Love Comes To Me
Chapter 601: You and I know it by heart

Blinking his slightly heavy eyelids, Solomon rubbed his flattened tummy and pouted at Eloise, "Mummy, Solomon's hungry."

At these words, Solomon stared straight at Eloise, his long eyelashes fluttering, his large black grape-like eyes reflecting the same bright light as the starry sky. Paired with that soft, sticky voice, anyone who looked at him would have loved to pile it all up in front of him.

Eloise's heart fluttered and she scanned the ward, noticing that there was nothing to eat except some fruit that Aisly had brought over.

"I'll go downstairs and get some porridge to come up."

Aisly volunteered, and Eloise nodded gratefully at her.

After Aisly had left, Eloise didn't sit idly by, taking out the apples and pears and washing them, carefully cutting them into pieces.

"Eat some fruit first, you should be hungry later."

Eloise said as she lifted Solomon out of the bed and sat him down, carefully flicking the IV tube to one side and handing it to Solomon's mouth with a toothpick inserted. Solomon's eyes change slightly as he looks at the apple cut into the shape of a rabbit in Eloise's hand.

Eloise used to always feed him apples cut into cute bunny shapes too.

"What's wrong?" Eloise asked, puzzled.

A slightly pale smile lifted Solomon's face at his words and he shook his head, "It's nothing, thank you Mummy."

Then opened his mouth and bit off the bunny on the toothpick, as his mouth was too small to fit a whole apple and a small piece fell off.

Seeing this, Eloise took a tissue to wipe the corner of Solomon's mouth and smiled lightly, "Eat slowly."

Rowson came to the hospital and saw the scene.

The two look like a mother and son, a warm and harmonious image.

And outside the door, Hector stood looking inside the ward, a light, doting smile on his face.

Rowson grimaced as he walked towards Hector, fists clenched in his hands.

It was as if sharp thorns had grown in the heart, spreading madly through it.

Sensing something, Hector looked ahead and met Rowson's hostile gaze.

For a moment, the air froze as if the atmosphere was stern.

When rivals meet, they see each other in a different light.

Rowson stood and settled in front of Hector, lowered his voice and said coldly, "Mr Hector, let's talk?"

"With pleasure." Hector nodded nonchalantly.

His eyes darkened and his gaze shifted back from Eloise.

The deep eyes rippled with dark currents.

There was a hidden element in the air, a meeting of eyes that lurked with hostility towards each other.

The atmosphere was tense and tense at the touch of a sword.

Both men unspokenly refrained from disturbing Eloise and walked to a secluded corner before stopping in their tracks.

"Mr Hector, let me be clear, I don't want you to bother Eloise anymore, your behaviour is affecting our normal lives and you and your son should stay away from her." Rowson frowned, his lower jaw tense.

When he thought of what he had just seen, the anger in his chest spread to his whole body and his tone unconsciously became harsh.

Hearing Rowson's warning, Hector said lazily, "Oh? What if I say no?"

The corners of his lips curled upwards slightly, the provocation obvious.

The tall figure slowly straightens in the light, a sense of power sweeping over one's nerves.

Rowson's eyes tightened and a few bruises strangled his arms.

He said in a deep voice, "Then I'll just have to call the police, you're being a slut. Disturbing my wife!"

Hector sniffed and grunted.

With a glance up, his eyes sharpened and he coolly reminded Rowson, "Whether she is your wife or not, you and I know it in our hearts."

At these words, a cold chill suddenly emanated from Hector's body, his dark eyes fixed on Rowson, his eyes sharp.

Rowson was instantly poked and prodded, glaring angrily at Hector.

The air froze for a moment in a stalemate.

Rowson's pupils fixed on Hector for a moment before declaring his sovereignty, "Eloise is my wife, and no matter what you say, she has forgotten you all, and I am now her husband as far as she is concerned." "She never belonged to you, just wait and see, I'll get her back."

Hector had one hand in his pocket and a slight note of disdain in his tone.

The halo of light made the imperative look on his handsome face clear to see, arrogantly.

He didn't even look at Rowson in the eye.

This demeanour seemed to stir up anger in Rowson's mind.

He gritted his teeth and responded, "I won't let you have that chance."

Hector snorted lightly, his expression bland and cold, unconcerned by Rowson's words.

"Then it's every man for himself."

The desire to win bursts from underneath the eyes and grows stronger.

He's never failed to get what Hector wants.

In the ward, Solomon had eaten and drifted off to sleep again due to the infusion.

When Eloise saw this, she came out to stretch, just in time to see the two men confronting each other at the end of the corridor.

Walking over towards them, he wondered out loud, "What are you doing?"

The atmosphere, which had been dark, was broken up with the arrival of Eloise.

The two men each collected the hostility in their eyes.

Hector was the first to slow down and look back to his normal self.

Cloudy replied, "Nothing much, just a casual conversation."

Eloise scanned the two men suspiciously, half-heartedly.

She then moved her eyes to Rowson and looked at him with some surprise and said, "Rowson, how did you replace this place?"

"Came to pick you up and take you home, a bit late and Sweety was messing around looking for you."

Rowson also looked as if nothing had happened and spoke blandly.

Looking out at the sky, Eloise murmured, "Oh, I gave in to the rush and forgot, let's go then."

She looked aside to Hector and said goodbye, somewhat at a loss for words.

"Solomon's asleep in there, I'll go back first."

Eloise didn't even dare to look at Hector's face because of Rowson's presence.

"Hmm."

Hector looked at the backs of the two men as they left, his eyes darkening a little.

In a whirlwind, a bitter smile curled the corners of his mouth.

The heart, torn by something, aches vaguely.

Eloise and Rowson made their way out of the hospital, neither of them saying much on the way.

Dropping her head, Eloise looked preoccupied.

Like being caught up in a memory, immersed in his own world.

Rowson was about to say something to her about not getting involved with the Rogers family all the time, but she was a bit distracted and the words didn't come out.

His eyes sank slightly as he looked at Eloise's figure, a sense of panic overwhelming him for no apparent reason.
