Love Comes To Me
Chapter 389: Being a Pair of Outlaw Butterflies

Rupert wasn't a fool, he knew what the female mercenary was after by asking her to go over there.

Dialing the number directly, the female mercenary picked up straight away.

"If you don't do what the message says above, I'll just get this woman killed."

With that he slashed Aisly on the arm, Aisly winced but didn't make a loud sound.

Hearing Rupert's voice on the phone made her feel much more at ease and less scared because she knew that Rupert would come to her rescue.

The female mercenary who had just stabbed her in the arm had caused her reactions to be a little sluggish.

As a medical student, she knew that the woman had injected her with aminobenzamine, which could desensitise one's nervous system, but it was good that she had drunk a lot of chrysanthemum tea before she arrived, so the effects of the drug wore off quickly.

But to prevent her from seeing through it, Aisly was still pretending.

Hearing that there was no longer any sound on the other side of the phone, Rupert gripped the phone tightly as he forced himself to be calm.

Word for word, "It would be unfair to let me go alone. She and I are a cripple and a weak woman, and after swapping people, even if we wanted to run, I'm afraid we wouldn't be able to match your physical fitness.

Even in a fight, we are no match for you, so to be fair, I will take my side with me, but I will make sure that I can get you out safely, and at the same time I will not put myself in a disadvantageous position." Silence fell over the phone after Rupert finished.

The female mercenary thought for a long time and decided that there was nothing wrong with what Rupert had said, and that saving her companions was the most important thing for her right now. So she answered straight away, "Okay, I agree to your terms, but I want you to prepare a car for me so that we can leave easily."

Seeing her promise, Rupert hastily asked, "Yes, go ahead, where's the address?"

During their conversation, Hector's side had also been locating the number, but it was clear that the female mercenary was battle-hardened and the number had been made to go into destruction mode. As soon as she hung up the phone, the calling card would immediately delete the information on this, and they would not be able to replace it otherwise, only if she told them the location herself.

The female mercenary finally settled on a disused processing plant and Rupert got the message and took the male mercenary on his way.

Hector followed him with his men, keeping a distance from Rupert's car so that they would not be spotted by the female mercenary.

The male mercenary was escorted to the car with a bag over his head and a cloth gag in his mouth, but this was to prevent him from saying anything that would upset Rupert's mind.

The journey was uneventful as the whole city was under martial law. The location given by the female mercenary was a long deserted factory, a very isolated place with nothing around it. After a bumpy drive, we finally arrived.

Rupert led the male mercenary to the door and, not seeing the female mercenary or Aisly, he shouted out directly, "I've brought the man, so it's time you kept your promise."

At these words, the female mercenary came out from the shadows, carrying Aisly in her hands.

By now Aisly was completely terrified, and all her emotional pretensions crumbled at the sight of Rupert.

But she glanced behind Rupert and was touched to replace that he had come alone to save her, and was more than a little worried about him.

She couldn't help cursing, "Are you a fool? Why did you come to save me! Don't you know how dangerous it is? A little nurse like me can die, but you are Mr Rupert, what should you do if anything happens to you? Have you thought about all this?!"

Hearing Aisly's words, Rupert shook his head with a smile and said in a gentle tone, "This matter started because of me, I dragged you into it, I can't let you be in danger alone."

The female mercenary heard their conversation and impatiently pulled out her ears, being from a mercenary background and knowing that one more second could mean one more point of danger, she yelled directly, "Cut the crap and hand over the man!"

Rupert ripped the bag off the male mercenary's head and let him walk past, and the female mercenary pushed Aisly out with great alacrity.

The whole of Aisly, who was free, was trembling to death and staggered into Rupert's arms, crying incessantly.

She complained from time to time, "Why are you so stupid, why did you come to save me, you might as well have let me die like this."

Rupert didn't say anything, but examined Aisly's bruises carefully, her face and arms were covered with scratches, and it was very painful, but none of them were serious, so he finally put his mind at ease. Just as he was about to take Aisly away, the woman spoke again.

"Mr Rupert is quite bold, really daring to come here, aren't you afraid of what we might do to you both now?"

Rupert couldn't help but frown and turned to see the woman's face looking at him with a smirk, and the man's mouth also held a bad smile.

At this point Rupert's heart was very uneasy, but he still pretended to be calm and said, "I have already released the man as requested and prepared the car for you, do you want to break your word now?"

The man moved closer to Rupert, playing with a knife in his hand.

Rupert saw this and pulled Aisly behind him, not allowing her to be in any more danger.

The man approached Rupert and slashed him in the face, the blade was sharp and blood came straight out, the man went a little mad at the sight of the blood, he licked the blood from the tip of the blade and said, "Mr Rupert's blood is really delicious, I wonder if your body would look better if it was blown to pieces?"

The man's movement made Rupert gag a little, but kept his guard tightly around Aisly.

"What do you mean?" Rupert looked at the other man very warily.

"Literally, it means 'bang' into pieces like a firework."

The man said and danced, a look of satisfaction on his face, as if he was seeing something extremely beautiful.

Rupert couldn't help but smell the alarm bells ringing, could he be talking about...

At this time in the shadows Hector also heard the man's words, before Rupert left, the body had been bugged, just in case they made any moves.

The female mercenary was a little impatient with the man's approach and shouted straight out, "Ben! Stop it!"

Hearing the woman's voice, the man's dance came to an abrupt halt, and seeing the two hugging together, he said with a smile, "Enjoy this last time of warmth, soon you'll be a pair of dead butterflies."
