Love Comes To Me
Chapter 505: Don't you remember me?

Coming out of the doctor's office, Eloise took Hector's hand and shook it before saying happily, "It's wonderful that it only takes a year, don't you think?" There is nothing that would make her happier than for her to recover.

Hector took her hand, placed it on his lips and lightly dropped a question, nodded affectionately and replied, "Well, in a year's time, just as our baby is born and Mum is there, we'll have a big wedding by then and everything will be just right." The two came extremely close together, Hector's tall form looming down and dropping shadows across her brow.

The warmth of the breath and the bewitching words penetrate the eardrums, tickling like a plume floating through. As they looked up at each other, they saw the intense fire in each other's eyes and the clear reflections of each.

In the heat of the moment, Hector lowered his head, his handsome face coming closer and closer to her delicate lips. Eloise was limp against the wall, her eyes subconsciously closed and she wrapped her arms around his lean waist. "Cough cough!"

Just as the two lips were only a tail finger away, a clear cough startled Eloise into pushing Hector away violently. When she saw who was coming, Eloise blushed like a ripe apple.

She mused for a few moments and greeted Mr Fletcher, Mrs Matriarch with trepidation, "Dad, Mum."

They were standing not far from each other, and it was Mr Fletcher who had just coughed, and was now looking at Mrs Matriarch with a pained expression on his face.

A moment's attention would have revealed the flesh of his waist being twisted hard by Mrs Matriarch.

"Look at you, I thought you weren't allowed to talk, look what you've done to the child!" Mrs Matriarch whispered reproachfully to Mr Fletcher.

She should have covered the old man's mouth just now, disturbing the two lovers!

"That wasn't my way of reminding them to be careful in the hospital. ... Well, no more."

Again the colour of pain flashed across Mr Fletcher's stereotypical face, but it was quickly suppressed and he forced himself to endure the pain.

Eloise naturally knew what Mr Fletcher meant, and it was important to be mindful of the repercussions in a setting like the hospital.

She was the one who just got carried away and was seduced ... cough!

It's awkward for the person who runs into it, and even more awkward for the person who does the bad thing.

Eloise bowed her head to the dust as if she were a child who had done something wrong.

The little face is flushed and very restless.

Hector stepped forward, his face unruffled, and if he had to replace a hint of emotion, it would be resentment at the interruption of his own daughter-in-law.

"Dad, Mom, what are you doing here? Didn't you say you were going over to the side house to mediate the conflict?"

As he spoke, he wrapped his arms around Eloise and let her lean on his shoulder, not shielding her in any way.

Mrs Matriarch spoke up and explained, "The conflict over there took care of itself without us, and your father and I had wanted to get over here as soon as possible. But we went shopping for some meet and greet gifts, not knowing what the in-laws' mother would like, so we picked them all out, and there was a delay."

It was only then that Eloise noticed that Mr Fletcher was carrying a lot of stuff in his hands.

Behind him, the old butler stopped behind with a few men, carrying the same assortment of fruit and nourishment in their hands.

There is so much that Maryam can't actually eat it all by herself as a patient.

Eloise was embarrassed by the huge number of visitors.

This family has the same style of visiting patients, they are all so defeated...

The ward became more lively with the arrival of Mr Fletcher, Mrs Matriarch.

As soon as she pushed the door open, Mrs Matriarch immediately walked up and smiled kindly at Maryam, "Oops, you must be Eloise's mother, nice to meet you."

Maryam was a little overwhelmed by the enthusiasm of Mrs Matriarch and did not know who was coming.

Meeting Maryam's puzzled expression, Eloise hurriedly introduced, "Mum, this is Hector's mum and dad."

Maryam reacted with a sniff and was about to get up to meet her.

"Oh oh, it's the in-laws, hello there."

Solomon, sandwiched between the two women, was able to catch his breath and pressed Maryam's leg, saying in a milky voice, "Grandma, the doctor said you can't get out of bed yet~"

Mrs Matriarch nodded in agreement and helped to tuck the covers back in, "Solomon's right, in-laws, you're not too well at the moment, just lie down."

"That's quite a laugh for you guys." Maryam smiled shyly.

She lovingly. Stroking Solomon's head caressingly, she lay back on the hospital bed and surveyed the older two members of the Rogers family.

Mrs Matriarch looked back graciously and initiated the conversation, "I have often heard Eloise talk about you, you are so lucky to have such a wonderful daughter." The two men opened up the conversation and started commercial bragging.

"Not at all, thanks to the in-laws for looking after our Eloise these days."

"It's all about looking out for each other, we Hector, if I hadn't met Eloise I'd be afraid he'd end up alone, Eloise is such a rare child, kind and dutiful ..."

Mrs Matriarch shook Maryam's hand, not shying away from the fact that her own son was still standing off to the side, saying everything outwardly. Solomon also nodded his head when he heard the two old men compliment Eloise, "Mummy is still beautiful, the best mummy in the world." The look of pride drew a smile from the crowd.

The atmosphere in the ward is slowly coming alive with a little more vibrancy.

The two women meet and seem to have endless conversations around their children.

Outside the window, green branches sway in the air, reflecting the laughter inside the house.

Eloise fell into Hector's arms with a smile on her face, looking at the beauty of it all and wishing that time could stand still.

Warm days always fly by, and before you know it, time is whispering at your fingertips.

Maryam's body is recovering day by day and everything is heading towards the right track.

Eloise's daily commute between home and hospital is not at all tiring, only full of happiness.

On this day, she went to the hospital to chat with her mother as usual and was urged to go home at the end of the day. Hector drove over from work to pick her up..

The two walked home with a smile on their faces.

"You're back!"

As they were looking down, the voice of a surprised woman made them look up.

Eloise looked over at the sound and found a woman in a white dress hovering in front of her house.

She gazed at the woman's face, and the more she looked at it, the more familiar it looked.

"Miss Eloise, don't you remember me?" Catherine gestured in the air with her hands in the air, coming towards them.

As he approached, he stole a glance at Hector, quickly averted his eyes and called out to Mr. Hector.

Sweeping her eyes over the woman who stopped in front of her, even as she called out their names in a soft, yet affectionate voice.

Still not impressed with her in the slightest, Hector asked in a cold voice, "Who are you?"

At this Catherine was a little embarrassed, not realising that Hector didn't remember her at all.

"On the island, it was you who saved me."

It was then that it dawned on Eloise, clapping her hands together and exclaiming, "Ah, it's you, the one who lost her memory before, I didn't realise how much you had changed, I hardly recognised you."
