Love Comes To Me
Chapter 457: No room for anyone

Hector blew off steam for a while, completely calmed down and drove back to the office.

No sooner had he sat down than Rupert's call came through, and he was shouting over the phone, "Brother, I heard that the results came back and that Solomon was really born to that woman?" Hector's voice was as cold as hardened ice, "Don't listen to the wind."

Rupert wailed, "I don't want to believe it either, but that's what Mum told me, is it true brother?"

Hector thought how his brother was so annoying and hung up the phone with a cold face.

As it turned out, within half an hour Rupert appeared at the office door.

"Brother I have to talk to you properly." Rupert said righteously, with a certain amount of seriousness.

Hector threw down his pen and leaned back in his chair with a scowl on his face, "Go ahead."

He was in turmoil and needed to talk to someone, but it was something he couldn't say to Rupert, lest his tail go up in the air.

Rupert came to him and the two brothers sat face to face, Rupert surveyed his brother's demeanour, which was normal, still as facetious as ever.

He was a little beaten up, unable to guess what was going through his brother's mind.

After thinking about it, Rupert spoke up and asked, "What the hell is going on here, brother, and how did you end up rolling with that woman in the first place?"

The question was a sharp one, and with Rupert's rare serious expression, it gave Hector the impression of being on trial. The question was sharp, and with Rupert's rare serious expression, it gave Hector the illusion of being judged. He was in a trance for a moment, recalling, "How should I know, I was drunk."

At that time, Hector hadn't taken over the company for long and it was not uncommon for him to need to go out from time to time to socialise and get drunk. If Hector had known what was going on behind the scenes, he would have preferred not to go to the appointment, even if it was a billion-plus contract.

Hector has always been extremely self-disciplined and hardly ever gets close to women, so he has been alone for many years, but to his surprise, he got drunk once and slept with someone, and even slept with a son out. A son is a son, but he's soft and cuddly anyway. The son's mother hasn't appeared for years, we've all gotten used to it and life is back on track, and then, out of the blue, another woman appears claiming to be Solomon's mother! "Don't you remember any of it?" Rupert asked incredulously, having always assumed that a monster like his brother could never make a mistake.

He still thinks too optimistically.

Hector's face didn't look too good, "Don't remember."

He thought back very carefully, but had no recollection of it. It just so happened that on that day, the hotel's surveillance was broken and no one could be found, making it an unsolved case that could not be solved for years. Hector was haunted by what happened that day, but it faded away because he couldn't replace anyone. Who knew that a year later, there would suddenly be a baby on the doorstep.

Rupert looked at his big brother's scowl and added, "Think carefully, the person you slept with, was that Juana woman or not."

Hector gave him a grim look, he had made it clear enough, but how could this brother still want to poke him?

He said flatly, "No."

"I thought you didn't remember?" Rupert asked, puzzled.

Hector didn't say anything and Rupert had to say, "Well, you don't even remember, and I don't expect you to say anything."

There was a long silence between the two brothers before Hector suddenly spoke up, "Do you remember when Solomon first arrived?"

"Of course I remember." Rupert said, "I don't know what kind of person put it over, such a cute kid, who couldn't let go of it, right, to just leave someone at the door."

The family was shocked to replace out that the baby was Hector's, followed by surprise. They all thought that Hector would never replace someone he liked and would never have a child of his own, but to their surprise, he had created a baby without saying a word.

It's fair to say that the family was more surprised than pleased at the time, with the sole exception of Hector.

It was only as he slowly spent time with Solomon that he felt, more and more, inseparable from that Solomon Bay.

While the Rogers family were happy for a while, and Mrs Matriarch and Mr Fletcher were reveling in the fact that a baby grandson had fallen from the sky, Hector was immediately struck by a problem.

Who, exactly, had put the man on their doorstep, and how did that man, in turn, know that Solomon was his real son?

Hector's eyes sank, "The man who delivered the child has not shown up yet."

Rupert also shook his head, "Yes, as long as he comes out, this matter will be very well solved, alas, brother, you say, is it very strange, our family has never given up looking, but after so many years, still no clues, where do you think that person has hidden, gone abroad, or had some accident?"

"Even if it's out of the country, there will be a record of it and the Rogers family won't be able to replace out." Hector said slowly.

When Rupert thought about it, there was very little that the Rogers family could not do, but it was as if the other side had evaporated and could not be found.

"Yes, I remembered a question, if Juana is Solomon's mother, why have we searched for her for so long and not found her, as if she is, well, not very special." Rupert was puzzled.

Hector's eyes narrowed, and the confusion in his mind was the same as Rupert's.

The information on this woman was not difficult to replace and was nothing special, that could only mean that the one who left the child at the door at that time was not the same person as Juana.

Rupert's head was spinning and he waved his hand, "Forget it, forget it, let me ask you, what are you going to do with this woman?"

Without hesitation, Hector said, "What else can I do, just send it away."

Rupert was relieved for Eloise. With his brother's words, his sister-in-law would not be too aggrieved, and he was thinking the same thing as Hector, that he would send the man away, otherwise it would have been a discomfort to see him. "But she's Solomon's mum ..."

"Not sure yet." Hector said coldly, that piece of paper identification, he would not believe it.

Rupert let out an ah, "So you don't believe it, but she won't rest on her side, to put it mildly, how many women want to climb into the Rogers family, and how could she give up so easily when she has such a great opportunity." There was one more thing that Rupert didn't say, that Juana looked and didn't look like a good character to mess with.

Hector's eyes held a bit of a chill: "Whatever it is, it has to go away, and I won't let her spoil what's happening now!" After a pause, he said, "I love Eloise, and here, there is no room for anyone else."

Rupert was inexplicably stuffed with dog food and coughed dryly, "That, it's better to talk to your sister-in-law in person." Hector gave him a light look and resumed flicking through the papers, his mind, however, unable to return for a long time. Juana, who wouldn't give up so easily, knew it in his heart.
