Love Comes To Me -
Chapter 250: You're still a real pest
Eloise Thompson remembered where Hector Rogers had gone from and she walked briskly and quickly.
After walking for a while, though, she got further and further away from the camp, even with a torch in her hand.
It was so dark all around that this little bit of light was a pittance.
A gust of wind, blowing over, poured into the back of her neck and she couldn't help but shiver.
Her heart was pounding even more, she was too frightened by the darkness of the night road and the quietness of the surroundings.
Hector Rogers Where the hell is he?
Eloise Thompson's heart beats faster and faster, and her steps, too, get faster and faster.
With the road in front of her, darker, she glanced back in the direction of the camp and thought to herself that having come this far, I don't think Hector Rogers would have looked this far if he was looking for someone. She simply turned around and tried to keep looking when she suddenly heard a small sound of talking.
Eloise Thompson got a chill on her back and forced herself stiffly towards the place where there was a sound, and walked over to it.
When you get closer, fix your eyes on a man standing in the shadows.
She was so startled that she almost didn't scream.
The man made a silent gesture at her, and it was then that Eloise Thompson recognised it.
I think his name was Magen Gillim.
"Hector, why?" Reeva Lawson's voice suddenly rang out.
Eloise Thompson looked over in confusion, but no one was in sight.
Reeva Lawson started talking again, "Hector, I'm the one who's right for you. what's so great about Eloise Thompson, and what's so bad about me?" "Hector, why can't you just look at me more?"
Reeva Lawson sounded very excited.
Hector Rogers' indifferent voice, followed by impatience, rang out, "Where's all the why? Hurry back, everyone is looking for you."
"No, I'm not going back unless you can give me an explanation." Reeva Lawson growled in exasperation.
"I don't have any feelings for you, Reeva Lawson, I can't help it with Eloise Thompson, there's no way to explain it." A raw word rang out coldly.
Eloise Thompson's heart missed a beat, she didn't think that Hector Rogers would be able to speak with such indifference about love.
"Reeva, I only think of you as a sister of the world, the two of us, there is no possibility. You might as well die while you still can."
"No... I don't want it!" Reeva Lawson's breath hitched, "I'll never give up, you think I'd be willing to not have you?"
With resignation in her eyes, she rushed up and tried to hug Hector Rogers.
Hector Rogers takes a couple of steps backwards and Reeva Lawson pounces.
She was incredulous and even more devastated, "Even when I repeatedly put my pride aside to throw myself at you, you're going to turn a blind eye?"
"I've made it very clear, so don't you dare dwell on it." Hector Rogers was clearly getting impatient.
If it wasn't so dangerous to leave her alone in these mountains now, he would want to get away from her immediately.
The deep boredom was evident in his eyes, and Reeva Lawson's heart ached so much she could hardly breathe.
She asked him, almost holding her breath, word for word, "Hector, Auntie would never have approved of you and Eloise Thompson being together, are you going to mess with Auntie over her?" Hector Rogers has the utmost respect for Matriarch Godbold, something that Reeva Lawson knows all too well, and there is a hint of anticipation in her eyes.
"That's not for you to worry about." Hector Rogers said in a hushed voice, "Let's go."
Reeva Lawson was repeatedly rejected, so she took a hard line and tried to hug Hector Rogers.
Hector Rogers coldly pushed her away, "That's enough, I'm telling you, I only have eyes for Eloise, you're dead."
Eloise Thompson!
Is Eloise Thompson all he knows?
Reeva Lawson was rejected several times and was so upset that she didn't want to humiliate herself again, so she wiped her tears and ran away.
She had only run a few steps when she saw a bewildered Eloise Thompson and Magen Gillim.
Only because, if she wanted to leave, this one was the only way.
Reeva Lawson was furious, she really didn't expect that Eloise Thompson would be hiding in the shadows, watching her joke.
"Eloise Thompson, it's nice to see my jokes, isn't it?"
Eloise Thompson saw her exasperated and explained anxiously, "Don't get me wrong, I'm worried ..."
Before she could finish her sentence, she was interrupted by Reeva Lawson in exasperation, "You heard everything, didn't you? Are you satisfied?" Reeva Lawson glared at Eloise Thompson in exasperation, her inner rage more than ever.
A sinister thought sprang from her mind.
She was going to make Eloise Thompson fall to the floor in a heap.
Reeva Lawson's heart went out to Eloise Thompson and with a grit of her teeth, she rammed into her, "Get out of the way!" "Ah!"
Eloise Thompson was caught unprepared and fell down the slope behind her.
Reeva Lawson covered her mouth in shock; no, she hadn't thought about letting Eloise Thompson die.
How did this happen?
Hector Rogers heard Eloise Thompson's voice and rushed after her, but he pounced and was no longer even visible.
If only he could have reacted faster and gotten out earlier, he wouldn't have ...
But now what? He could only watch as she fell down the slope until she disappeared from his sight.
His heart, as if it had been strangled hard in a flash.
"Eloise..." he called her name in a near hiss.
In his desperation, he didn't care about the danger and made a split-second dash down the slope as well.
Magen Gillim reacted in time to pull him back, "Don't rush, calm down first, there's a cliff down here, it's dangerous for you to go down like that!"
Hector Rogers was stopped, face sunken, glaring at Reeva Lawson, a dark cloud in his beady eyes.
Reeva Lawson had long since been stunned and could only keep sobbing.
She couldn't stop her lips from trembling, and the horrified look in Eloise Thompson's eyes as she fell kept coming back to her mind.
Eloise Thompson isn't going to die just like that, is she?
Shivering, she turned to a hostile Hector Rogers and repeated over and over, "I didn't mean to do it, I didn't mean to do it ..."
Hector Rogers stood up and closed in on a terrified Reeva Lawson.
His eyes, bloodthirsty, were fixed on Reeva Lawson, who had done Eloise Thompson in.
If it wasn't for coming to Reeva Lawson, this wouldn't have happened.
"And you've done a lot of damage." Hector Rogers gritted his teeth and hated to strangle her.
"It's happened, it's important to save lives, let's just call the police and search the mountain, one second later and Miss Eloise will be in more danger." Magen Gillim was still urging, but Hector Rogers simply ignored it. Hector Rogers didn't want to delay for a moment, only to replace Eloise Thompson as soon as possible.
He couldn't even hear what Magen Gillim was saying in his ears and actually subconsciously pushed Magen Gillim away.
Magen Gillim stumbled and was just getting to his feet when he saw that Hector Rogers was already charging down regardless.
It happened so suddenly that he didn't have time to react.
If something happened to even Hector Rogers, they, as a group, would all be left in the lurch.
