleeding won't stop.
"Eloise, you have to hold on."
Hector Rogers said it over and over again, just hoping that nothing would happen to Eloise Thompson.
He would take her and hurry up.
Hector Rogers put Eloise Thompson on his back and trudged up the hill.
The temperature of her body, getting colder and colder. The breath at the tip of her nose, too, grew fainter.
For almost a few moments, Hector Rogers thought she was going to die.
Blaming himself and hating himself even more, he suppressed his grief and almost pleaded, "Eloise... you can't die, I beg you, you must hold on." The slope is already thorny and the way down, all so difficult.
Not to mention the fact that it was upwards, and with a man who was badly injured.
Hector Rogers gritted his teeth and stumbled on his feet several times, and the pair managed to slide down some more.
Most of an hour passed before he took her and climbed halfway up.
But Eloise Thompson was already cold and her breath was so weak that she could barely feel it.
"Found it ..."
At the crucial moment, Magen Gillim showed up with the men.
Several of them, all of them with ropes tied around their waists, perked up at the sight of them.
Magen Gillim commanded and several men combined their efforts, tying Hector Rogers and Eloise Thompson together on the ropes.
They even dragged Hector Rogers behind them and it was another long time before they managed to get back up the hill.
Rupert Rogers had been waiting up there for a long time and as soon as he saw the two men covered in blood, he exclaimed, "Brother, you're hurt?"
"It's not me, it's Eloise, damn it, did you ambulance call?" Hector Rogers held Eloise Thompson close, one hand shaking even more as he covered her wound. Solomon was stunned at first and now reacts by crying his heart out.
He cried harder and harder especially when he touched the blood on Eloise Thompson.
Hector Rogers, at this point, couldn't care less about Solomon, who was crying in pain, and simply asked grumpily, "When will the ambulance be here?"
Rupert Rogers picks up a phone and curses up.
"Brother, the ambulance can't drive up and the paramedics need to come up ..." Hector Rogers was already standing up with Eloise Thompson in his arms before Rupert Rogers could finish the latter part of his sentence. Hector Rogers didn't even have time to think as he kept going down with a stop on his feet.
"Hector, wait for me, I'll come with you."
Reeva Lawson, who also had no idea where she got the speed, was right behind Hector Rogers.
But Hector Rogers had eyes only for Eloise Thompson, where else could he see Reeva Lawson.
He ran faster, fearing that a step slower would put Eloise Thompson in more danger.
"Eloise, we're almost there, you must hold on ..." Hector Rogers felt the person in his arms, the temperature on his body dropping to a low point.
