Love Comes To Me -
Chapter 295: Help me out with someone
The next day, Eloise Thompson asked Hector's parents about moving out.
They were surprised to hear, "Why do you want to move out for good reason? Did uncle and auntie do something wrong?"
"Auntie and Uncle, no, you've all been very good to me. I'm almost well enough that I don't want to bother you guys anymore."
Eloise Thompson rushed to explain, fearing they might get the wrong idea.
"What's disturbing or not. You just keep staying here for as long as you want."
It was Hector's mother who said this.
Eloise Thompson was a little surprised, she thought Hector's mother would be desperate for her to leave, after all she wasn't that fond of herself.
In fact, the change in Hector's mother's attitude could be felt from the way she defended her in front of Reeva Lawson yesterday.
I just didn't expect it to change so much.
"Yes, Eloise, it's better for you to stay here and have someone to look after you." Hector's father also advised.
"Thanks to my aunt and uncle, I've decided to move out after all."
Seeing how insistent she was, Hector's mother and Hector's father looked at each other and sighed, "Fine, move if you want."
Eloise Thompson frowned and asked tentatively, "Are you angry, Auntie?"
"I'm not angry. It's just the thought of this house being cold again in the future that's a bit hard."
Hector's mother looked genuinely lost as she spoke, shaking her head and sighing.
Eloise Thompson suddenly felt as if it was wrong for her to move out, but the thought of the trouble she would cause them hardened her heart against changing her mind.
However, she said to Hector's mother, "Auntie, Hector and I will come to the house more often from now on."
Hector's mother laughs,, "You have a heart. But don't force it, your uncle and I are used to it."
"Not reluctantly, not at all."
Hector's mother smiled and, with a turn of phrase, asked, "Is everything packed? Do you need any help?"
"No need. I don't have a lot of stuff."
At the time she stayed in, she didn't bring much with her, just clothes and a little household stuff.
"I'll have the family driver drop you off." Hector's mother said.
After seeing Eloise Thompson off, Hector's mother returned to the living room and saw Hector's father staring at her with a smirk on his face and asked, "Why are you looking at me like that?" "I notice you've changed." Hector's father said with a smile.
Hector's mother didn't understand, "What's changed?"
"The attitude towards Eloise."
So that's what it's all about.
Hector's mother sat down next to him and thought for a moment, then said, "I don't know what's going on, but it doesn't seem like she's so repulsed by her being with Hector now."
Before she had every intention of stopping them from being together, but now she has no such thoughts and even thinks Eloise Thompson is actually quite nice.
Except, of course, for the fact that she had given birth.
Seeing her incomprehension, Hector's father smiled slightly and helped her analyse it, "In the days you spent with Eloise, did you replace her different from what you thought?" Hector's mother nods her head.
"Don't you think she's good, not arrogant, and knows her place, do you?"
Hector's mother nods again.
The smile on Hector's father's face widened, "So, you still have to spend time together to get to know someone."
"What do you mean? You're not agreeing to this, are you?" Hectorâ€TMs mother frowned and stared at him suspiciously.
"Matriarch, do you think your two sons are intelligent?"
Hector's father asked a question that had nothing to do with the matter they were discussing.
Hector's mother froze for a few seconds before responding and said in an uncharacteristic manner, "Of course you're smart, would the Rogers Group be the size it is now if you weren't?"
"Isn't that right, if they are smart, how can they not see the good and bad in someone? Hector will like Eloise, it must be because there is something to like about Eloise, so we as parents should change our old thinking sometimes." Hector's mother raised her eyebrows, "So you're okay with them being together."
This is an affirmative sentence.
Hector's father nodded, "I quite like Eloise."
"Yes oh, you all like her but I don't."
"Don't you like it too?"
Hector's father looked at her meaningfully.
"I didn't."
Dropping these three words, Hector's mother got up and hurried upstairs.
Hector's father couldn't help but laugh, after so many years as a couple, how could he not understand what she was thinking?
It looks like there will be a wedding in the family soon.
...
Reeva Lawson is delighted to learn that Eloise Thompson is moving out of the Rogers family.
But fearing that it was a fake, he drove outside the Rogers family home and watched Eloise Thompson take her luggage and get into her car to leave.
Sure enough, it's true that they've moved out.
A smug smile curled the corners of Reeva Lawson's mouth as she sat in the car.
It seems that her words worked yesterday, let's just say how could someone as facetious as Matriarch Godbold approve of someone like Eloise Thompson being with Hector Rogers? She still has a chance.
She had to replace a way to get her relationship with Matriarch Godbold back to what it used to be.
Doesn't Matriarch Godbold love a certain international brand of jewellery?
Perhaps throwing in the towel will pay off.
Just do it.
Reeva Lawson was about to start her car and leave when she caught a glimpse of a black car parked not far away.
Dirty and old, it looks like a car that is on its way to being scrapped.
This is an upscale villa area, with luxury cars coming in and out, how could such a car appear here?
As she was wondering, a man got out of the car and loitered furtively outside the Rogers family cottage, peering in every now and then as if looking for someone. Could it be Eloise Thompson's or something?
Reeva Lawson's eyes lit up and she hurriedly opened the door and got out of the car and walked towards the man.
If it really is Eloise Thompson's what's-his-name, it might be possible to know something about Eloise Thompson that is not known to the public.
As soon as the man saw her, a flash of panic crossed his face and he turned and ran.
Reeva Lawson reacted quickly to stop him, "Who are you? What are you doing here?"
"Get out of the way!" The man blocked his face and bellowed sternly.
Reeva Lawson wouldn't let her, she reached out and yanked the man's hand off, his face written with panic falling into her eyes.
Why does it look so familiar?
Reeva Lawson searched her mind quickly for where she had seen this person before?
Eyes suddenly wide, "You're the one who kidnapped Solomon earlier."
Upon being recognised, the man's face sank and he reached out suddenly to clasp her throat.
"Are you resentful? Are you desperate to save your brother?"
Reeva Lawson asked quickly as he snapped his throat.
The man narrowed his eyes and stared at her warily.
Reeva Lawson fought back her fear and said, "I can help you save your brother."
The men were still a little sceptical.
"I can still pay you to get you and your brother out of here, but of course, you have to do something for me before that happens." "What do you want me to do?" The man let go of his hand.
A relieved Reeva Lawson, freed, then said, "I want you to help me with someone."
"Murder?"
"No. I just want you to teach her a lesson, to get her out of City J and as far away as possible and never come back."
Reeva Lawson gritted her teeth, her otherwise delicate face a little scowl from the hate that had tainted it.
