Love Comes To Me -
Chapter 534: How does it feel to stay here?
Eloise quickly reacted to what it was and tried to hold her breath, but it was too late.
She has inhaled some of it.
Behind her, Agnes stood back, one hand on Eloise's hand, the other forcefully covering her mouth and nose.
On this handkerchief, she had poured in the rest of the ecstasy she had fed Josh.
Eloise's struggles slowly became less.
She struggled to stay awake, but her consciousness was slowly becoming muddled and she couldn't get her body to work. Closing her eyes for all of a moment, her fear grew larger.
Hector's face came to mind and she opened her mouth to call out, but nothing came out.
Eventually her arms sagged helplessly and her grip on her hand loosened and she collapsed to the floor.
Meanwhile, Marian walked in.
Ten minutes later, the bodyguard emerged from inside carrying Eloise, followed by Agnes.
The group walked towards the cars parked outside.
Marian stumbled to the door and hissed, "You can't leave, stand still ..."
Her right hand covered the wound and the blood kept flowing out, dripping and falling onto the floor. Agnes gave a slight pause, then without hesitation, directed the bodyguard to get Eloise into the car. Then the car took off.
...
Eloise woke up languidly, her head heavy and her body extremely uncomfortable.
Almost immediately, she noticed that something was wrong.
For her face, pressed firmly to the ground.
That is to say, her whole body was lying on the ground and the end of her nose smelled a somewhat unpleasant, salty odour. Eloise tried to sit up, only to replace that her hands and feet were tied with rope.
Her heart thudded and she quickly glanced around.
There is not a lot of space and the light is a bit dim.
There is a very small window in the upper right hand corner and many piles of goods around it.
The wind blowing in carried a hint of saltiness and appeared to be on a boat.
The thought cleared up in Eloise's mind that she had been kidnapped.
Her heart was suddenly filled with panic and fear, and her hands and feet went cold as she bit her lower lip to calm herself down.
She couldn't panic, the situation wasn't clear yet and she had to be calm.
Eloise struggled first to sit up and moved a little to the wall, her back against it, and she settled a little.
Then rubbing his hands together hard, he finally loosened the rope a little, but that was all.
The knots were expertly tied and could not be untied without the help of a third person.
Eloise took a breath and rested against the wall for a moment.
There was no one in here, the hatch was closed and someone must have been guarding the outside.
The situation is currently unknown and Eloise does not want to draw people in.
She spun her brain, thinking fast.
The kidnappers are in her father's small townhouse and although she doesn't know if Josh is involved in the affair, Eloise is now very disappointed in him. The other person was very quick to strike and she didn't see anything.
It was clear that the man was prepared, and it was only her own lack of vigilance that was to blame for falling for someone else's trap.
It's no use talking about it now.
Eloise tries to surmise the identity of the kidnappers.
Two scenarios, one with Josh's knowledge, or complicity, this is left aside for now.
The second is that Josh was unaware that someone had taken advantage of their relationship.
Then this person would have known who she was, but she rarely offended anyone and had nothing on her that could be sought.
But she had a title that made many people jealous, she was Hector's wife.
Hector equals walking money, and as many know, he dotes on his wife.
In that case, they would certainly have reached out to Hector and asked him to call in the money.
Hector's side would not believe it and was bound to hear a few words from her.
But up to now, no one has bothered her, so it is clear that this is unlikely.
Another possibility is that the kidnappers were Hector's opponents.
After all, with a business as big as he is, it's only logical that he has a few rivals.
Such ones are mostly designed to force Hector to give in and hate him, in which case her little life would be in danger.
Eloise was apprehensive.
But she is convinced that Hector will come to her rescue and that he will be able to replace her.
This belief has been gained from spending a long time together.
Only, when would he replace her?
Eloise slid down the wall and onto the floor, her heart not so scared anymore.
Staring at the closed hatch, she suddenly called out impulsively, "Is there anyone out there?"
No one answered, it was silent.
Eloise bit her lip and continued shouting without letting up, "Do you want money, let me go and I'll give you money, double whatever you want."
"Can I have someone, I'm Hector's wife and he's very rich and will certainly accommodate you."
"Anyone? It would definitely be more beneficial for you to release me than for you to arrest me."
Eloise's throat nearly broke as she shouted, but still no one paid any attention to her.
It was as quiet inside as it was outside, as if she was the only one.
The light in Eloise's eyes dimmed, utterly at a loss as to what to do, and she could only take one step at a time.
She was so bereft that she crouched on the floor in silent apprehension.
And at that moment, outside, Agnes stood in a hidden corner, watching the scene with a smug smile on her face.
Not only does she want Eloise dead, but before that, she wants her to be on her toes.
Sure enough, Eloise was never able to relax throughout because of the unknown.
The overwhelming worry combined with the fear made her faint again.
Before she passed out, she covered her stomach and murmured in her mind, "I'm sorry baby, mommy gave you a scare.
After a while, she opened her eyes in a daze and found herself still in that small place.
It wasn't a dream, she had really been kidnapped.
Eloise was thirsty, hungry, tired and scared, and in a bit of a bad state.
Just as she was thinking about when the kidnappers would show up, there were sudden footsteps outside.
Eloise flinched and quickly sat up straight, her back against the wall, staring warily at the hatch.
"How is she?"
"Passed out again."
A very dismissive voice said, "Tsk, what a useless thing."
Eloise somehow thought the voice was familiar, but couldn't hear it very well because it was through the door panel.
She was in a state of shock and disbelief that it was a woman who had captured her?
"Open the door." The female voice commanded.
Immediately afterwards, the hatch was pushed open and a large swathe of sunlight fell in.
Eloise instinctively closed her eyes. Then she heard a soft laugh.
Only a line of people walked in, the one at the head of the group looking at her with a smile and in a good mood as he greeted her. "How's it going, how does it feel to stay here?"
Mentally startled, Eloise looked up at the person who walked in and her eyes instantly widened.
"It's you!"
This man turned out to be Agnes!
Agnes seems to have lost a bit of weight and her face is a lot rougher than when she was with the Thompson family.
