Chapter 373: Inexplicable Hostility

Aisly's cheeks flushed red when they looked at her like that, so she couldn't stay and ran away with her head down.

Rupert didn't expect her to run off like that, but he was still upset and called out, "Aisly, don't run away."

But Aisly hadn't heard him and was long gone.

Eloise said, "I'm sorry, Rupert, I scared her off."

Eloise followed suit, "We'll go back then, you take care of yourself."

Solomon also said, "Bye, Uncle."

With that, Hector took the two mothers back home.

Since Hector himself had told Marian to stay with Eloise at all times, she followed them home.

It was hard for Marian to watch the three of them together, but she accepted the thought of being able to follow Hector around.
