Love Comes To Me
Chapter 318: You can have a baby anytime you want

Back in the car, Hector didn't start it right away, but inclined his head towards Eloise, who was fastening her seatbelt.

Noticing his gaze, Eloise looked up and raised her lips in a smile, "What's wrong?"

"Why didn't you say so?" Hector asked.

Eloise froze, then reacted, smiled and said, "What am I going to say?"

She turned her head to look out, "Even if I knew that it wouldn't change anything, and I know you'd keep it from me because you're afraid I'd be too upset if I knew and it would affect my recovery." It was hard to watch her say this so calmly, like a ball of cotton in my heart.

Hector laughed softly, looking at her with gentle eyes and a hint of guilt, "I'd rather you make a fuss than see you like this."

Making a fuss?

Eloise pursed her lips and smiled, "Actually, when I first found out, I did get angry and wanted to approach you to ask why you were hiding something so important from me ..."

Speaking of this, she took a deep breath and turned her head, her clear gaze falling on his good-looking face, "After this, I've figured out that instead of being sad and upset, I should cherish what I have now." Her figuring it out made his heart ache.

"Eloise."

He took her into his arms.

The smell of his freshness instantly filled her entire nostrils, and she could not help but feel a sourness in her eyes as tears came to her eyes.

She rested her face against his chest, listening to the sound of his heartbeat, and slowly closed her eyes, letting the tears flow down her face. The child is gone.

Did she even know he existed at all, and if she had known sooner, would the child not have left?

But there are no ifs in this world.

Her sobs rang out in the car, and Hector's heart ached and ached, his throat souring as he held her close, as if to embed her in his own body.

I don't know how long it took before she slowly calmed down.

Stroking her soft hair with his big palm, Hector said softly, "The baby is only gone for a while, he'll be back."

His voice was a little husky, with a hint of sadness.

Eloise, who had stopped crying, listened to his words and her eyes once again welled up with tears.

"No more crying."

Hector bowed his head and rested his forehead against hers, cupping her face in his hands, his fingertips gently wiping away the tears that were once again streaming down her face. "It's hard for me inside."

Eloise sniffled and deflated with some resignation.

In fact, she didn't want to cry, but she just couldn't help it.

Although she said it with a light heart, the loss of her child was harder than anyone else.

And even more so for the child who is nowhere to be found.

"We can have children whenever you want."

When he suddenly said that, Eloise froze for a moment, then turned red and couldn't hold her head up in shame.

"What are you talking about?" She murmured in a small voice.

Hector laughed, "I meant what I said."

Eloise looked up, met his unusually serious eyes and couldn't help but smile too, "Good."

Hector smiled and stroked her head, then said, "Let's go back to the hospital."

...

Back at the hospital, they went to see Rupert first, only to replace out that he had woken up.

The nurse was reinserting his IV drip, and I don't know if it was the nurse's poor technique or his fear of pain, but he was grimacing in pain.

Hector's mother looked on with distress and could not help but say something to the nurse.

"Can you do it or not? How can you be a nurse if you can't even stick a needle?"

The nurse's eyes turned red and she panicked, and when she did, she didn't get it right, so she had to pull it out and retie it.

Rupert's eyes were tearing up from the pain and he looked at the nurse pitifully, begging, "Pretty girl, can you be a little more gentle? It really hurts!" "I'm sorry, I'm sorry..."

The nurse kept apologising.

Her eyes were red and a little pitiful.

Rupert couldn't help but think of another person, his heart softened and he said soothingly, "Don't cry, I'm thick-skinned anyway, feel free to zap me." Hector's mother's eyes widened as she heard this, "Rupert, what are you talking nonsense about?"

"Mum, I'm fine. And don't be so mean to other nurses, or what nurse would dare to come and stick needles in me."

Hector's mother was in tears, he made it sound as if she was an unreasonable and rude person.

"Then don't cry out in pain." Hector's mother gave him a sour, sidelong glance, then said to the nurse, "You heard what he said, so take it easy and relax." The nurse wiped away her tears and smiled gratefully at Rupert before taking a deep breath and giving him her full attention as she reattached the needle. This time, it was always the right one to tie.

It still hurts, but Rupert puts up with it and smiles at the nurse, "Look, if you just relax, you'll be able to tie it and it won't hurt."

The nurse smiled coyly, "Thank you."

Rupert smiled, "You're welcome."

His eyes fell on the name tag on her chest and he raised an eyebrow, "Aisly, that's a pretty name."

The nurse, Aisly, blushed at once and shyly said thank you.

Eloise, who came in, saw the scene and the corners of her mouth twitched; it was enough for this guy to flirt with a girl even at a time like this. "The spirit can be."

Hector walked over and looked at his brother lying in the hospital bed with a smirk.

"Brother, sister-in-law." Rupert forgot about his injuries and subconsciously tried to sit up, but the next moment fell back onto the bed in pain. "Ah! That hurts, that hurts."

"Are you all right?" The nurse asked anxiously, worry overflowing.

Eloise couldn't help but look at the nurse one more time before looking at Rupert and saying helplessly, "You have to be careful, so you don't end up with a worse injury instead of a better one." Rupert smiled cheerfully, "Don't worry, sister-in-law, I'll be able to run and jump again soon."

"You think too much, it takes a hundred days to break a bone, you can't run or jump without six months."

Hector's mother poured cold water straight down the drain.

"Mum, you had to tear me down?" Rupert complained in feigned displeasure, making the others laugh.

Even he couldn't help but laugh.

"Mom, you go back and rest, I'll just leave this place to me." Hector said.

Hector's mother nodded, "Good."

She turned to leave and when she saw Eloise still standing, she said, "Eloise, you're still not fully fit, go back to the ward and rest, and don't worry about Rupert." "Mmm. Thanks Auntie."

Hector's mother smiled faintly, "You don't have to be so polite with me. If you want something to eat let Hector tell me and I'll have my aunt at home prepare it." "Good." Eloise nodded obediently.

"I'll go back first then."

Hector's mother left, followed by the nurse, leaving Hector and the three of them alone in the ward, and the atmosphere was suddenly serious.

Rupert changed his playful face and asked with a serious look, "Brother, how did it go?"
