Love Comes To Me
Chapter 254: Making up your mind

Reeva's father was shocked, he didn't believe it at all and waved his hand, "No way, our Lawson Group and the Rogers Group have always been good friends, the Rogers Group wouldn't mess around." The assistant looked at Reeva's father with a puzzled expression, hesitating a little, but finally said firmly, "Mr Tristan, the facts are in front of us, it is indeed the Rogers Group."

Reeva's father looked puzzled, could it be that the Rogers Group had sensed that their Lawson Group was in fact a shambles on the inside and not as strong as it once was? So, they are thinking of annexing the Lawson Group?

Damn!

What the hell is Rogers Group up to?

Reeva's father was furious that the Rogers Group was now headed and executed by Hector Rogers.

Hector Rogers' ambition, too, is too big.

He immediately dialed Hector Rogers' number and, as an elder, he made sure to get a statement from him.

At this time, Hector Rogers was at the side of Eloise Thompson.

Eloise Thompson has just woken up, she had a very restless sleep yesterday, always moaning in pain from the headache she unconsciously gets. Moaning. Hector Rogers was relieved to see that she had managed to sleep somewhat soundly.

The call, however, woke Eloise Thompson up.

He didn't even look at who was calling and cut it off the first time.

Eloise Thompson, already tired from her sleep, looked over at Hector Rogers with bloodshot eyes, a million times tired.

"Is there some kind of company emergency? Why aren't you answering your phone?" She didn't want, because of her, Hector Rogers to be held up on business. Hector Rogers ignored it and instead asked her with concern, "How are you feeling?"

Eloise Thompson can't really see anything in front of her eyes, just a blur of everything she sees.

Dry lips and even more ghastly whiteness.

She fought back the pain and asked Rupert Rogers for a glass of water to drink.

Hector Rogers poured water from the side in time and handed it to her.

Eloise Thompson reached for it, but couldn't hold it, her hands were weak and the glass of slightly scalding water poured out onto her quilt.

"Eloise, did you get burned?" Hector Rogers looked a little flustered.

She smiled weakly, "I'm fine."

Hector Rogers got a nurse to help her change to a clean quilt.

He poured another glass of water, but, this time, he fed her the water himself.

He moved very gently and the way he looked at her, he was also very gentle.

Eloise Thompson's heart warmed as if her head didn't hurt so much.

She had been lying down for so long that she kind of wanted to get up and move around.

But only when she tried to sit up did her head spin and she fell heavily back into the hospital bed.

"Eloise, you've lost a lot of blood and you still need to rest and rest, don't move around." Hector Rogers grimaced and chided her for her recklessness. Eloise Thompson had no choice but to stop giving him a hard time and lay back down obediently.

Solomon came back from Rupert Rogers' ward, saw Eloise Thompson awake and smiled as she trotted over to the hospital bed.

The little one is very understanding and is able to take decent care of her.

He poured water for Eloise Thompson and peeled oranges for her to eat.

However, Eloise Thompson had only just woken up and couldn't eat the oranges, and Solomon wasn't frustrated.

It wasn't long before Solomon poked his head through again and asked Eloise Thompson very seriously, "Mummy, are you still in pain?"

He didn't wait for Eloise Thompson to answer and was busy adding, "It definitely hurts, but when Solomon blows Mummy, Mummy won't hurt anymore."

With that, he blew gently into Eloise Thompson's wound again.

Hector Rogers seems to be going head to head with Solomon in the care of his patients, and the two men are rivetingly busy.

Eloise Thompson couldn't help but be amused by the father and son.

"Mummy, you're smiling!" Solomon looked like he had discovered a new world, more so because he thought his blowing on the wound was having an effect, and exclaimed with great pride, "It seems that Solomon is still the best." "Yes, yes, yes, with our Solomon looking after her, Mummy's been mostly healed for a long time." She looked at Solomon dotingly.

Hector Rogers was relieved to see that she really seemed to be doing much better.

He sat down in front of her and promised heavily, "Eloise, you trust me, I will never, ever let anything happen to you around me again."

Eloise Thompson froze, Hector Rogers hardly makes promises to people easily, and it seems that this time, he was really scared.

She felt guilty and it was hard to see him worried about her, "Hector, I'm fine, it's just a minor injury."

Hector Rogers was just about to say something when he heard Solomon look at the ward door and call out, "Uncle Junior, you're here at last."

Rupert Rogers carried the chef's finished blood tonic soup in his hand and set it aside.

Hector Rogers got up and immediately poured a bowl for Eloise Thompson.

He picked up the spoon and offered to feed her, but she looked at Rupert Rogers with embarrassment and squirmed and refused, "Rupert's watching, what's it like."

She has recovered considerably and is believed to have the strength to take a spoon for her own soup.

"No." It would be too dangerous to spill it again like last time.

The soup was piping hot, not at all the same as the lukewarm water before.

Hector Rogers was adamant and Eloise Thompson was no longer insistent.

It was Rupert Rogers who watched the two of them show off their love in front of him and smacked his lips, "You're bullying single dogs, they're about to be blinded!" Eloise Thompson almost spat out the soup she had just consumed when she heard him compare himself to a dog.

At that moment, an abrupt ringing of the bell, rang out.

Hector Rogers drops his eyes and doesn't intend to pay any attention.

And at this angle, Rupert Rogers glanced over his shoulder and saw the caller ID, and when he saw that Hector Rogers didn't respond, he tried to say something else. But after contemplating it, he chose to remain silent again.

The phone rang for a long time, but it subsided for a while, but the other party seemed to continue calling relentlessly.

Eloise Thompson saw Hector Rogers' sullen face and didn't say anything.

When the bell rang again, it wasn't Reeva's father calling, but Hector's father.

Hector Rogers glanced over and frowned.

"Hector, you might as well answer it, just in case there's some kind of emergency." Eloise Thompson took the bowl from his hand and told him to get out and answer the phone.

Hector Rogers simply got up and went out into the corridor and had just picked up the phone when Hector's father's questioning words came through, "Hector, do you know what you're doing? Tell me, why are you doing this to the Lawson Group?"

Hector Rogers' brow furrowed even more when he heard Hector's father say that he had guessed that this was what Hector's father was calling about.

"I've made up my mind on this matter, Dad, I know the score, so you don't need to interfere." He said in a quiet voice.

Hector's father did not approve, "The Lawson Group has been friends with us for a long time and I couldn't stay out of it." What's more, people were already coming to the door.

"Dad, on the Lawson Group side, I will personally communicate with Uncle Tristan, so you don't have to worry about it." Hector's father already doesn't care about the Rogers Group and Hector Rogers doesn't want Hector's father to be involved in right and wrong again.

Hector's father was silent for a moment and finally handed over sovereignty to him, "Fine, fine, I don't care. But remember, there is a limit to everything, don't drag our Rogers Group into it."
