Love Comes To Me
Chapter 415: Destined for a Sleepless Night

Ramm had been on this side of the room to guide Marian, not noticing Hall on the other side.

When he finished calming Marian, he noticed that Hall had also become drunk and was talking nonsense on the side.

"Why can't you see all the things I've done for you..."

Seeing his drunken appearance, Ramm felt instantly exasperated.

He asked the waiter for a glass of ice water and splashed it directly on Hall's face, who woke up with a start and looked at Ramm in disbelief.

"Hall you sober up, you weren't called here today to drink!" Ramm yelled.

It was then that Hall reacted, knowing that he had just lost his temper.

Out of the three of them, he was the one who could hide his emotions the best, but seeing how Marian had lost his mind over Hector today, he was genuinely jealous and that was why he was like that. "I ..."

Looking at an angry Ramm beside him, Hall didn't know what to say.

"Alright, alright, now Marian is drunk too, take her back, and remember, don't do anything you'll regret for the rest of your life." Ramm admonished.

Patting Hall on the shoulder he left.

He didn't know what his brother was thinking, he just wanted to give him a chance this time.

Looking at Marian on the bar, who was already unconscious and drunk, Hall's heart flashed with a twinge of pain.

He picked her up by the waist and walked out of the bar.

All the way out of the bar, Marian chanted Hector's name, which was most certainly hurtful to Hall.

After a while, Marian stopped talking and fell asleep.

Listening to her even breathing, Hall felt very content.

He deliberately drove the car very slowly, just to spend more time with her.

But any long journey would come to an end, and he carried Marian down to the bed and carefully wiped her cheeks again. After making sure nothing was wrong, intending to leave, the moment he turned around Marian pulled him back. When Marian's hand touched him, Hall froze.

A drunken Marian had a more distinctive charm, which was a dead giveaway to Hall.

Marian's lips were slightly parted, her face was still flushed with alcohol, and she looked like a flower in bloom. Hall couldn't help but look at her for a few moments.

He slowly walked over and bent down, the breath from Marian's mouth spraying his face, causing his body to react.

Looking at Marian's lips, Hall felt the urge to kiss them.

Why not take this opportunity to indulge? Should he just run away without a backbone?

The thoughts kept screaming in his mind, and Hall was confused as to what to do.

But in the end, sanity prevailed and he tucked Marian in and fled ...

If he had done anything to Marian while she was delirious, I'm afraid he would never have forgiven himself.

Back at home, Hall rushed straight into the bathroom and let the cool water pour over his head, hoping to remove the heat from his body.

It was a long time before he emerged from the shower, dripping wet and looking slightly dishevelled.

Looking at the cigarette on the table, he couldn't resist picking it up.

It was the same one Ramm had given him earlier, but he never smoked, so he had put it aside.

What did cigarettes really taste like? Did it make people forget their sorrows?

Lighting one up, he took a sharp puff but choked on it; it seemed he was still not cut out for these things.

Tonight was destined to be a sleepless night.

The following day, at the breakfast table, Hector's mother kindly served Eloise soup and handed it to her with the words, "Eloise, you're too thin for this body, so hurry up and take more tonic so that you can have the strength to bear children." At this Eloise was a little shy and said shyly, "Mum, what are you talking about ..."

"Still shy, not used to being transformed into a Rogers family daughter-in-law yet?" Hector's mother said with a smile.

"Mom, you know Eloise is shy so don't make fun of her." Sensing Eloise's embarrassment, Hector relieved her.

"Grandma, why is Mummy calling you Mummy?" Solomon at the table asked innocently, unaware that his parents were licensed.

"Your mummy ah is now daddy's legal wife, so daddy's mummy is your mummy's mummy." Hector said as he rubbed Solomon's head.

After hearing Hector's words, Solomon jumped up and down with joy.

"Then mummy will be a real mummy from now on! Never leave me again!"

Hector's mother looked at Solomon's happy face and joked, "Yes, let your mummy give you a brother and sister later, okay?"

As Hector's mother spoke, Hector chimed in, "I'll try my best to get Mom and Dad a grandchild soon."

"That's the best thing, I've got nothing to do now anyway, so I can look after them for you." Hector's mother said with great pleasure. Their conversation caused Eloise to blush, it was a very memorable breakfast for her ...

After breakfast, Hector took Eloise to the office.

On the way, Eloise couldn't help but scold, "You didn't even know how to help me out just now, and you were teasing me with Mum." Seeing his little petite wife blush, Hector really wanted to hide her at home, where no one could share her beauty with him.

"It's not to suit Mum, she's got nothing to do at the moment, it's just as well we have another one to keep her busy."

Hector finished and Eloise gave him a blank look not to speak.

When they arrived at the office, Eloise went back to her post and got to work.

Since they were getting their license on a temporary basis, Hector and Eloise did not intend to make it public now until the actual wedding, so the company did not know about their license at the moment. Since she hadn't done any work these days, the pile of papers in front of her was now almost as high as a mountain.

She resigned herself to the fact that she had to bury her head in the sand and start working hard.

Later in the evening, Rupert's assistant came over to deliver Rupert's instructions.

He handed Hector a series of lists for his wedding present, a generous offer.

It included a small island with a villa, just what Hector wanted, so that he and Eloise could go on holiday there when they were free.

Rupert had finally done something he was happy with.

After another moment, the assistant came in.

"President, here's the address of that lawyer, and it's now booked so that you can take Madame for the change of equity." Accepting the document from the assistant, Hector nodded.

Transferring Eloise's grandfather's estate to Eloise's name as soon as possible was the big thing.

Before it was time to leave work, Hector and Eloise left the office straight away.

After a brief preparation, Hector took Eloise straight to the old lawyer's residence.
