Love Comes To Me
Chapter 519: Hit and Run Vehicles

After the abortion pill incident, Eloise was not very nice to Josh, "To cut a long story short, what do you want this time?" Josh's face flashed a hint of inhibition.

The lawyer got up and explained for Josh, "Let me say this, Miss Eloise, don't be so hostile to your dad. He asked you to come here today because he wants to transfer his stake in the company to you." Eloise sniffed, stunned in place for several seconds.

It was a little hard to digest this for a while.

But no one noticed, outside the door, a pair of malevolent eyes, staring dead in the face at all this.

Ela hated it so much she was almost mad.

She had felt since yesterday that something was wrong with Josh and that's why she had followed him. But I never thought that she would be allowed to hear it all.

She clenched her fists in a death grip, her nails almost sinking into her flesh.

"Josh, how dare you do this to me?!" Ela tweaked nervously. Murmured.

And Eloise, that bitch, if she's gone, then all the property, it's all Agnes'.

The madness on Ela's face was shocking.

Inside the lawyer's office.

Eloise held the pen, her hand shaking the whole time.

She felt a bit in a trance and still couldn't believe that Josh would do this.

"Eloise, sign here." Josh's gentle voice rang in his ears.

Eloise looked back at him with a complicated look.

A few months ago, she couldn't have imagined that she and Josh, would have such a peaceful day.

"I ..." Eloise's throat was dry and she paused with just one word.

But Josh cut her off, saying firmly, "These were meant to be yours, and they're all I have to give you. I don't think you'll want anything else, so you'll have to take it." Eloise eventually signed off on it.

As Josh said, she deserves it and if she doesn't take it, someone else will take it and spoil it.

From the office, Eloise remained silent.

Josh, who wanted to talk to her, was at a loss for words and was mildly disappointed.

He wants nothing more now than for Eloise to have a little family chat with him.

Her life, for example, her work, like any unusual father.

In fact, it could have been this way years ago, and it was his own hand that snuffed it out.

When they reached the door, Eloise finally spoke. "I'll go first."

Josh hurriedly responded, "Hey, well, you that, is someone coming to pick you up, is it inconvenient for you to drive yourself, or I ..."

He was going to say I'll give you a lift otherwise, but Eloise refused.

She said dryly, "No."

Eloise walked over towards the car, a little heavy on her feet for some reason.

Heartily, and inexplicably, she looked back.

Josh stood still, unmoving, his gaze full of dismay.

As if not expecting Eloise to turn around suddenly, his eyes dodged for a moment and he asked, "What's wrong?"

Eloise looked at him steadily for a moment and was just about to speak.

Suddenly Josh's face changed dramatically and he darted over in horror.

The next thing Eloise knew, she felt a strong force hit her, and she covered her stomach, stumbling a few steps before she could stand, her heart burning with anger. Just then, however, there was a sudden, sharp, harsh sound of brakes behind her, a sound that was sharp and harsh enough to make people panic.

Eloise instinctively turned back, and for a moment her pupils contracted violently.

A few steps away, Josh's body flew high like a paper kite before landing heavily again.

A dull sound, like someone with a hammer, was hitting her on the head.

Blood, swarming out from beneath Josh.

For about ten seconds or so, Eloise's entire body was confused.

She stood there dumbfounded and unresponsive.

It was only when the noise around her grew louder that her world began to function again.

"Hurry up and take them to the hospital, they're bleeding a lot."

"The hit-and-run vehicle got away, damn it."

Eloise came to Josh on weak legs, her hands shaking so badly that she reached for her phone several times before pulling it out. "120? I've had a car accident here ..." Josh lay on the floor, not yet completely unconscious, he pulled at the corners of his mouth to reassure Eloise, "I'm fine, don't worry Eloise, you're going to be fine..."

The ambulance arrived immediately afterwards and Josh was lifted into the car.

Eloise followed, her stomach lurching at the strong smell of blood.

When she arrived at the hospital, she got out of the car and squatted on the floor throwing up so much that tears came out of her eyes.

She held her throat and felt her heart, liver, spleen, stomach and lungs ache and seize.

After throwing up, she wiped her face and stumbled back to the emergency room.

A doctor rushed in, grabbing Eloise and saying sharply, "Who is the patient's family, and who are you to him?"

"I'm his daughter, how is he?"

The doctor flipped through the test results and said seriously, "The situation is very serious, the patient has injured his internal organs and needs a blood transfusion. But our hospital blood bank doesn't have enough blood to operate." Eloise froze and yelled, "Then you have to save him, you can't just stand by and watch him bleed on and on!"

Her voice took on a sobbing tone.

The doctor frowned and said, "Of course we want to save him, we have applied to the top to transfer blood from another hospital, but we may not be able to make it in time, so please prepare the family."

Eloise sniffed and tears fell down her cheeks as she cried, "Then how about drawing my blood, I'm his daughter, my blood must be okay, you draw my blood."

Lifted the shirt up on his arm and prepared to give blood.

But the doctor refused.

He looked Eloise up and down and hit the nail on the head, "You're pregnant, aren't you, all the more reason to take care of your body and not make fun of it." After being rejected by the doctor, Eloise's entire body panicked.

Lukewarmly, he looked at the ground, not knowing what to do.

The red lit emergency room was like a demon, as if it could devour someone in the next second.

Eloise pulled out her phone with shaking hands and dialed a number.

As soon as the call was answered, she immediately cried, "Hector, help my dad."

Hector was still in the meeting when he heard Eloise's voice and stood up abruptly, bringing his chair down in a panic.

There was a thud and the room was filled with silence.

Ignoring the room of executives, Hector said as he headed out of the conference room, "Eloise, what's going on, take your time."

Eloise was crying her eyes out, "My dad ... had a car accident and the doctor said... the hospital doesn't have any blood and can't do the surgery, Hector you have to come, I... ..."

"Eloise, listen to me, don't cry and don't be afraid, I'll be right there and I'll figure it out."

Hector gave a quiet reassurance, then turned his head and instructed Marian.

"Contact all major hospitals and prepare blood plasma immediately, go!"

Marian answered and rushed off to get ready.
