Love Comes To Me
Chapter 412: Ambiguous glances

As they walked out of the marriage registry office, Hector kept looking at the photo in the little book and giggling like a big boy. Eloise couldn't help but poke him.

"What are you laughing at, so silly."

Hector sniffed and picked Eloise up straight away, saying excitedly, "I've got a wife, I'm finally married!"

His joy drove Eloise's mood too, and she couldn't help but smile as she wrapped her arms around his neck.

Who would have thought that Mr Hector, the man who holds the lifeblood of the city's economy, would be smiling like a child at this moment?

After a long time, Eloise was released and she looked at Hector and said, "Well, Hector, we should let the family know about this news as soon as possible."

"Good, everything is quite wifey." Hector replied good-naturedly as he rested his head on her shoulder.

At that moment, Hector's mobile phone rang, and after glancing at the name on it, Hector pressed the speakerphone button.

As soon as he picked up, Rupert couldn't help but chirp, "Brother! You and my sister-in-law are getting married! Congratulations, my frosty brother is finally getting the hang of it."

Hearing his words, Hector couldn't help but have a black line floating across the top of his head.

"What are you talking about? I have your sister-in-law to protect me now, so watch your mouth."

Rupert was surprised to hear Hector's slightly petulant words, "Wow, you've trained my brother too well, sister-in-law, he was never like this before."

Eloise smiled amusedly and said, "Your brother is like that to the bone, don't you all know that?"

"It's my wife who made me like this."

Rupert heard the intimate words of the two men on the other side of the phone with some indignation and said viciously, "You two men of the opposite sex without brothers, I won't talk to you anymore." With that he hung up the phone just as Aisly came in pushing the medicine trolley.

"What's wrong with you?"

"It's not because my brother and my sister-in-law are abused, these two are always abusing me as a single dog, no the two have even gotten a marriage license now."

Rupert, who had hung up the phone, was still a little discontented, feeling like he had been abandoned.

Looking at him, Aisly couldn't help but laugh, "It's normal for two people to get a license, so why are you so indignant over here?

Rupert sniffed and dutifully flopped down on the bed while Aisly reduced the scabs that had formed on his body a little and then applied the ointment.

After so many days of treatment, his back was finally getting much better.

As Aisly applied the ointment to Rupert, she lamented, "To be honest, I envy Sister Eloise for being able to meet a man like your brother, unlike me, who has met some very, very scummy people." "Eh, that's not right, what do you mean all very scummy people, am I not a good person?" Rupert was a little displeased.

Aisly sniffed and slapped him and said, "I'm talking about boyfriends! Why do you pick up everything you say."

"Be gentle, I'm still a patient, I can't take that kind of force." Rupert was in pain.

Then he turned to Aisly and said, "But if it's okay with you, I can be your boyfriend too."

Aisly gave him a blank look and didn't reply.

When Rupert looked at Aisly, he found her inexplicably cute, and if she hadn't been here all these days, he would have died of loneliness.

When he thought about the fact that Hector had gotten his license, Rupert couldn't help but wonder when his real name would appear.

What he doesn't know is that what Aisly is thinking right now is exactly what he is thinking.

It wasn't that she hadn't thought about what Rupert had just said, it was just that she was afraid to follow her heart.

A relationship with a member of the Rogers family seemed like a fantasy to her.

After administering the medicine to Rupert, Aisly left, leaving a resentful Rupert in bed.

The Rogers family.

Hector swaggered back to the Rogers family, holding Eloise's hand, and opened the door to see Hector's fatherHector's mother sitting on the sofa looking at them both. "Mum and Dad, don't you have anything going on today?" Rupert asked suspiciously.

"You're the one who didn't tell us about the wedding with Eloise, we only found out through the assistant's mouth that you were getting your license today. Besides, it's a big life event and you guys were too hasty." Hector's mother complained.

Before Hector could say anything else, Hector's father retorted, "Come on, don't nag, they're not even close to getting that little red book.

Besides, it's time for them to get their license, so Eloise is now a real daughter-in-law of the Rogers family, and you, as a mother-in-law, are just blaming them?"

Hector's mother gave Hector's father a blank look and said, "You're the only one who can be nice, I'm happy that Eloise is our Rogers family's daughter-in-law, but what I want is to give Eloise a big ceremony, wouldn't that be ..." "It's okay Auntie, I don't care about the pomp and circumstance, as long as Hector and I love each other it's enough." Eloise responded with a smile.

At Eloise's words, Hector's mother smiled, took Eloise's hand and said, "Are you still calling me Auntie now? Isn't it time to change your name?"

Hector's mother's words caused Eloise to blush a little sheepishly.

"Yes, honey, it's time to change the name to Mum and Dad." Hector smiled back and put his arm around Eloise's shoulders.

"Mum..." Eloise spoke timidly, she hadn't converted herself for a while.

"Hey Eloise, now that you're a real daughter-in-law of our Rogers family, there's no need to be overly formal in the future." Hector's mother said with a smile.

Seeing that Eloise was a little overwhelmed, Hector pulled her over and handed the two certificates to Hector's mother.

"Here, look at this, you guys, it's still a fresh marriage certificate."

Hector's mother hastily took it, looked at the pictures on the certificates and smiled with relief.

"Mum, I'll take Eloise and rest for a while, you can call me up if there's anything."

"Fine, fine, you guys go up, your dad and I will pick up Solomon later, I won't call you if there's nothing wrong." Hector's mother said with an ambiguous glance at Eloise.

Feeling Hector's mother's gaze, Eloise became even more shy and ran all the way upstairs.

"We finally have a wife in Hector's life, and that's one of the knots in my heart, but Rupert's wedding is also a headache for me."

Hector's mother looked at the red certificate and couldn't help but say.

Sensing Hector's mother's worry, Hector's father said carelessly, "You can stop worrying about it soon, your grandchildren will have their own happiness, don't worry too much about Rupert, he will replace that person too."
