Love Comes To Me
Chapter 390: It's going to be lifeless

"I know your people must be nearby, so ..."

The female mercenary snorted coldly, at that moment a remote control like object suddenly appeared in her hand, Rupert saw it and sweat stood up, shouting at Aisly, "Run!!!"

Rupert tried to pull Aisly to run, but as his leg had not yet healed, he had to be supported by Aisly.

He now realised what the men meant by fireworks; it turned out that they had planted explosives here a long time ago.

Aisly didn't know why Rupert had suddenly become emotional, but looking at the nervous look on his face, she couldn't help but be shocked, and her body filled with strength at that moment, and she pulled Rupert forward. As she watched the two of them run away, the corners of the female mercenary's mouth curled up and she pressed the button, before fleeing with the male mercenary.

Hector naturally heard the female mercenary's words and, understanding what she meant, his face changed emotionally and he shouted, "Rescue!"

However, the moment he said that, a loud bang came out from inside the factory ...

The police also turned pale at this point and hurriedly ordered an evacuation, but the bomb was so powerful that despite their swift escape, many people were still affected.

When he heard the loud noise, Hector froze in place, looking straight at the burning factory, with sparks occasionally crashing into his face.

When the Director saw that Hector was still frozen, he went up to him and pulled him out.

"Mr Hector, we don't know how many explosives are buried inside yet, so you'd better follow the troops and evacuate to safety."

But Rupert did not respond and continued to look ahead, allowing the chief to pull.

The scene was extraordinarily chaotic at the moment, the factory was on fire, the sea of flames was spreading, and from time to time there were screams coming out of the crowd. Taking advantage of the chaos, the two mercenaries had fled.

Some people on the scene were responsible for putting out the fire, others for tracking it down, and others for calling emergency services. It was good that the people on the scene were all from the army and it was not very noisy. At this point a man in a protective suit walked past Hector, who stopped him straight away and said, "Give me the suit."

The person who was stopped was the very same person who had arrived to put out the fire, and when he saw the look in Hector's eyes, he couldn't help but be shocked.

Only to see that Hector's eyes had now turned red, not knowing whether it was the erosion of his tears or the smoke from the burns that had entered his eyes.

Hector also exuded an aura that no one else could ignore, as if he was a god from heaven and no one could refuse his request.

The fire-fighter looked at Hector in awe and took off the clothes he was wearing straight away.

Hector put them on and then made to rush into the fire, but was stopped by the chief.

Seeing the look of fearlessness in Hector's eyes, the chief couldn't help but stop him, "It's too dangerous in there, we don't know how much explosives are buried in there yet, you'll die if you rush in like that!"

Hector looked back at the chief and said word for word, "My brother is still inside, naturally I have to go and save him, if you don't save him, I will, get out of the way!"

I don't know if it was the look in his eyes or the tone of his voice that scared him, but the chief froze in place, only to watch Hector's figure leap straight into the fire.

It was only after a long time that he reacted and called for someone to follow him in to save him.

Hector had only one thing on his mind, and that was to bring Rupert back in one piece.

Once inside the factory, Hector realised how dangerous it was, with crackling sounds around him and bricks falling from the factory perimeter.

The smoke rolled in front of him, blocking his way forward. Hector wasn't able to shout out because of his protective suit, and after a quick look around there was no sign of Rupert.

Hector's heart was in a panic, could he be in trouble?

The longer it took, the more danger there would be for Rupert, and Hector was pulling at the masonry around him in disbelief.

The explosion was so big that even they were so far away, let alone Rupert, who was at the centre of it, was affected.

One of them couldn't look away and patted Hector's shoulder, "Mr Hector, the Second Prince may ..."

He didn't say the rest of the words, after all, such a thing would be too cruel to the next of kin.

Hector heard the words directly grabbed his collar, ripped off the protective cap worn on his head, his eyes were red as he looked at the man who had just spoken, and his tone was cold, "If you dare to talk nonsense again, I will kill you." Seeing this, no one dared to say anything else and let him go.

Slowly approaching inside, Hector called out Rupert's name, but it remained unanswered.

The fire in the factory burned even hotter and Hector's throat had entered a little smoke, making him a little dizzy.

There was another faint explosion from inside and the police, seeing the crisis, simply knocked Hector unconscious and evacuated him, regardless of the situation.

The next second they left, bigger pieces of debris flew out of the factory and the sound rang out into the darkness of the night.

At home, Hector's mother was in a panic. It was eleven o'clock, but she hadn't slept a wink.

Walking downstairs, she saw Eloise still playing with Solomon and came over to them.

Eloise saw Hector's mother and asked, "Auntie, why are you up so late?"

Hector's mother frowned and said, "Eloise, I'm in a panic, I feel like something is going to happen, I've just called Rupert and Hector's phones but they are unanswered, I'm worried something has happened to them." Eloise said, "Auntie, it's okay, don't worry, Hector said there's something going on at the office for a few days, once it's taken care of everything will be back to normal, go back to sleep, I'll try calling Hector again later." Hector's mother felt relieved to hear that and went upstairs.

After Hector's mother left, Eloise dialled Hector's number, but instead of Hector's doting voice, a mechanical female voice came through.

She was actually worried sick, after all, Hector had told her earlier that a group of people were lurking around them and might one day strike at them.

Besides, he had clearly said he would be back today, so how come he couldn't get through to him now.

Hector, where are you now...

On the side, Solomon observed Eloise's emotions and knowingly dropped the toy in his hand, wrapped his arms around her neck and said, "Mummy, with Solomon, Solomon will protect you."
