Love Comes To Me
Chapter 596: She's the one who made a fool of herself

After discussing the matter, they went to the meeting room.

Hector introduced her to the company's shareholders and then began to negotiate the terms of the partnership.

In the conference room, Eloise's soft and gentle voice alternates with Hector's slightly cooler voice, like a sonata, which is particularly nice to hear. Inside, there are occasional whispered conversations from bystanders, like chords.

The sounds all floated tightly in the air and it was clear that the negotiations were going well.

Time passed between fingers and the negotiators inside sat for an hour before the matter drew to a close.

"That's it for today then, we have no more questions on our end, I'll have someone draw up a contract as soon as possible and contact you to sign it then." The words fell, and Eloise looked at Hector with a questioning look.

After closing the file, Hector nodded with satisfaction.

Eloise also sort of relaxed a lot and was quite happy with the result.

Getting up and walking towards Hector, who was in the centre of the opposing camp, Eloise kindly offered him her hand.

Hector's eyes fell on her, his dark pupils overlaid with fiery emotions that were easily read.

A smile devoured the corners of his mouth and his nice voice flowed through the room.

"Then I wish us well in our cooperation."

Hector said, extending his hand towards her.

His long, slender fingers rested on the clasp and he rose slowly, his erect form falling a shadow before Eloise.

Her heart fluttered and she lifted her neck to look up at him.

In the glow, his hands look exceptionally good, like purposely crafted works of art, white and slender but strong.

Eloise licked her dry lips slightly and tried to look composed as she reached out and gently shook it.

In a moment, the large palm gently took her small hand in its grip.

The warmth came all of a sudden and the touch was familiar.

Eloise's cheeks flushed slightly and her heart somehow jumped for joy.

The next second, Eloise quickly drew back her hand, a look of panic on her face.

But it was quickly covered up as she forced a smile and said, "Good cooperation."

On the whole, negotiating the project was not that easy for her.

This time the collaboration was different than expected, Hector seemed to come to her either specifically or on official business.

From the beginning of the negotiations, it was clear that the JS Group knew a lot about their winery and had prepared the negotiations in advance.

Issues such as those concerning the distribution of profits were also considered in advance, and the quid pro quo was carefully negotiated with her step by step. The seriousness of the look also had Eloise pumped up.

During this process Hector also talks to her, not too much but at the heart of the matter, and every word makes sense.

She could not see that Hector had come over to talk about the project for any personal reasons.

But in the end, the overall grind was again slightly in favour of their winery.

This left Eloise a little confused too, she clearly had the feeling that Hector was giving her away, but couldn't replace any evidence. After all, in the teething period, the other side is still a bit aggressive and is looking out for its best interests.

Hector was just about to speak when Eloise's phone rang.

Eloise, who had been a little rattled by Hector, was secretly relieved to hear the phone ring.

When she dropped her eyes to look at her contact, her brow furrowed when she realised it was Rowson.

After a few seconds of thought, she ghosted the call and hung up, then put the phone away sharply.

Hector took in her little expression and the smile in his eyes deepened.

I had just seen her reaction and thought she would answer, and unexpectedly said, "Don't you have to?" Eloise came back to her senses and subconsciously lied.

"Ah, nothing, it's not that important, where were we?"

Hector lost his smile, "That's done."

Eloise rubbed her neck in embarrassment as an afterthought.

And Rowson, who was hung up on the other end, first wrinkled his brow, suspicion rising in his heart.

Who was Eloise with, really an occasion when she couldn't answer the phone?

And Hector?

Whirling around, he shook his head and forced down this suspicion, not rushing to type it a second time.

As the negotiations had ended, people from both sides nodded their heads in greeting and left.

The JS Group side gathered at the entrance, not daring to move.

Because their boss has no intention of leaving yet.

"President..." someone called out softly.

"You guys go back first."

Without lifting an eyelid, Hector waved the man away, his gaze falling on the silhouette in the conference room.

With a slight movement of his fingertips, he flipped up a chat screen and sent out a message.

"Not there yet?"

The man on the other end quickly replied, "Right away, five minutes to go!"

Only then did Hector put his phone away and nod in satisfaction.

When Eloise finished packing and looked back in the direction of the door, she was a little surprised to see that Hector hadn't left yet. "Why haven't you left yet?"

She trotted over and stood still in front of Hector.

At the end, he twisted the corner of his coat again, realising that his tone had been too intimate.

Hector turned his eyes sideways and said with a wry smile, "I'll wait for someone."

Eloise stiffened. It couldn't be waiting for her, could it?

"My son is nearby, someone will bring him over later."

Hector's thin lips flicked open and his eyes filled in the second half of the sentence with a smile.

As they stood closer, Eloise could see the starry glow in his eyes, which shone brightly.

His voice was soft when he spoke, in contrast to the handsome face.

When those eyes looked at her, the atmosphere was unconsciously ambiguous. ambiguous.

Eloise murmured, biting her lower lip slightly, her ears flushed.

Well, she's the one who made a fool of herself ...

Awkwardly placing her toes against the ground, Eloise couldn't wait to escape this bizarre oddity.

"I'll start ... then," she said, flicking her red lips to say she'd go first.

Hector interrupted and said, "Come along, Solomon should be at the door, he's quite keen to meet you, why don't you meet him before you go?" The cold, clear voice was so pleading that one could not refuse.

Eloise's mind wrestled with the thought of Solomon.

In his heart he knew he should not be too involved with this father and son, but his body took an uncontrollable step.

"Then let's go to the door of the office, on the way."

With that, she took a step towards the outside of the office.

Behind him, Hector's mouth rose and his elongated body moved to catch up with Eloise.

The two men arrived at the entrance to the office and did not replace Solomon in sight.

Eloise hesitated and reason returned.

Turning to Hector, he said, "Mr Hector, I'd better get going, goodbye."

Just as the words hit the ground, Hector's eyes fell behind her.

"Here it comes."

As soon as he finished, a soft, crisp voice echoed in his ears. "Mummy!"
