Love Comes To Me
Chapter 512: You're finally here

Fortunately, the pharmacy was not far from the police station and Joaquin was still there when Eloise rushed back.

Joaquin saw her return and went over to her and asked suspiciously, "Where have you been?"

Eloise gasped slightly, and a kindly light floated in her clear eyes.

"I saw you had a scrape on your face so I went to get some medicine, please let me apply it for you." Eloise raised the bag in her hand and looked up at him with a light smile on her lips. After all, Joaquin was hurt because of her and it was hard to feel bad.

She stood in the doorway, dressed in a simple white shirt and black trousers, the points of light falling on her face, framing her features in exquisite definition.

Ink-black hair flutters in the wind, with a few strands of broken hair clinging to his forehead. A smile ripples through those dark pupils, giving a sense of the beauty of age.

Looking at the smile on Eloise's face, Joaquin was lost in thought for a moment.

After a few seconds of frozen silence, Joaquin hurriedly withdrew his gaze and coughed lightly to hide his embarrassment.

Seeing the bag in Eloise's hand, he shook his head no, "No, it's a minor injury, it won't hurt."

Joaquin said he was about to leave and Eloise stepped forward to stop him.

"That won't work, it'll leave scars!"

With those words, Eloise unceremoniously pulled Joaquin to a chair and sat down, opening the bag in her hands.

Eloise's hair drifted into Joaquin's face with the evening breeze and he rolled the knot of his throat a little uncomfortably.

It was the first time he had ever been up close and personal with a girl.

This is a small injury that he would have habitually ignored if he had been in the past.

Not far away, a few policemen noticed the movement over here and scowled at him, smiling ambiguously.

All were glared at by him.

It was at this point that Eloise felt a twinge of something wrong; after all, she was already a family man.

If it was rumoured that she had administered the medicine for a man, I was afraid that it would invite unnecessary trouble.

Looking at Joaquin's slightly red ears, Eloise asked awkwardly, "Why don't you just do it yourself and I'll put the medicine on for you ..." At these words Joaquin's eyes flickered and a little panic set in.

"I'll do it myself."

With a cold drop, Joaquin then took the swab from her hand and felt for a spot to wipe it on his face.

But then a mirror suddenly appeared in front of him, showing his face and the place where he was hanging.

He looked up to see Eloise smiling at him, which was holding up a make-up mirror to him.

"Thanks." Joaquin curled his lips in thanks.

Eloise smiled quietly and reached out to point to where Joaquin had missed it, politely reminding him, "A little to the right, that missed it." "Here's this, put it on to isolate the germs." Eloise said and handed over the band-aid in her hand.

Joaquin's mouth twitched slightly as he looked at the cute style band-aid.

This is seriously out of character for him!

I wonder what those boys would laugh at him if he posted that.

"Ahem, the regular kind sold out, so I just took it with me, if you mind, forget it ..."

Looking at Joaquin's torn look, Eloise awkwardly tried to take it back.

Joaquin, however, suddenly raised his hand to take it from her and whispered, "It's okay."

Just then, the door to the police station was slammed open and a familiar, urgent voice rang out. "Eloise!"

At the sound of a human voice, Eloise jerked upright and looked back at the visitor with delight.

At that moment, Joaquin could clearly see the smile spreading across her face.

No longer that polite smile with detachment, it is a smile from the heart.

Like the violet flowers blooming all over the mountain, the whole person has a much brighter colour.

He looked up curiously at the visitor.

A tall man was seen rushing towards Eloise in three steps.

The next second, the two clung to each other as if they were trying to integrate each other into their blood.

The fear and the emotion of the lost and found flowed out and attracted a lot of attention.

"Hector, you're finally here." Eloise spoke with a touch of resignation and a slight sob in her voice.

She clutched at Hector's coat.

The face, which had just been bland, was now streaming with backward emotion, and the fingertips were trembling.

In fact, she was really scared, and all her calmness and composure collapsed the moment she saw Hector.

In his presence, she would never need armour.

Only the smell of Hector's cool scent could reassure her.

After seeing her, Hector leaned down and caressed Eloise's face, checking for wounds.

Then he asked nervously, "Are you all right, did they hit you? Were you hurt?"

On hearing the news that Eloise had almost been kidnapped, Hector's sanity went out the window and he came running against all odds. Hector's red-tinted eyes, like those of a wild beast, exuded a murderous intent that was intimidating.

It was as if it was going to get out of hand in the next second.

On the way, even his breath was tinged with pain, tearing at his heart and lungs and feeling as if he was about to suffocate.

Seeing how anxious he looked, Eloise shook Hector's hand and reassured him, "No, I'm fine, Officer Mo stopped by and saved me." Hector sniffed, the chill slowly receding from his body for a few moments, his chilled fingers wrapping tightly around Eloise's hand. After the nervousness, follow her line of sight to thank the person she is talking about.

The sight happened to meet Joaquin in the air.

The two men looked at each other for a few seconds, and the implication in their eyes gradually shifted.

Joaquin watched the two men move intimately and was wondering what their relationship was.

This time, seeing Hector's face, it wavered for a few seconds.

The face Joaquin is a familiar one, as news about him dominated the streets some time ago.

"You're Hector?" he frowned, taking Hector's name out of his mouth.

Hector approached and asked suspiciously.

"Oh? You know me?"

"President of the Rogers Group, running the business world at a young age, I don't think there's anyone in the North District who doesn't know you, is there?" There was a touch of sarcasm in Joaquin's tone, a hint of cudgel. As the words fell, the air instantly chilled by a few degrees.

He comes from a military and political family, with a strict family ethos and the teachings of cleanliness and honesty engrained in their bones.

There is little inherent goodwill towards businessmen who are unscrupulous in the business world and exploit the common people for their own gain.

Commercial giants like Hector, in particular, don't give a damn.

The same look of scrutiny was brought to Hector when he looked at him.

Hector also sensed the hostility emanating from Joaquin.

Joaquin came up with a deliberate provocation, and naturally Hector was no easy target.

And he doesn't have much of a soft spot for such officials.

An untamed smile curled up on his face as Hector deliberately choked out, "That's true, after all, I am rich beyond my wildest dreams."

There was a vague whiff of gunpowder between the two men's conversation.
