Love Comes To Me
Chapter 278: It's all Eloise Thompson's fault

Thought it was only a matter of time and a small child wouldn't get very far.

But Rupert Rogers searched the area and could not replace anyone.

The security guards at the villa area were asked and also said they hadn't seen the children.

That's strange!

Where can Solomon run as a child?

Rupert Rogers panicked and rushed to call Hector Rogers, "Brother, Solomon is missing and said he was going to Mummy."

...

The other side.

The meeting was held on time, even though Hector Rogers did not turn up.

When Eloise Thompson returned to the office after the meeting, she heard her colleagues talking about the absence of Hector Rogers on this occasion. She walked towards her place with her head down.

She didn't want to get involved in the conversation.

But you can't avoid still hearing from your colleagues.

"I heard that Mr Hector was all downstairs already, so I took a call and left in a hurry."

"What call is so important?"

"Girlfriend's?"

"Y'all didn't know then that as soon as he answered the phone, his face changed."

"Who the hell is that?"

Everyone else was curious, even Eloise Thompson, who couldn't help but turn on her computer and keep her ears open while she listened.

"It seems to be a call from home. From the explanation of his entourage, it seems that his son is missing."

"Bang!"

They were all in the midst of a lively discussion when a sudden noise startled them all and they hurriedly turned their heads to look at the sound. "Miss Eloise, why are you so careless?"

It turned out that Eloise Thompson had dropped the cup.

"I'm sorry, I'm sorry..." she

Eloise Thompson hurriedly apologised and then knelt down to pick up the pieces of the cup.

"Eloise, look out!"

Before the colleague's voice had fallen, Eloise Thompson could be heard whimpering.

Several colleagues rushed around.

Eloise Thompson squeezed her finger that had been cut by the shard and blushed a little in pain as she laughed helplessly, "I'm so clumsy." "Clumsy indeed." The older Bridget gave her an uncharacteristically blank look before grabbing her and heading to the bathroom to rinse the wound. "Bridget, the medical kit."

Another colleague brought the medical kit to the bathroom.

Looking at Bridget, who was helping her with her wounds, Eloise Thompson was touched and kept saying thank you, "Thank you, Bridget, thank you."

Bridget gave her an amused look, "There's no need to be so polite. Rather, how could you be so careless?"

Eloise Thompson bowed her head, she couldn't really say she had dropped the glass in the heat of the moment when she heard them say that Hector Rogers' son was missing.

"Just being careless." She curled her lips and smiled shyly.

"You'll have to be careful then." Bridget didn't ask too many questions, and after helping her treat the wound, she didn't forget to admonish, "It's a bit deep, try not to touch the water for a few days, okay?" "I know." Eloise Thompson nodded.

"I'm going back to work then."

Bridget led the way out of the bathroom with the first aid kit.

Eloise Thompson stares at her injured finger, her heart in turmoil.

How could Solomon have disappeared?

Should she go back and check it out?

...

It was already evening when Hector Rogers returned home.

Hector's father and Hector's mother sit in the living room with sad faces, looking up from time to time at the clock on the wall.

"Dad, Mom, how's it going?"

Hector Rogers walked quickly up to them and opened his mouth to ask.

Seeing his return, Hector's parents rushed to their feet, "Hector, you're back at last, the Solomons are gone!"

Looking at his parents' anxiety, Hector Rogers reassured them, "Mom and Dad, take it easy for a while, we'll replace them."

"But Rupert has been looking for so long, he just can't replace anyone."

Hector's mother was in tears, "It's my fault, if I had kept an eye on Solomon, he wouldn't have run away."

"Mom, it's not your fault." Hector Rogers looked around and asked, "Has there been any serious searching around the house? Could it be hiding?"

"It's all been searched." Hector's father sighed and continued, "Just about lifted the house over."

At that, Hector Rogers' sword frowned, Solomon was still so small, he couldn't have run far, unless it was ...

The dreaded thought flashed through Hector Rogers' mind and he looked at his mother, who was wiping her tears away, and decided not to say anything before they worried too much. "Mum and Dad, I'll go out and look for them too, don't you worry, I'll get Solomon back."

"I'm going too."

Hector's mother wanted to go along, but was stopped by Hector Rogers, "Mum, it's late, you don't want to go or I'll have to take care of you."

"That's right, not only will you not be of any help if you go, you'll be a problem for Hector." Hector's father also advised.

Hector's mother then gave up on the idea of going along and grabbed Hector Rogers' hand, "Hector, you have to get Solomon back." Hector Rogers nodded, "I will."

As he hurried away, Hector's mother's tears fell even harder.

"How did this happen?"

Hector's father put his arm around her shoulders, "Come on, don't cry, trust Hector and the others, they'll get Solomon back."

Hector's mother wiped her tears and suddenly huffed, "It's all that Eloise Thompson's fault."

Hearing this, Hector's father frowned, "What does this have to do with people, don't just blame them."

"Isn't that so?" Hector's mother grunted, "There hasn't been a day of comfort in our house since she came along. And I don't know what kind of ecstasy Hector and Solomon are on, they like her that much." Hector's father, although he felt that Eloise Thompson was not good enough for his eldest son, was not quite as bad as Hector's mother made it out to be.

So he said, "It's not like you don't know Hector's personality, can't he be that smart and not be able to see a woman? That Eloise Thompson should have something going for her to make Hector like her so much." "Merit? Just a vixen, I think."

Hector's mother became angry and spoke a little out of turn.

Hector's father snapped, "You can't call people names like that, it's not like you to say that."

Hector's mother took a deep breath, aware of her slip of the tongue, and said, "I'm in a mess, and if Solomon can't replace it, I'll never let that Eloise Thompson off the hook."

To put it bluntly, she just thinks it's all Eloise Thompson's fault.

Seeing how stubborn she was, Hector's father couldn't say anything but sighed and said, "You'd better not say that in front of Hector, lest he thinks you're unreasonable as a mother."

"I ..." Hector's mother tried to retort back, but once she thought he was right, she said sarcastically, "I know."

...

Hector Rogers' brow furrowed as he drove around looking for Solomon.

Suddenly the phone rang.

It was Rupert Rogers on the phone.

"Brother, where are you?"

Hector Rogers looked out of the car, gave an address and asked directly, "What's the situation on your end?" "Still can't replace it."

Rupert Rogers had been searching for hours but still found nothing, and he had a bad suspicion in his mind. "Brother, there's something I don't know if I should say."

"Say."

Rupert Rogers hesitated before speaking slowly, "Brother, could Solomon have been kidnapped?"
