Love Comes To Me -
Chapter 545: Drunkenness
The night breeze picks up again and the curtains are raised high.
The early morning light smashes down on Hector's dishevelled face, his spiritedness, a little worn away by time.
The hostility and resilience under those eyes are increasingly replaced by bleakness and frustration, without light.
"It's almost half past eight, why isn't brother up yet?"
Rupert came hurrying down the corridor, muttering.
Walk to the front and bang on the door of the master bedroom.
"Brother, are you up yet?"
There was no movement inside the house, so Rupert gritted his teeth and unscrewed the door handle, replaceing it surprisingly unlocked. When I walked in, I was shocked by the wolves in the room.. shocked.
The house no longer smelled of alcohol, but one could tell by looking at the bottle how much Hector had drunk.
"Brother, get up and go to the office, so many things are waiting for you, how can you have time to get drunk and die here!"
Rupert was furious and called Hector up to get the man to the office anyway.
It's good to have something to do and not have to think so much.
Hearing Rupert's roar, Hector's eyes flickered slightly, as if he had made up his mind, and he looked over at Rupert.
The bottom of his eyes did not ripple and he responded in an extremely flat tone, "You can take over the company, you are perfectly capable of doing it now."
His expression didn't look like he was joking, and even, on the rare occasion, became a little more determined.
Rupert froze, his pupils dilating violently.
After a moment of brain reaction, with a slightly open mouth, she asked, "What about you, what are you going to do?"
There was no reason to panic.
Hector's eyes rolled and he looked around, a hint of imperceptible grief staining his face.
Then said lightly, "I'm going to go abroad and do something."
When he heard the word "abroad", Rupert couldn't be more calm and his temples popped.
Did it mean that his brother was trying to escape from this sad place?
He still has Solomon with him and them, and doesn't care about anything?
Staring at Hector, Rupert persuaded anxiously, "Brother, why are you doing this! If my sister-in-law was still around, she wouldn't want to see you like this!" Rupert is as anxious as a hot pan, and in his haste, he habitually moves Eloise out.
In such a decrepit state, he had to go alone to that foreign country to heal.
It's a complete attempt to close off your world.
Hector was seen with a slight frown in his eyes and a painful look of divine sadness spilling out of them.
Rupert slapped his mouth in chagrin at the sight and immediately changed the subject.
"Brother, even if you don't think of us, you have to think of Solomon, he's your own son, you're just going to leave and not even care about Solomon?"
He shouted at the top of his voice and drew Mr Fletcher, Mrs Matriarch.
Solomon was also carried over and this would be quietly leaning against Mrs Matriarch with a big puzzled look on his face.
Mr Fletcher looked at the solemn looking brothers and, with a slight scowl, enquired, "What's going on?"
As soon as the words left his mouth, Rupert pulled Mrs Matriarch over and made things a little more serious.
The expression on his face was also very serious, "Dad, Mum, please persuade brother, he's leaving us all behind to go abroad! He doesn't want to care about anyone anymore!" Mr Fletcher, Mrs Matriarch sniffed and their hearts thudded.
Mrs Matriarch in particular, who could understand exactly how Hector felt, looked up at her eldest son and asked carefully, "Hector, is this true?"
Hector nodded, and all of a sudden there was an uproar in several people's minds. A wave.
At that Mrs Matriarch stood firmly on her feet and blushed as she forced herself to calm down and enquired, "Can you tell Mum what it's because of? Maybe it's because of Eloise ..." "No."
Hector spoke up and interrupted Mrs Matriarch before that name could be sounded.
It's not because of Eloise that he wants to escape, or rather, not all because of Eloise ...
"I just want to go and sit in a branch abroad, where development is slightly weaker than at home, and, by the way, replace Agnes."
His tone was flat, a light shadow falling over his face.
With a determined look, he told everyone that he was serious.
Mr Fletcher sighed from the sidelines, since no one could change what he had already decided.
Looking at each other and Mrs Matriarch, both had the answer in their minds.
It was Rupert who, after hearing Hector's explanation, still couldn't let go.
He still felt that his elder brother could not let go of his sister-in-law, and was still so decadent at home, when he arrived in that foreign country. Who knows what he might do without his loved ones.
"Brother, give me some more time, I'll replace Agnes."
He tried to convince Hector with this.
This Agnes, too, had the ability to evade the net of heaven and earth they had laid down and how they could not replace anyone.
"No, I was already planning to come myself."
Hector said decisively, a flash of determination in his eyes.
If he can't replace her at home, he'll replace her abroad! He will replace her at the ends of the earth!
One day, he was sure he would meet up somewhere!
Rupert was about to say something else when Mr Fletcher squeezed his shoulder and shook his head.
At this Mrs Matriarch's face rose to a gentle glow as she said softly, "Now that you have made your plans, go ahead.
The company has Rupert, and me and your dad to help out, so don't worry about it, just do what you want."
Being a parent is always the same.
When a child wants to fly, they never stop.
I only wish to spread my wings and be their strongest backing.
The crowd's eyes were slightly moistened and their hearts were filled with emotion.
The moment we look at each other, the feelings are all in our eyes.
"Daddy, where are you going, don't you want Solomon anymore?"
Hector's coat was tugged and a sobbing voice echoed into the air.
Solomon lifted his eyes and looked at Hector with watery tears, his eyes filled with fear and reluctance.
His heart softened, Hector knelt down and stroked Solomon's head, saying warmly, "Why, you're going with Daddy."
Solomon has no mum and it would be so sad if he didn't have a dad again.
Early on, Hector included Solomon in his plans.
At Hector's words, Solomon's tense face eased.
Relieved, he reached around Hector's neck and leaned over his shoulder, father and son comforting each other.
The three men looked on with dismay.
With three less people in the house, it will certainly feel uncomfortable later on.
But no one said anything.
But with Solomon by Hector's side, at least, they won't have to worry about Hector taking his own life.
Again, leaving might be a good way to help Hector let go and come out of the darkness.
At dinner, the family gathered together and no one said anything.
The atmosphere was sad for a while and Solomon knew enough not to make a scene.
The next day, Hector and Rupert turned up at the office together.
They held an internal meeting and also invited media reporters over to witness the event.
