Love Comes To Me -
Chapter 520: Deliberate Murder
Hector raced all the way to the hospital and caught a glimpse of Eloise cowering in the corridor.
He walked over quickly and took her in his arms, hugging her tightly, heartbroken, soothing her over and over again, "Honey, it's okay, it's okay, I've contacted someone to send blood, don't worry.". Eloise's heart, which had been raised half a day, finally relaxed the moment she saw Hector.
She threw her arms desperately around Hector's shoulders and howled.
After letting her vent, Hector gently let go a little and paled when he saw that Eloise was covered in blood.
"You're hurt?"
"I'm fine, I got it when I was helping my dad."
Seeing the blood stain on her shoulder, Eloise huffed and cried again.
Soon Hector's men brought back the plasma and the hospital performed urgent surgery on Josh.
This time, Eloise is standing outside the operating theatre, looking at the flashing lights and pacing anxiously outside the door.
Her fingertips trembled slightly, her two hands crossed and twisted against each other, her lips were bleeding from her bite.
Hector came over to her and his heart throbbed slightly at the sight of her six-footed look.
He stepped forward and pulled the person into his arms, saying in a mute voice to reassure her, "He'll be fine, don't worry." Eloise smelled the faint scent of mint on him and calmed down considerably.
Burying his head in his shoulder, his eyes tickled with a complex look of worry, fear and a little bit of sadness.
Fluttering long eyelashes, a haze fell over her face.
"Hector, I thought I hated him so much, thought I would never forgive him for what he did to me and my mother."
Eloise's voice couldn't stop catching.
As he spoke, he clutched the corner of Hector's shirt as hard as if he had used his life's strength to articulate what was on his mind.
"But the moment he pushed me away and saw him fall in a pool of blood, I was suddenly scared that he would just die, leaving me no way to even hate him ...
I still have his blood running through my body after all... I can't help it ... I'm afraid, I'm afraid he'll die trying to save me."
With a lump in her throat, Eloise shuddered and became slightly incoherent.
Her pale face was covered in anguish and remorse, and teardrops slid down the corners of her eyes.
It also rolled his heart.
Hector painfully caressed her brow and could only tell her over and over again, "He's not going to die, let's trust the doctors, okay?"
Eloise hid her face and nodded in pain.
Outside the operating theatre, it took nearly five hours for that light to change colour.
Then the door to the operating theatre was pushed open and doctors in white coats came out.
Eloise and Hector immediately rushed forward, "Doctor, how is he?"
Between questions, Eloise's hand was shaking as she held Hector.
Taking off the mask, the doctor said in a deep voice, "The operation was successful and the patient is temporarily out of danger of illness, but the patient's condition is not optimistic either and needs further observation." At this point, the only words echoing in Eloise's mind were those of a successful operation.
Frozen in place, no sound was made.
Hector responded by wrapping his arms tightly around Eloise, "That's fine, thank you Doctor."
The tense spirit slackens and the foot falters, falling to the side.
Hector caught her in his eyes.
"The patient will be transferred to the ICU ward, so you family members should calm down and come back to visit later."
With that, the doctor left at a brisk pace.
Eloise and Hector waited outside after Josh was transferred to the ICU ward.
When it was visiting time, Eloise and Hector put on their protective suits and walked in.
At the moment Josh is lying flat on his back in a hospital bed, his face wiped clean of blood.
There is also a breathing tube attached to his body and many medical devices inserted in other locations to assist him with normal life activities.
The oxygen mask covering his mouth and nose emits a slight mist at intervals, proving that he is still alive.
It was a scene that forced Eloise's eyes red.
She didn't come forward and just looked at Josh from a distance.
To her, Josh is the most familiar of strangers.
She hadn't even looked him in the eye properly.
On closer inspection, I see how much Josh has aged in just a few years.
The original spirited man is long gone, now grey at the temples and with a few strands of silver in his hair.
With a bitter smile, she looked at Josh in the hospital bed and mumbled her lips, "Why are you having such a miserable time?"
Shouldn't the mother and daughter, who had abandoned them, have a good life of pampering?
How did you end up in this situation?
Hector saw the grief in her eyes and his lips pursed into a straight line as he tightened his arm around her shoulders.
After they had been in the ward for a while, Hector looked at the tiredness on Eloise's brow and said, "Eloise, let's go back.
You will not be able to take it physically if you keep this up, I have arranged for a carer to come and look after him, he will be fine."
Eloise, her eyes slightly dull, sniffed and nodded stiffly.
The body leaned into Hector's arms and walked out without a word.
Just outside the door, I saw Marian waiting outside, waiting expectantly.
When he saw them, he stepped forward in a hurry and looked at Eloise to say something.
"Just say what's going on." Hector commanded coldly.
Marian nodded, and this unfolded.
"As you ordered, the first time the police were called to arrest someone, the woman who was driving the car, after the police wanted her, was quickly caught. The police side has seen the CCTV footage and has tentatively ruled that she committed premeditated murder, and the later charges should result in a heavy sentence."
Hector hmmed, subconsciously looking down at Eloise's expression.
She did not replace her face rippling.
Her voice was flat, as if she had heard something unimportant.
"Let's go back, I'm tired."
Indeed, it is also true that it is irrelevant.
Whatever happens to Ela, she deserves it.
Such a person did not deserve her sympathy or concern.
Hector's dark pupils were still devoured with tenderness as he wrapped his arms around her waist and softly responded.
"Good."
The two slowly departed at the same pace, their snuggled backs casting shadows on the ground and swaying in the light.
Behind them, Marian watched their fading figures disappear from view, his pupils contracting and his fists unconsciously getting tighter and tighter.
The jealousy in her heart was growing so strong that it was about to spill out.
The shadowy thought that had sprung up in her mind was also growing stronger. Why, was it not Eloise who had just been hit?
But she soon collected herself.
After another long pause, Marian lifted her feet and walked out of the hospital.
Back in her room, Marian couldn't get her mind off things for a long time.
The image of Hector's handsome face and him leaving with Eloise in his arms echoed in my mind.
