Love Comes To Me -
Chapter 584: Bringing Mummy and Sister Back
Even if there were a thousand words, they would only converge into a scrupulously polite and humble plea, "Stay."
The raspy, slightly cool voice flowed over the tip of her heart and Eloise's fingertips trembled slightly, completely shaken.
She looked to the side at Rowson for a moment, and her eyes became a few shades firmer.
"Rowson, I want to stay, I want to know what happened before, will you stay with me?"
At this moment, Rowson's heart felt like a knife, and a bitter taste spread to the corners of his mouth.
It was a long moment before he nodded.
There was simply no way he could refuse Eloise's request.
After he nodded, the eyes of several people around him suddenly glowed with light.
Hector and the others were relieved to see that Eloise had agreed to stay.
Sweety sucked her thumb and burst into a happy smile, a sentence she understood.
Reaching out towards Eloise, who saw this and took her in her arms.
After wrapping her arms around Eloise's neck, Sweety said excitedly, "Don't be sad brother, wait until tomorrow when Sweety comes over to play with you!" Little Sweety doesn't know what the scene is like yet, all she knows is that she can stay and be with her brother, and that's all that matters to her.
"Okay, brother will wait for you." Solomon said in a slightly drawled tone.
He watched with envy as Sweety was able to pamper herself with impunity in Eloise's arms.
"In that case, then, we'll leave Mr. Rowson alone for now."
With those words, Hector waved his hand and Thomas led the way for Eloise and the others to make way.
Rowson looked at Hector's face and couldn't help but clench his palms.
He couldn't get angry because Eloise was present.
Immediately after several people left, Hector returned home.
Solomon lay dazed on Hector's shoulder, exhausted from a night of tossing and turning.
Rupert heard the sound and came down sleepily.
"Brother, what have you been doing?"
"Rowson was going to return home tonight, but I stopped him and Eloise agreed to stay in the country for now." After placing Solomon on the sofa, Hector said lightly.
"Oh... what?!"
At first Rupert didn't react, but after he had digested the meaning of Hector's words, his eyes snapped open. "Brother, are you saying that your sister-in-law is willing to stay? That means we still have a chance to win?"
Knowing Rupert's jumpy nature, Hector took the lead and moved away from Rupert's side, but was still irritated by the sound of his voice.
He said after rubbing his ears helplessly, "Keep your voice down, Mum and the others are still asleep."
As soon as the words left her mouth she saw a few people slowly walking down the stairs and Mrs Matriarch looked at Rupert with a sultry look on her face and said, "We're all awake and it's hard not to be with Rupert's voice." Aisly, also with a sad face, went to Rupert's side and gave him a hard pinch at the waist.
Rupert ate the pain and said accusingly, "I'm not just anxious for my brother, he's going to be a little late today and my sister-in-law will fly away."
Mrs Matriarch glanced at Solomon, who was lying asleep on the sofa, and asked softly, "Hector, what's going on?"
"Let me tell you this, the man who came with my sister-in-law today saw that we recognized her and, being weak-minded, tried to take her away while we were all asleep, just as my brother intercepted him."
Before Hector could say anything, a fast-talking one spoke up next to him.
Hector nodded, signalling that Rupert was telling the truth.
Mrs Matriarch smacked the table and said with some anger, "And you want to take my daughter-in-law away, what a joke!"
"So what are you going to do next?" Mr Fletcher spoke up.
Now that Eloise is in the hands of Rowson, it's inevitable that the night will be long.
When the words left his mouth, Hector didn't say anything and Rupert thought for a moment before saying, "I think throwing Solomon over there is the best way to go.
A child would make your sister-in-law feel less defensive, plus Solomon being so smart could surely guide your sister-in-law to recover her memories, not to mention that Solomon could also trigger your sister-in-law's motherly love, making it impossible for her to refuse, don't you think so, brother?"
At these words, Hector nodded in agreement.
"In a case like my sister-in-law's I have consulted the doctors in the hospital, and they said that my sister-in-law's temporary memory loss is most likely due to lack of oxygen and seawater erosion. It is possible to recover, and if the stimulation is strong enough, it can trigger sister-in-law's memory centre."
Aisly's well-timed intervention gave the Rogers family a renewed sense of hope.
Rupert looked at Aisly with an incredulous look upon hearing this and said in amazement, "When did my wife get so smart?"
One can only imagine what Rupert would have got in return, prompting a wail from Rupert.
The Rogers family couldn't help but laugh at the interaction between the young couple.
"By the way, Hector, that little girl doll, there's no telling if she's one of our Rogers family kids, I told you why I liked her so much the last time Rupert brought her back.
What's more, she has been bumped into by our family three times, so that means that God wants her to be identified with us, and that little girl looks like she is only two or three years old.
It's the right time for Eloise to go missing, it's our Rogers family's baby, make sure you bring it back to me, I want to love my grandson."
"She... her name is Sweety and she's two years old."
Solomon woke up at some point and a sticky voice came out.
"Then that's right, it's our Rogers family boy no doubt!" Mrs Matriarch said excitedly, clapping her hands.
When Solomon woke up, Hector took him straight into his arms and said, "Solomon, Daddy has a big job for you. It's a matter of whether or not we get Mummy and Sister back, can you do it?" Solomon was immediately enthused when he heard it was about Mummy and Sweety.
Getting off Hector's body with a serious face, he said, "Don't worry, Daddy, I'll bring Mummy and my sister back."
As Hector nodded in relief, Rupert pulled Solomon over to him and admonished him uneasily, "Solomon, I'm telling you. All the hopes of the Rogers family are now in your hands, so you must live up to them." "Don't worry little uncle, I'll do it." Solomon promised solemnly.
Picking Solomon up, Hector said to the few people on the couch, "Well, there's nothing more to do now, so let's all go back to bed."
And at this moment in the hotel, Eloise sits in front of the window and quietly watches the city.
Eloise didn't know what to say as she watched the busy figure of Rowson beside her.
The man said he was his husband, so who was Rowson?
Who really lied to her?
After a long moment of hesitation, Eloise spoke up, "Rowson ... I want to talk to you." Rowson's hand holding the dress froze in a flash, and then slowly walked over to it.
