Love Comes To Me
Chapter 431: It's not your turn to discipline me

When he got home, Rupert was treated like a king.

It could be said that he was clothed and fed, and the days were very comfortable.

Because Rupert was not yet fully recovered, Hector and Eloise did not plan to go on their honeymoon, after all, they still had to feel sorry for Rupert. Hector's mother couldn't stand the thought of it, so she threw a party.

The day of the party.

The blackness of the night was over the bustling city, punctuated by colourful neon lights, and a cool breeze was blowing against the corners of the clothes. Eloise was dressed in a gorgeous gown, a black sheath dress that framed her perfect figure, her face made up in a sophisticated but not flashy way. Her long hair was pulled back, with strands of it clinging mischievously to her cheeks.

The man beside her smiled faintly and brushed her hair behind her ear, his eyes as gentle as water, "You look so beautiful today."

Even Eloise could not help but blush at Hector's compliment.

She gave him a pouting look, "Don't be so blunt, okay?"

Hector's hand lifted the dress from her chest and he murmured possessively into her ear, "Keep the collar up, don't let anyone see you."

The two joked and laughed as they made their way to the ballroom.

Standing in the doorway, they were a glowing pair, attracting the attention of many.

Some were envious and hateful of Eloise, but more than that, they were blessed.

"Tsk, tsk, tsk, tsk, tsk, tsk, tsk, give me a bowl of dog food as soon as I arrive."

Rupert smacked his lips and patted his suit as if to get rid of the bad luck that had stained his dog food.

"Why don't you guys just show your love this party."

Eloise, seeing a re-energised Rupert, couldn't help but feel a little inclined to tease him too.

Lifting her chin, she interlocked one hand with Hector's fingers and said, "Forget it, mother was meant for your blind date, don't let us steal the show."

Rupert and Eloise tussled, neither one willing to give in, and the bickering was a hot mess.

Hector couldn't stand it anymore before he stepped in to stop the two, "Are you going to argue in front of here?"

"Who wants to argue with him."

Eloise grunted condescendingly and turned right around, looking around at the cars, "Why isn't Aisly here yet?"

Hector sent Rupert straight to the ballroom to greet the guests in case the two got into another argument. The party was at least for him.

On the surface it looked like an appreciation party, but in essence it was Hector's mother who had invited so many famous women and girls in order to pick a daughter-in-law for Rupert. "Sister Eloise!"

A familiar voice rang out as Aisly walked towards Eloise, carrying her long dress.

Seeing Hector beside her with his arm around her waist, he gave a slight nod as a greeting.

"Sister Eloise, what did you call me here for ... and ask me to dress formally ..."

Upon seeing the array of celebrities at this party, Aisly couldn't help but feel a little self-conscious.

She only knew it was a party, she didn't know it would be so grand.

When Eloise saw Aisly, she let go of Hector's hand straight away, took Aisly's hand and said with a smile, "It's not for you to come and see."

At this point Rupert turned his head unintentionally and was surprised to see Aisly arriving, and became a little excited.

Eloise and Hector left first because they needed to greet the guests.

Aisly was alone with her glass of wine, her eyes vacant.

Rupert was torn between wanting to talk to Aisly and being afraid that she would ignore him.

Just as he was building himself up, he was about to go up to her and talk to her.

A few well-dressed women walked straight up to Aisly and wondered what they were talking about.

"Gee, the clothes on this one, they're gorgeous."

A heavily made-up woman walked up, her eyes full of disdain for Aisly, and the words that came out of her mouth were masculine and subversive.

Aisly frowned, disgusted to the extreme by the climbing at the party.

Not feeling good about this woman either, and wanting to leave, she spoke up and said, "Excuse me, please."

The woman, however, deliberately stood in Aisly's way, still with an air of arrogance, "Who are you to dare leave? Did I tell you to leave?"

"What are you doing, this aunt?"

A tiny hand clutched the corner of her skirt and the woman instantly tensed up like an enemy, afraid that Solomon would be careless and ruin her dress straight away.

The woman froze in place, wondering whose child had come out to cause trouble, and sternly scolded, "Let go! Believe it or not, I'll teach your parents a lesson about children!"

Solomon had no intention of letting go of his hand, and his small body was full of aura, "It's not your turn to teach me a lesson."

The woman seemed to be shocked by Solomon, the disguise on her face was instantly removed.

Whose kid... was this, and the tone of his voice was so intimidating at such a young age?

She didn't want to admit that she was intimidated by a child, and forced herself to calm down, but there was still some panic in her words, "Don't you ... think that just because you're a child you can get an inch! Don't think I dare not move you!" "Who are you going to move?"

A female voice rang out behind the woman, who almost reflexively turned her head straight away, only to see Eloise and Hector walking towards her.

Hector and Eloise she knew, the legendary couple who were the worst to mess with, and if you messed with them, it would be the equivalent of a catastrophe.

The small child, on the other hand, ran up to Eloise, hugged her leg and cried out, "Mummy."

The woman hooked up a weak smile, fearing that Eloise and Hector would replace fault with her, and hastily waved her hands in sophistry, "I didn't say that, Miss Eloise did you mishear ..."

Hector's cold eyes swept right over with a warning.

Eloise simply ignored the woman and walked over to Aisly's side and asked, "You're not doing anything, are you? Is she bullying you?"

Aisly pulled Eloise, who was about to argue with the woman, and shook her head, "No need, just don't take these people to heart."

Although Aisly didn't want to cause any trouble, Eloise couldn't stand to see it, and after giving the woman a hard time for a while, she let her go. Almost everyone at the party was watching the drama, and more people wanted to take advantage of Eloise's opportunity to work with Hector. So, as soon as Hector left, the crowd came up like a flood.

Aisly and Eloise were praised to the hilt and the enthusiasm was too much for Aisly to handle.

Aisly took a deep breath as the fresh air entered her body and refreshed her whole body.

Eloise looked at her as if she was relieved and couldn't help but smile, saying, "You may replace it unbelievable, but get used to it."

Aisly lost her smile and felt her scalp tingle at the thought of what the group had just done, but it was a good thing she didn't have to deal with such scenes.
