Chapter 255: Unwillingness

Hector Rogers had a sinking look in his eyes, and he naturally had something to go on before he did so.

As if to give Hector's father a piece of his mind, he said blandly, "That's natural."

A phone call with Hector Rogers and Hector's father is no longer worried.

Hector Rogers is a man of action, but a man who knows his way around, who knows his way around, and who knows his way around.

The reason he was comfortable leaving the Rogers Group in the hands of Hector Rogers was that he understood his capabilities.

After hanging up the phone, Hector's father gave Reeva's father a call back saying that he wasn't sure what was going on. Reeva's father was furious, and he hung up the phone in anger.

He immediately called Hector Rogers again.

Hector Rogers, for once, took his call instead.

Reeva's father, still angry, pressed; "Hector Rogers, what the hell do you mean? Why are you targeting the Lawson Group?"

The thought that perhaps Hector Rogers had actually moved to annex the Lawson Group made his bottom line falter, "I'll ask you, what about us, the Lawson Group, you Uncle Tristan me, has treated you badly over the years? Tell me, what is it about you that you want to target us like this?"

Hector Rogers sneered, "That's for Uncle Tristan to ask that nice daughter of yours, and when you figure it out, come back and ask me."

Reeva's father was puzzled, hadn't he told Reeva Lawson to make sure he got Hector Rogers?

Couldn't chase it and accidentally offend someone?

He couldn't help but ask, "Reeva she did something, you tell Uncle Tristan, really if she did something wrong, I'll have her apologise to you right away."

Hector Rogers did not answer directly, but simply said coldly, "You'd better ask her."

Reeva's father sat with a deep frown on his face and pondered for a long time before asking his assistant to fetch Reeva Lawson.

Reeva Lawson is not at Owen Planners these days, she is at the Lawson Group headquarters.

Reeva Lawson, on the other hand, would have none of it.

Reeva's father, for a moment, got angry and questioned her fiercely, "What? Are you going to watch the Lawson Group get dragged down by you?"

Reeva Lawson was silent, and suddenly a light went on.
