Love Comes To Me
Chapter 277: I'm going to replace Mummy!

"Support, of course I support you."

Having said this, Hector's mother hurriedly continued, "Reeva, sit down while I go and get you a cup of Coffee."

She was at least old enough to see that Reeva Lawson had actually come to ask for a favour?

I used to think she was a hundred times better, but now I just think how can I be so ignorant?

Hector's mother sighed darkly and took a big step towards the kitchen.

Reeva Lawson watched as Hector's mother walked into the kitchen, the smile on her face instantly fading and her face turning sombre. This Hector's mother said she was supportive, but in reality she may have already chosen someone else in her heart.

Reeva Lawson narrowed her eyes, thinking that with Eloise Thompson gone, she would have a chance, but now it seems she may not. She had to do something to make it work.

While thinking this, a cheerful laugh came from the direction of the backyard.

It's Solomon's voice.

Reeva Lawson's eyes lit up; wasn't it because Solomon liked that bitch Eloise Thompson that she got into Hector's eyes?

So if she pleases Solomon, is it possible that Hector will like her too?

Isn't that what happens when a mother is blessed with a child?

With this in mind, Reeva Lawson had an idea and she got up and headed for the backyard.

In the backyard, Solomon is playing badminton with the housekeeper, a small but decent game.

Reeva Lawson walked over, smiled and asked, "Solomon, can I join you?"

Solomon didn't say yes or no, but asked, "Do you know how to fight?"

"Of course I will, and it's pretty awesome, too."

"Really?" Solomon didn't believe it.

Reeva Lawson laughs, "Just fight me and replace out."

Solomon asked the steward to give the racket to Reeva Lawson and then played her.

It took a few balls before Solomon reluctantly said, "You're pretty good, but ..."

Solomon paused, "Not as good as my mummy."

The smile on Reeva Lawson's face froze at the word 'Mummy', but she quickly recovered and asked with a smile on her face, "Solomon, do you know where your Auntie Eloise has been? I haven't seen her in ages." "Mummy's away on business."

"Business trip?" Reeva Lawson raised her eyebrows in mock surprise, "How did I hear she left City J?"

Just because Solomon was young didn't mean he didn't know any better, and with a small frown on his face he pursued the question, "What did you say?"

A glint of malice flashed under Reeva Lawson's eyes, and with a look of ignorance on her face, she said, "I heard that you, Auntie Eloise, had separated from your father and that people had left City J." "No way!" Solomon yelled, "Mommy can't be separated from Daddy, you're lying to me."

Reeva Lawson wasn't annoyed and said with a smile, "You can call your dad or uncle if you don't believe me. Oh no, they'll definitely say they're away on business again."

Solomon huffed and glared at her, "I won't believe you. You're the bad guy!"

"I'm not going to fight you."

Solomon threw the badminton racket away, turned and ran into the house.

"Young master." The butler glanced disgruntledly at Reeva Lawson, then gave chase.

Reeva Lawson walked over and picked the racket up, a smug smile slowly curling the corners of her mouth.

Now Eloise Thompson will lose his place in Solomon's heart, I guess.

...

Hector's mother came out of the kitchen with her Coffee and saw that Reeva Lawson was not in the living room and was wondering when she saw Solomon running in. "Solomon ..."

She shouted, but Solomon ran upstairs with his head buried as if he hadn't heard her.

What's going on here?

Hector's mother frowned when the housekeeper came in and she hastily asked, "What's wrong with Solomon?"

The housekeeper told Hector's mother exactly what had just happened.

Hector's mother's face turned a bit ugly as she listened, this Reeva Lawson knew how important Eloise Thompson was to Solomon's heart, and to say something like that on purpose to provoke Solomon was really out of proportion! "Auntie."

Reeva Lawson walks in.

"Reeva, how could you say something like that to Solomon?" Hectorâ€TMs mother stared at her unhappily.

Reeva Lawson glanced at the housekeeper, who hastily ducked her head.

With a slight twinkle in her eye, she asked back with an innocent look on her face, "Auntie, did I say something wrong?"

"It's what was said to Solomon about Eloise Thompson."

"Isn't that the truth?"

Hector's mother choked.

Reeva Lawson smiled slightly, "Auntie, this way Solomon will understand that it was Eloise Thompson who didn't want him and slowly he will get over it and accept someone else when the time comes." From what she said, it seemed right.

Hector's mother's face eased up a little, but still said, "Don't say those things to the child again."

Reeva Lawson smiled, "I got it, Auntie."

Anyway, what's said is said, there's no later.

...

As soon as Solomon ran into the room, he immediately called Rupert Rogers.

"Solomon, what is it?"

"Uncle Junior, where's my mummy?"

As soon as Rupert Rogers heard him ask about Eloise Thompson, he immediately sat up straight and said back, "Didn't I tell you that your mummy was away on business?" They will surely say it's a business trip again.

Reeva Lawson's words rang in her ears and Solomon shook her little head and asked, "Uncle Junior, you're not lying to me, are you?"

"Of course not." Rupert Rogers, not yet noticing that something was wrong with him, coaxed patiently, "As long as you behave and eat well, your mummy will be back soon." Solomon was silent for a moment before asking again, "Little Uncle, does my mommy not want me and daddy anymore?"

"Of course not, how could she not want you guys?"

"So what's taking her so long to come back?"

"She just has more work and hasn't dealt with it yet, how will she come back?"

When Solomon heard this and thought of Reeva Lawson's words, his emotions came up and he yelled at Rupert Rogers on the other end of the phone, "Uncle Junior, you're lying to me, aren't you? My mummy's not away on business, she doesn't want us anymore, does she?"

It was then that Rupert Rogers realised something was wrong and rushed to coax, "Solomon, be a good boy, I'm not lying. Your mummy is really away on a business trip."

"I'm going to get Mummy!"

At these words, the phone was hung up.

"Solomon, Solomon ..."

Rupert Rogers had a bad feeling in his heart as he looked at the blacked out phone screen.

He hurriedly grabbed his jacket and left the office in a hurry.

When he rushed home and ran upstairs to replace Solomon, he found that Solomon was not in his room.

Oh no! He didn't really run out to replace his sister-in-law, did he?

Rupert Rogers ran downstairs in a panic and found his mother, "Mum, where's Solomon?"

Hector's mother looked bewildered, "Isn't it upstairs?"

"No."

Seeing that his face was not right, Hector's mother hurriedly asked, "Is this what's wrong?"

"Solomon called me and said he was going to see his sister-in-law."

Hector's mother frowned, "Eloise Thompson?"

Rupert Rogers nodded, "Right."

Hector's mother's eyes went black and her body swayed, and she would have fallen to the ground if Rupert Rogers hadn't helped her in time. Seeing that Rupert Rogers was still standing, she shouted impatiently, "And get to Solomon!"

It was then that Rupert Rogers reacted and called for the housekeeper to look after his mother before running out of the house to replace Solomon.
