Love Comes To Me -
Chapter 600: Solomon faints
Next to him, Hector answered the phone, and in a moment, his face suddenly turned ugly, his blood faded in a general instant, and his arms trembled slightly.
The car spun hard and the tyres made a harsh sound against the ground.
Fortunately, he soon steadied the steering wheel.
"I'll be right over."
The man whispered into the other end of the phone, looking anxious.
Eloise also patted her chest heartily and, seeing that Ken Feng looked bad, asked worriedly, "Is something wrong?"
"A call from the school, saying Solomon had fainted and was in hospital."
Hector's voice had a slight tremor and his stoic look was no longer there.
"What? Is it serious? Which hospital is it in? Let's hurry!"
Eloise's heart snapped and she couldn't help but panic, her face pale with fear.
The two men hurriedly made their way to the hospital.
The teacher who followed Solomon to the hospital recognised Hector and immediately greeted him when he arrived.
"You must be the parents of Solomon's classmate, follow me, he's in the ward over here."
At this juncture, Eloise was in no mood to explain anything and followed the teacher into the ward.
Solomon was seen lying in a hospital bed, his little face white.
Sweat oozed from his ink-black hair, and an IV tube was inserted into the back of his hand.
He frowned tightly, with a look of distress, his dry lips mumbling something.
The look hurt Hector's heart and Eloise's eyes.
Hector looked at the doctor and asked in a hushed voice, "What's going on with Solomon?"
How could he suddenly faint when he was still alive and kicking when he left home this morning?
The doctor took out the medical record and looked at it and said, "The child had a high fever, he had been holding it back and the fever was a bit strong until now, that's why he fainted. You parents take it easy for now, he has been given a fever reducing injection, let's observe him first, there should be no serious problem."
"Mummy, Mummy don't go!"
Solomon in the hospital bed suddenly waved his arms in the air, calling out in pain to someone.
The words took on a sobbing tone and the movement involved the hands of the infusion, forcing blood up.
Eloise just felt so heartbroken watching and simply couldn't leave.
She stepped forward and took Solomon's hand in hers, patting his other arm gently and soothingly, "Solomon be good, Mummy's not leaving, Mummy's here."
Solomon, who had been emotionally unstable, was magically calmed by her words, and his brow gradually relaxed.
The nightmare that haunted him seemed to dissipate, and he held Eloise's hand tightly as his rapid breathing smoothed out.
At the other end, Rowson was late in waiting for Eloise, thinking that she had been delayed by something.
When I called the office and asked, I was told that she had gone to JS Group in the afternoon to talk about the contract. Rowson's face instantly turned grim, guessing that Eloise would be with Hector.
Looking at the time, Rowson placed the call to Eloise.
But he was answered by a mechanical female voice: Sorry, the number you have called is switched off.
Tossing his phone aside in annoyance, Rowson ripped off his tie and opened a bottle of wine straight away.
By the end of the night, Solomon's temperature was gradually normalizing.
The hearts of several adults hanging in the air were relieved.
Seeing that Solomon was okay, Rupert pulled Hector out of the ward, leaving room for Aisly and Eloise.
After the engagement, Rupert decided to take Aisly out for a good time.
The first place was in France, where his brother was, so that he could take care of anything.
Just off the plane, Rupert had planned to go to Solomon's school and surprise Solomon.
But what he didn't expect to receive was a shock. When he heard that Solomon had fainted, Rupert rushed over with Aisly without saying a word.
The two brothers looked at each other wide-eyed, with Hector staring at his brother with a puzzled expression.
Rupert said after patting Hector on the shoulder, "Aisly and I came over here to hang out, so we didn't inform you guys."
Hector nodded knowingly, without speaking.
Inside the ward, a sleeping Solomon, his small hands clutching Eloise's as if she would leave him if he let go.
Sensing Solomon's intense unease, Eloise was truly distressed by the boy.
She simply couldn't be bothered to leave, and Aisly saw the emotion in Eloise's eyes and knew that deep down she still cared for Solomon.
At that moment he spoke up, "Miss Eloise, you see Solomon still relies on you now even when he is sick, you don't know how clingy he was the first few years."
Eloise sniffed a little, Aisly she still remembered.
It was at her engagement party that he ran into Hector and Solomon the last time he was there.
That said, it was she who gave a few of them a chance.
Seeing Eloise dazed and not resisting what she had just said, Aisly continued: "It's a pity that this child was born without a mother. When Solomon first met you, he was just a little one, a little devil, and no one could say anything. Only your word is taken at face value and Solomon wants to sleep with you the first time he sees you. With Solomon's connection, you and big brother are getting better and better.
I thought I was going to live happily ever after as a family of three, but the sky is the limit, Miss Eloise, and you have no idea what Solomon and his big brother have been going through in the three years since you disappeared. He knew that Daddy was in pain, so he kept everything to himself and never showed his innermost thoughts.
Only at night would they cry for their mummy and then go to school and often fight with people because they were told they didn't have a mummy."
As she said this, Aisly kept watching Eloise's expression.
Eloise's eyes couldn't help but be filled with tears as she listened to her finish.
She had never imagined that Solomon's life could be so difficult.
This lively and cheerful looking child has such an unknown side to him.
Solomon was still murmuring on the bed and Eloise could vaguely hear him looking for Mummy.
Just how much do you care for Mummy to miss her like this.
Eloise couldn't have imagined it.
Outside the door, Hector couldn't help but look at Eloise's tearful face and couldn't help but get red-eyed too.
Such a cold and arrogant man, all the tears in his life, all for the sake of the clinging figure in the ward ....
Rupert sighed when he saw his brother's red eyes.
I really hope the family can be reunited soon.
As all the adults worried about Solomon, the bedside Solomon slowly opened his eyes.
After waking up from the nightmare, Solomon's body wasn't rolling so frighteningly hot anymore.
The sight of Eloise by the bedside has improved her spirits.
The physical weakness was becoming apparent by now and Solomon found himself a little hungry.
