Love Comes To Me
Chapter 506: When Things Go Wrong, There's a Demon

Catherine was still a bit dumbfounded when we ran into each other earlier on the island.

The air is now as dry as if she were a different person.

Compared to Eloise's surprise, Hector's reaction was much more muted.

He stared at it for a moment before he vaguely searched his mind for such a figure.

Had it not been for picking it up with Eloise, he would never have remembered this number.

Hector's eyes held no hint of emotion, instead he stared at the woman in front of him with some caution, "So what are you doing here? Something wrong?"

When things go wrong, there is a demon.

He did not believe that this woman had come to them for no reason.

Hector's cold tone caused Catherine to lose some of her composure and she smiled reluctantly, "After you guys left, I regained my memory and remembered what happened before, my name was Catherine. this time I came here especially to thank you for saving my life, I searched for you for a long time before I found out you lived here."

Eloise nodded knowingly, "That's right."

No wonder she looked at Catherine and thought she was different before.

It seems to be because of the recovered memory.

"No need."

Hector interjected from the sidelines, not really appreciating it.

The stiff, detached tone made Catherine's body tremble slightly.

Eloise elbowed Hector and whispered a warning to him, "Where do you get off talking like that, it should scare her."

Then Eloise, with a smile on her face, offered to take Catherine's hand.

"You've been standing outside for a long time, haven't you? Let's go inside."

With that, she eagerly ushered the man inside the house.

Behind him, Hector's thin lips pursed into a straight line, his lower jaw taut.

I could tell that he was not too happy.

But nothing was said, and with a movement of his slender body, he followed.

"Make yourself at home, don't be shy." Upon entering, Eloise acted like a hostess, skillfully entertaining Catherine. Catherine, for her part, surveys the furnishings of the house curiously, her eyes narrowed thoughtfully.

Eloise arched her eyebrows and asked affectionately, "By the way, what would you like to drink, tea or coffee?" "Coffee's ready, thanks Miss Eloise."

Eloise curled her lips and got up to replace a cup in the kitchen.

"I'll do it." She'd just gotten the ceramic mug out when Hector followed in on her heels and took it over.

"Why did you come over, it's not nice to leave your guests hanging."

Eloise slapped him and hurriedly looked over in the direction of the living room, where Catherine was sitting alone.

"What kind of guest is uninvited." Hector stifled a grunt and washed his glass regardless.

"Er... never mind, I'll go out and have a look."

Eloise looked at Hector's expression and realised that he was vaguely unimpressed with Catherine.

Eloise brought the fruit tray over and placed it on the coffee table, greeting Catherine, "The coffee will be ready in a minute, why don't you have some fruit first."

"Well, thanks Miss Eloise," Catherine smiled gently.

The two men began to chat in a borderline manner.

After each had said a little about what each other had been up to, Catherine added, "By the way, Miss Eloise, is there anything you guys need from me. Just ask, I meant what I just said about paying it forward."

At that, Eloise politely declined, "Well, we don't really have anything to help with at the moment, and I appreciate your kindness, but there's really no need for that."

Hector appeared just then, put his coffee down in front of Catherine and sat down next to Eloise, without saying a word.

A glass of warm water is also in her hand and is handed to Eloise's mouth.

Eloise cooperated by opening her mouth and taking a sip to moisten her throat.

The scene fell into Catherine's eyes and she narrowed her eyes as she continued, "There is a saying in your country. You must let me repay the kindness you have shown me by saving my life!" "This..."

Catherine's determined attitude puts Eloise in a bit of a bind, and she looks to Hector for help.

"We have no need for you to return the favour." Hector spoke coolly, refusing outright.

Catherine froze and then spoke, "Actually, I have thought about it, I will apply for Brother Hector's company and use my abilities to help the company become better, this is my wish, I hope you guys will make it happen." She bent solemnly towards Eloise and Hector.

"Ugh, don't you do that."

Eloise scrambled to help the man to his feet. "We appreciate your feelings of repayment, but actually Hector's company ... isn't that easy to get into."

She tries to dissuade Catherine.

Who knew that when she heard that, she looked up with a delighted face and said, "So Miss Eloise you've agreed? Don't worry, I'll be successful in my application!"

She talked to herself, and Eloise, choking on her words, eventually nodded along with Catherine.

After Catherine left, the two didn't take things too seriously.

But the next day, Catherine surprises them.

Whether it was her knowledge base or her formal skills, Catherine's performance in the interview was far ahead of the other candidates.

Even more so, her aura vaguely overpowered that of the recruitment supervisor.

Her ability to get into the Rogers Group is unquestionable.

Such talent is naturally appreciated by executives.

After a few rounds of interviews, the final nail in the coffin was given and Catherine was admitted to the Secretariat.

Catherine visited Eloise at the Rogers family as soon as the application was approved.

She hugged Eloise excitedly and said, "Great, Miss Eloise, I'm in your department, I'll be able to help you from now on."

Seeing how happy she was, Eloise smiled and said, "Are you that happy? It's a shame that you're in my department with your ability. Knowing you were going in here, the heads of other departments were red-eyed and sighing about the waste of talent."

"Then I don't care, I just want to spend time with Miss Eloise."

Catherine rubbed herself affectionately against Eloise.

"By the way, I happened to be passing by the mall and saw some really cute toys, so I bought them for Solomon, where is he, I'll go replace him and play."

Catherine's pretty face is overflowing with radiance.

Such a girl, Eloise naturally did not put up any defences and said sweetly, "He's in the toy room, but you happen to be here a few times, stop buying Solomon things, it's time to spoil him."

Since meeting Solomon, Catherine has been buying him all sorts of things whenever he comes to the door.

Small children cannot resist temptation and rejoice every time.

Eloise was not in a good position to be thin-skinned, so she turned a blind eye.

Over the past few days, Eloise and Solomon have grown very fond of Catherine.

"Who made Solomon popular? I'll go get him."

Catherine blinked and carried her racing toy into the room to replace Solomon.

"Solomon, look what Auntie brought you~"

"Pretty sister, you're here."

Solomon greeted her joyfully and saw the limited edition race car in Catherine's hand, his eyes went wide and he exclaimed, "Wow!"

Catherine knelt down and teased Solomon, "Do you like it? I'll give it to you if you like it, but Solomon has to give me a kiss."
