Love Comes To Me -
Chapter 458: What are you going to do about it
As it turned out, Hector was as good as his word.
Two days later, when Eloise was off work, she was stopped by Juana in front of the Rogers Group.
She came at once, and Eloise didn't even have time to react before she saw someone on their knees in front of her, and she was terrified.
"What are you doing, get up." Eloise hastily bent down and tried to pick the man up.
"Miss Eloise, I beg you, please give me back Solomon... I really can't live without him, he's my life! Just promise me anything you want me to do, just please don't separate us mother and son, please." As she spoke, Juana burst into tears again.
It was the rush hour after work, and as soon as they went out to see this scene, one of the parties involved was also the president's wife, everyone stopped in their tracks and waited for a good show.
"Get up first, we'll replace somewhere to talk slowly." Eloise really didn't want to be surrounded by so many people looking like monkeys, and at the same time admired Juana's mental strength to say that she was on her knees and leaned over to pull her up.
But Juana was reluctant, deliberately avoiding Eloise's support and saying with a tear-stained face, "Miss Eloise, please promise me, or I'll stay here on my knees."
Eloise's face changed, she couldn't say no to Juana out of hand in front of so many people, and she certainly couldn't say yes.
Juana presents her with a dilemma that puts her in a dilemma.
"Get up, do you still want to solve the problem or not, if not go ahead and kneel or get on your feet." Eloise said indifferently.
She could see the woman for what she really was, far from being as clean and nice as she looked, but on the contrary, she had a lot of tricks up her sleeve, and she had chosen this time of day to do nothing but kneel down and cry. Juana froze, then cried, "Of course I want to solve the problem, but the paternity test was done, and I explained what happened, but ..."
"What are you doing, don't block here, hurry up and get out!" The security guards finally rushed over.
Eloise breathed a slow sigh of relief, in her heart she was afraid that Juana would go on; bystanders don't have the ability to know right from wrong and believe what they hear, which often leads to trouble.
Juana is clinging to Eloise's thighs, hating herself for being one step away from forcing Eloise to give in, but damn the security guards, they don't come early and they don't come late.
"Miss Eloise, I won't take your place, you're still Mrs. Ken, just show me Solomon and that's enough, I only have this one small wish, promise me, okay?"
Eloise couldn't help but feel a little impatient when she heard her say that, Juana was making it sound as if she was preventing them from meeting mother and son, which was putting all the blame on her.
In the midst of the panic, a tall figure emerged from inside with hasty steps and instantly came to the front of the group, none other than Hector.
His face was unpleasant, and as he saw the scene inside, he quickly reached out and pushed Juana away, pulling Eloise behind him for protection, his expression dark and grim, "Juana, I've made myself clear enough, and it seems you can't understand human speech."
Juana flinched a little, seemingly afraid, but plucked up the courage to say, "Hector, if you hadn't forbidden me to see my son, I wouldn't have come to her at all, I just wanted my own son back."
"It was my idea to keep you from seeing Solomon, you could have come to me, and I told you, if you bothered her, you'd get nothing." Hector's voice was full of coolness.
Juana fell to the ground, tears pounding down her face, looking extremely pitiful and earning the sympathy of onlookers.
"So that's the Prince's real mother, but what's this singing about?"
"So pathetic, the new mother said she couldn't stand watching it, it's true there's no such thing as a man who isn't a scumbag, and money isn't exempt."
"Shhh, keep your voice down, do you want to die if Mr Hector hears you."
"So what if I heard it, it would have been the truth, people worked so hard to give him a son and then turned around and got kicked and weren't allowed to see their child, who can stand that, if it were me, I would have made a scene too and had to turn the world upside down."
Hector's gloomy eyes swept over the crowd and the voices fell silent.
Hector takes Eloise back to his office, where she looks so shaken up that Hector is distraught.
Yet Eloise stopped and rushed to the crowd that had not yet dispersed and said hoarsely, "What we all see is only one side of the story, don't judge a person on one side of the story, that is often the wrong conclusion."
Having said that, she ignored the reaction of the crowd behind her and followed Hector back to his office.
Until she entered the office and sat down in her chair, Eloise was still distraught, her face bloodless and dazed, like she was still reeling from the chaos of what had just happened.
Hector poured her a glass of water, "Don't be afraid, I'm here."
Eloise drained her water in one gulp, her lifted heart only falling back a little and her face not looking so scary. She laughed bitterly, "I did just get a shock from her, she's got a lot of nerve."
"It's my fault for giving you a fright." Hector said guiltily, his heart hating Juana a few more times.
Eloise bit her lip and said slowly, "Actually, I understand her somewhat..."
Hector scowled, "She embarrassed you like that and you spoke up for her, Eloise, don't be too nice, you're easy to bully."
"It's not with you." Eloise said with a forced smile.
Hector rubbed her hair without saying a word, not too pleased with himself for not being there first when Eloise was threatened. Seeming to read Hector's mind, Eloise took a deep breath and put on a calm face, "I'm fine, go ahead and sort things out."
Hector looked at her in silence for a long time and said, "Okay, are you sure you're okay with this?"
Eloise smiled, "It's really fine, go on."
After a pause, she asked again, "What are you going to do about it?"
"Pay her to leave, staying is out of the question." Hector looked faint.
I'm afraid she won't agree, Eloise said, with a faint sadness in her heart.
Hector made it to the door and somehow suddenly returned in stride, kissing Eloise on the forehead and fixing her hair as she looked on in confusion, saying gently, "I'll be right back." "I'll wait for you." Eloise's gaze was warm.
