Love Comes To Me -
Chapter 521: There's plenty of opportunity for you to get revenge
Looking out of the window at the heavy night, the darkness bursting from her eyes turned deep. At the end of the day, Marian pulled out her mobile phone and dialled a series of foreign numbers. Very soon someone picked up, and it was her trained minder.
Responsible for guarding Agnes abroad.
"Get that woman over here to the phone."
The man at the other end hmmed, and a series of footsteps sounded as he sought.
Within moments, Agnes' shrill cry came through.
"Let go of me, what are you doing!"
Escorted to one side, Agnes' face was covered in fear.
"Miss Agnes, how have you been? You're still so hot-tempered, I guess you're still not being coached enough."
Marian's grim voice came through the phone and Agnes blanched in fear.
She opened her defensive spikes and tried to scare Marian.
"You crazy woman, let me go or my mum and dad won't let you go!"
Marian snorted and deliberately broke the news to Agnes.
"Oh, you're so naive, your father is now lying in a hospital bed, alive or dead, for Eloise.
As for your mother, she can't even protect herself, she'll be in jail in a few days, so what will they do to save you?"
Sure enough, Agnes, who had been flailing about, would now be pale with fear.
One shook his head vigorously and said, "No, you lied to me, you lied to me!" The cries were more harsh than the others.
Marian had expected her to say this and sent over a photo of Ela being arrested.
In an instant, Agnes' face changed as suddenly as if she had been struck by lightning.
Agnes was in a hurry and couldn't believe it when she looked at the picture that Marian had sent her.
The photograph shows Ela's grimy head bowed and her hands handcuffed in a miserable figure.
"How come, why would my mother be arrested?"
After a moment of dumbfounded silence, she suddenly cried out in agitation, and the man next to her hastened to hold her down. On the other end, Marian was silent, watching quietly as she crumbled a little.
When no one answered, Agnes thought about what Marian had said and the chord in her head hitched.
"Eloise, did that little bitch Eloise do this to you!"
Eyes blinded by hatred, Agnes puts all the fault, rightfully so, on Eloise's head!
She struggled violently and shouted towards the bystanders, "Aaaahhhh, let go of me, I'm going back to kill her!"
Marian listened on the other end and curled his lips slightly.
Agnes was really as brainless as she thought she was.
The slightest bait and switch and take it out on Eloise.
She suddenly changed her tone and said to Agnes in a serious voice, "I can understand how you feel, after all, I've been victimised too.
But it is useless for you to be in a hurry now; with your present powers, you are still weak to seek revenge."
"You guys cut Miss Agnes loose for now, she's not going to run." She instructed her men at the other end.
A slap on the wrist followed by a sweet date is the best strategy to buy off a silly white girl like Agnes.
As luck would have it, Agnes' spilling and fighting energy soon went down.
Hearing Marian say that made my head spin all of a sudden.
"So what do you think I should do, am I never going to be able to do anything with that bitch Eloise in my life?
She's lucky to be in the company of Hector! With his shelter, I can't even get close to Eloise."
Agnes hammers her head in chagrin.
At the sound of Hector's name, a flicker of ruthlessness crossed Marian's eyes.
She said coldly, "A great tree may shelter the wind and rain, but he has roots and cannot move."
Hector is not around Eloise every minute of the day.
Agnes heard something of the mystery and weakly spoke up to ask, "What you mean is ..."
Marian saw that the fish were hooked and slowly pulled up the rod.
In a night of darkness, her lightly flaming red lips opened to the phone, slowly seducing.
"Meaning, there's plenty of opportunity for you to get revenge, but you can't do anything rash, you have to listen to me ..."
An undercurrent slowly rises in the night...
Inside the Rogers family study, two men are standing at the moment.
Hall was reporting his replaceings to Hector.
"Prince, I found out where Catherine went, she fled the North District that day and went in the direction of A-town, next door.
The group that attacked Madame also appeared in A-town shortly afterwards, and our men reported that they were in pursuit of Catherine."
Hector looked aghast, a ghostly glint in his deep black pupils.
Hall then added, "That woman, it seems, has something hidden on her that they are looking for, and keeps after her, and anyone Catherine touches suffers."
"That thing has something to do with the data from her space research in E?" Hector asked in a hushed voice.
The results of Thomas's previous investigation, and Catherine's own confessions, reveal that there is a group of people who are eyeing the data she has worked out. Hall nodded and replied, "Most likely."
After all, they weren't quite sure what the group was looking for, and could only make a rough guess.
Hector's face sank slightly colder.
Things are getting trickier and trickier.
This matter, on a larger scale, may also involve the state level.
By the reaction of the group, what Catherine has is extraordinary.
But the strange thing is that Catherine could have had no need to touch him and Eloise if it was just an escape.
The fewer people she touches, the less risk she runs of being exposed.
But the fact that she's taking this risk to get close to Eloise is rather suspicious!
With so many mysteries lingering, Hector's unease was vaguely magnified and he instructed Hall, "You leave for A-town immediately, that woman is a ticking time bomb, make sure you catch her." Hall nodded his head in agreement. "Okay, I'll be right there."
When he had left, Hector stood by the window, the damp, chilly breeze pouring in, a cold chill flushing down his back.
Hector rubbed his lips together and stared in thought for a few seconds, his mind still unsettled.
There was always a feeling that things were not being done properly.
With a thought, he fished up his jacket, opened the door and headed outside.
Mrs Matriarch, who had come out for a drink of water, saw him hurrying out of the house and asked a question.
"Hector, where are you going at this time of night, not to keep Eloise company?"
Hector looked down to change his shoes and responded, "Eloise and Solomon are both asleep, I'm going to Grandpa's and will be right back."
"Hmm? What do you want with your grandfather in the middle of the night?"
"There's something to discuss with him, so you should leave it alone and rest."
Without much explanation, Hector grabbed his car keys and ran out.
Mrs Matriarch looked at his departing back and her brow knitted.
One could only walk quickly to the door and shout, "Then drive carefully on your way."
Hector waved his hand to indicate that he knew.
The car sped off down the road in the direction of the Godbold family home.
